I used to be a faithful believer in Bestbuy. Long story short, about a year ago I bought an I-Robot 7 and a two year geek squad protection plan. Customer service told me they would fix or replace the unit if it broke. A few weeks ago I took my unit in because the base wasnt working properly. They told me they would ship it out to the repair center to have it looked at. When I returned to Bestbuy to pick up the unit, the customer service person told me that they had replaced the base with a new one. The guy handed me the base and insisted that it was new. Pictures attached in the review. The base had scratches and dirt all over it. I told the guy that my original base was in perfect cosmetic condition and did not want one that was scratched. The guy told me I cant do anything for you. I spoke to the store manager Jean, she pretty much told me I was out of luck. Very rude person. She should not be a manager of a Bestbuy store. I contacted their corporate office and they transfered me eight times. I am still figuring out how to get a base without scratches. I will no longer shop at bestbuy. Amazon has better protection plans and actually care about their customers.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Not sure what his name was, but guy working in cell phone section in the front around 5pm was super helpful. Sometimes the smallest gestures can make someones day, I think most of the staff here embody that mantra.
Visited three stores looking to purchase a kitchen stove. Best Buy was the very best. Sales person answered every question thoroughly. He did great. New kitchen range (stove) will be delivered on Saturday, thank you Best Buy.
I have come to best buy many times and the store is always nice, they have very well thought of displays. They have electronics for everyone. I like that youre able to see the displayed products before you buy them. There is a handicap parking lot, as well as handicap entrances. The service is amazing and the customer service reps are very helpful and knowledgeable. The store is always clean and they have a lot of electronics to choose from. Cameras, phones, televisions, computers, toys, cables, adapters and much much more! They also have the pick up in 1 hour service, all you do is go to their website, find the available product, choose 1hr pick up (make sure you choose the right store). Then pay for it and pick it up when you get your email.

I ordered a 65 inch TCL Roku TV online on Friday, as my 2 year old TV went out. I arrived there that afternoon to pickup and was told the TV wont fit in my car, but they can deliver to my home free of charge. I get out my car, go in the store, and schedule a delivery for Monday morning. Monday morning comes and go, so I call customer service, only to be told the item is no longer in stock and they cant get the TV to me for 2 weeks. Totally unacceptable. I wanted to know why my TV was no longer there when I physically saw it waiting on me in the store when I went in. was given the number to the store. Called the store, no one answered so I was directed to a Best Buy Call Center. They in turn, tell me I need to go up to the location. I go back to the location, speak with a supervisor/lead who tells me that he will have someone from installation deliver my TV this afternoon. a bit over an hour goes by and he calls me to say that they cant get that TV to me, but will give me a comparable one at no additional charge, and it will be delivered to me Wednesday. 10 minutes later, I get an email that my order has been canceled completely. Called customer service, and they have no idea why it was cancelled as there are no notes on the account, and no one has bothered to call me. Im completely upset and disappointed with the lack of consideration for my time and convenience and poor communication. Ive purchased many high priced items from best buy, and now I will never deal with them again.

I bougth a Toshiba televison on July 1st, -by July 30th the television stoped turning on. -I brought the television to Best Buy on July 30th. -They sent to it to the service center. -By August 6th Best Buy sent me tracking numer 01769-327977321 that its on the way back to the store. -August 14th I went to the store Employees at the Geek squad said that we do not have an estimate when the tv will arrive as we cannot locate your televison, they ssaid they will escalate the issue -August 18th called their number was kept on hold for 45 minutes then transfered then they hung up on me -August 19th I called again was but on hold for 35 minutes than transfereed to another department for 30 minutes than transfered again after wating 20 minutes. The agent on the call said my television is lost and that the serial number has been changed. They are trying to locate it. They will escalated it. -I went to Best Buy spoke to a manager at Geek Squad who told me that there is nothing we can do. They do the bare minimum to help you out, last time for me Best Buy.

