Had some problems with a clerk who wasnt very friendly the day I had my own problems with a tire I needed to balance after a flat tire. The workers doing the hard work with balancing the tire were very nice and I appreciated their help. The store manager was nice also and made sure I was happy with their services.

Had some tire problems after seeing my front tire flat one morning. After putting some green slime in it and air to get me back on the road. Had the tire balanced but afterwards I drive away the front tire was worse than when I first drove in. The worker jacked up my vehicle and shook the tire. He stated that it was a problem with the front end and not the tire. I took the rear tire and put on the front wheel. Took the front tire and put it on the front of the vehicle and nothing seemed wrong. Went back and had a problem with a service tech and had to go back again and got the wheel balanced again. Everything is okay now but Ill need to replace both front tires.

I wanted to take a second to thank Frank and the team at Cherniss Tire World. I had a flat tire today and stopped by the Cherniss Shop, because it was the only place that still appeared open.I was expecting to have to pay for a replacement tire. But after examination they determined the tire only needed to be patched, and they did so over the next 30 mins. When I asked him how much I owed for the labor, they said it was free of charge! What a refreshing change of pace from the typical auto repair that shops that do whatever they can to squeeze every nickel out of you. I have of finally found my go-to auto guys in San Diego. I had originally wrote a bad review earlier about a service that I received at this dealership. Randy the manager called me quickly after the review was posted to discuss it. I then explained to him my situation and he listened and explained to me their point of view. It seems this was an issue based off an employee who no longer works here. Randy was very professional and fixed the situation. The earlier review was not a reflection of Randy and his business but a a bad employee who no longer works there. He really fixed the situation and respected me as a customer and I will continue to take my car here for work.

The staff was friendly, but what bothers me is that not one single emploee I saw, was wearing a face covering. I mean...we are in the middle of a pandemic. The guy who assisted me was very nice and profesional but he sat in my car without a mask on and I was terrified! I had to open all windows and sanitized every surface. Not going back if they dont use a mask.

This place is great! My salesman Frank was awesome, he listened to what i needed and got it done. I took my truck to a couple other places to have it aligned, but they couldnt find the problem. Brought my truck here and they were able to get the truck aligned, and its riding a lot better... and the steering wheel is straight! I will have no complaints driving the 1hr and 15 mins to get there to have work done.

I bought tires here 3 years ago for a very reasonable price. Today I went in because I had picked up a screw and the plug job my husband did was no longer holding. They patched it and didn’t charge me a penny because I bought the tires there. I will never go anywhere else while I live in San Diego! These guys are amazing.Frank Ramirez is incredibly helpful, upfront, and nice. They didnt charge me for identifying problems, and have been incredibly helpful in finding a cost effective way to fix my car. Ive been back now for three issues and i wont go anywhere else.They have gone beyond what normal shops do for their customers.

Took my truck in there on a Saturday for an alignment, these guys are great! They saw that a part was damaged