I dont really like this company as a whole but I try to stay objective. The service here is decent but their policies are where they stick you es use my French... We bought a laptop and its not even a month old and they refused to switch or return the money. They want to FIX a laptop they sold broken and somehow Im responsible for it being broken. Really disappointed in this...
Ok.. they had me Walk back and forth from the customer service desk to gaming section all the while game e needed was right in front of them.. So many people all should just be labeled as greeters because none really want to help! The pass right by you always talking to each other and not concerned about the customers in front of them.. Its starts from the top, the moment you walk in you set the expection/ the customer experience starts!
What a strange experience. I got none of the three items I showed up for (two are only available online and one was out of stock) but I got a TON of info and friendly advice from a young pierced gentleman named Pedro. I left empty handed but wasnt dissatisfied with my visit in the slightest. Give that kid a raise.
The shabbily-stocked shelves truly underscore BBs focus on web sales as box stores go by the wayside. Many departments remind me of a Florida supermarket after a hurricane warning. So dont count on leaving the store with item in hand. Unless youre shopping for select items that crave a eyes/hands-on experience (TVs and appliances come to mind), save the trip and go online.
Best buy is always clean and organized, but I would always have to flag someone down for assistance every time.

Good place to shop located at a big shopping plaza although at one time there were alot of stores open not as much any more but understandable due to the recent circumstances in this world.

I recently purchased $2000 worth technology products on bestbuy.com . As per their site guaranteed, it will be delivered on Friday May 28th 2021 it didnt arrive until May 30th 2021 at my door . I opened the MacBook pro and rest of the items, I inspected MacBook pro outside body had lot of scratches so I took it immediately to local store which is on Birch road, Chula vista California 91915 on May 30th 2021 right after product was delivered. Return counter cashier didnt have any cluse what he has to do so he kept asking co workers Bunch of questions to figured it what they can do to give me replacement product which simple process but it took them over 45 mins to figured it after talked to bunch of floor managers especially one of the floor manager Joaane told the cashier in private to let me know their system has not updated so they wont be able to give me replacement it takes 24 hrs to update so cashier Melanie came back n told me that I need to go back to the store next day when they open at 10 am which is May 31at 2021 . I appeared with the MacBook pro and asked cashier to give me replacement then cashier went back to the same female floor manager JOANNE to figured it the mess she told me she cant do anything till another 24 to 48 hrs for their system to update the delivered order in order to get replacement .so I simply asked JOANNE whats going on with this order? I have been a Best buy Wlite plus member means I have spent over $30,000 towards merchandise over period of 16 years from the same store, I asked Joanne, why are you treating me like this and giving me run around answer ? She was the one made a decision yesterday for me to come back today which was fine but again same story which is totally unfair to me going back n forth to the store for my replacement not only that they already charged to my Credit card bank. When I asked her questions, then she just went out of her control and blaming me I was wrong asking the questions. She bluntly told me go to Chula vista another best buy store for my needs which was totally disrespectful and no courtesy to apologized about the inconvenience. I felt like she was discriminating me at this point . I even told her that you dont care a customer like me spent over $2000 and I need to listen to her story made me to go back n forth .I told her you guys need to be transparent n guide your customers appropriately then there will be no drama. But entirely she didnt handle the transaction for replacement courtesiously and respectfully. I have reached out to the Corporate office for entire incident needs to be thoroughly reviewed and find a solution for future customers needs at the local store w. In a pandemic, businesses are struggling and Manager like Joanne has job because of customers coming to their door so their business will be alive. If the leader of the corporate store manager Like Joanne acted rudly and disrespectful to a customer like me . Its a shame, shame and shame on her and someone will review her behavior and make her understand at the end of the day its all about customer service . She was rude, arrogant and disrespectful and bias for non American citizens. Its a huge mistake and her bad Karma will be answered by GOD . Thank you .

Whoever your staff is at stovetop/appliances, 10/10, two thumbs up, very attentive employees. Quite different from experiences I’ve had at other BestBuy.
Best Buy has pandemic service down to an art. Orders are prepared quickly, often within 10-15 minutes and pickup is fast, safe, and convenient.

15 day return policy is unfair especially during the pandemic, I bought some accessories for my new phone before I got it and didnt realize the return policy. I work full time and have a son so it took me a little over two weeks to make it back to best buy and the customer service person and then the manager tells me I can get store credit as a one time courtesy. Like seriously? Then tells me there was a customer survey that best buy conducted and that it was voted by customers that they preferred a 15 day return policy because by that time they know if they like it or not. What does that even mean? I question your sample group. A major company should have 30 days, 14 days for phones maybe but thats the way phones have always been, but for some high priced nonsense I will never shop here again. The wireless car charger I bought was misleading, in the picture on the box it didnt show the WIRE coming right off the side of the charger, which is fine because I know I have to connect the power cable to it, but totally defeats the purpose because you have an awkwardly placed cable that shoots out in front of your car stereo instead of from the bottom where you would expect it to be. I work hard for my money and you lost a customer.
I used to really like this store. This time, completely disinterested staff. No desire to help. I asked what they had in desktops since the one I order had its date moved twice, and the answer wasprobably nothing. Three salespeople, no one offered to help at all. I told a manger of my negative experience as a regular customer and he told me, Thanks for the feedback. and went about his day. Not a way to keep customers.
Nice place for electronic TV smart phone and appliances
I took my Grandson to buy a Windows 10 Minecraft game card. When I went to install the card I noticed that I had purchased the game when I bought my computer a year ago. I never installed the game until now. So my Grandson doesnt need the game card and ask for a refund which best buy denied. I called best buy and they continued to transfer me around until they said maybe the store manger where my Grandson had bought the card. They took my phone number and said that the manger will call me back. I dont think that its going to happen because the store will closing soon and I been waiting a long time for the manger to call.theone thing i ask about was and no would not answer is if it was all right to steal 30 dollars from a 10 year old kid.i also if I was best buy policy to do that and the answer I got was best buy doesnt give refunds on digital cards but I gust they can steal money from a kid.

Made an appointment for phone service, came to get it done just to find out they don’t have the parts? How can you make an appointment without having parts? I drove 20 miles to get here and rescheduled my whole day for nothing. And on top of that, they broke my screen protector before they checked for parts, so now I’m stuck with no repair and no screen protector.
Indeed the Best place to Buy your electronics. You can even build a full computer with RGB water coolers with just the parts available here (except for GPUs, you cant find any new ones at all anywhere in the world right now), and staff are nice and welcoming. I dare you to find a Best-er place to Buy your electronics... Ha..ha.. Wheres the nearest exit?

Not impressed at all! Went in to purchase a Note 20 case and glass cover. They were either out of stock or had a very minimal selection. Im talking two to three options only. Upon making a purchase I asked if they could install the glass cover and case. It not only took them 25 min to place it on but when I received the phone back, they had scratched the case and left dust and finger prints ALL over the phone. It was a clear casing! Didnt even bother cleaning it. Also had a quick question (so I thought) about changing the touch sensitivity on the phone. Their Geek squad was absolutely clueless. So I went to their Samsung Expert counter. Riiiight. Its like they never even held a Samsung phone before. They too were completely useless. Telling me there was no such function and I would need to delete my current finger prints and start over. They began asking everyone. Because I knew there was a way. I just couldnt figure out how to find the setting. They finally found someone that did know the answer to my problem. Get this.... HE DIDNT EVEN WORK THERE! He was a friend visiting another employee. Next time Ill just order off Amazon and do a query on YouTube if I have a question about my phone. Moral of the story. If you go to this store, know exactly what you want and how it works. Because the employees will most likely not be of any help.

Applied to this best buy. Was called in for an interview nailed the interview hired me on the Spot for a fright position. A week goes by no word about my training. I called and they told me that they took away the hiring position I was hired for and told me to apply for asset protection I did so right after the phone call. Another few days goes by I call again was told the position they told me to apply no longer available and that they where told to not hire anymore. Resulted in calling Corporate and they told me they couldnt do anything thats the HR in the store made the decision lying to me. Overall bad experience if you are trying to apply.

Bad and unprofessional customer service and manager. Bought and item that was not stock at customer service desk, seller confirmed that it had a 30 day return to policy. I received the item by mail on Dec 23rd. On January 19 tried to return it and they denied the return. I escalated to store manager (Matt) with no success. They claim that is 15 day return or only returns if sealed under special exception. Save yourself time and frustration and buy online from anyone else.!
(Nov 2020) Great floor sales staff (shout out to Alec). Friendly staff all around and they listen to your needs and try to help resolve your obstacles. Been here twice and will visit this location again and again in Eastlake.

I came in to get some upgrades for my car and the staff here, Jorge and Pablo, showed the upmost exemplary customer service Ive seen compared to the other Best Buys in this area! Since this was done during the Covid Pandemic, they took the best care in limiting contact and making sure that my car was lined with plastic wrapping in the areas they were working on.
Beware the upsale. Standard best buy with some good workers, most of them.

Yesterday [07-04-2020] @ around 5pm/6pm.Frank and Luis both did an outstanding job with helping me fufill my wants & needs upon arrival. Both men were patient with me when I was asking a lot of questions. I have had so much issues with Geek Squad employees and regular day to day staff members within this specific store location including a handfull of other Best Buy stores in San Diego. Luis and Frank are both assets, no doubt. Its workers like them two who make customers want to come back and not go to another store. I know what I am talking about because I no longer go to 2 other stores due to poor customer service.Thank you Luis and Frank/Franklin. Both of you keep up that solid work ethic and continue to make best Buy look sharp!!*Humble and hard working

Customer service failed to meet my expectationsNeither of the people I spoke with outside greeted me when I parked in the Curbside Pickup area or even looked in my direction.When I finally got out & walked over to talk with them, they still didnt say anything to me, so I had to say Excuse me to get their attention. When I asked, they both just shrugged and told me their system was down so I couldnt pick up the item I had ordered online (even though it was sitting on the shelf in the store).They did not try to think of a solution (ie, put themselves in my shoes...a basic tenet of customer service!) so I had to ask other people inside the store how to handle it, since I had already purchased the product. All I needed was to grab the item, buy it, and hit cancel on the order in my confirmation email. How hard is that?Very disappointing that a store would have people out there with such apathy... These guys are the face of the company, as they are all we as customers see. I would be ashamed if I were thr owner or manager of a business that treated its lifeline (customers) like that.

My husband and I walked there today not realizing they’re only doing curbside pickup. Staff was really friendly. We stood outside, created an account, ordered on the app, and they were quick to bring our items out to us. The manager even rushed it along since we were standing outside. Great staff!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!! I purchased something online and paid for it. I went to the store to pick it up. I rode my bike there. To pick up an item, you need an ID that they can authorize. An ID issued by the state government is not good enough; you also need to print out the email with the order number on it and then show the credit card you used. I went back to the store twice with all the info that was required and they found a way to deny the purchase. Eric, the general manager is the biggest A-hole, ever. I CANT WAIT FOR THEM TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS. I should do like everyone else, and buy from Amazon. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.
Racially profiled horrible customer service
Called them to install a tv and take away the old one. Currently my old tv is on the floor and on hold with them for the unaccounted time. Its been 4 days. When I wait too long they transfer me to a best buy in another city who are near traumatized at how Im being treated and how they are treated when they call in to try and resolve my problem. Ive been cussed out, left on hold for hours and hung up on by them. Never buying a single product from them again. This apparently applies to the whole city because Ive tried dealing with everyone ... Over one tv.
I visit this Best Buy a lot. Always greeted when walking in and rarely spend very much time looking around without someone asking if I need help. Would have been a 5 star but more times than not items Im looking for are usually at another store or I have to order from online. I think they should explore widening their inventory of popular and trending items.

Took my phone here to get repaired. (Cracked screen)The Apple store locally was booked for several weeks. Setup an appointment and took my phone to this location. They were able to fix the screen within 2 hours.So quick, easy. Loved it.
This was my worst experience I have ever had with Best Buy & I am an Elite member so I frequently purchase from Best Buy. I went in with a list to make my daughters home a smart home, I was in the store for a hour & 1/2 for the salami to gather up most of the items, I had to go to 2 other locations to get the sensors & cameras. The salesman obviously did not know what he was doing. I will out of my way to other Best Buys before I return to this location.

They went out of their way to find me the last copy of a video game I wanted. Usually if I ask this from a store they wouldnt do that. I appreciated that.
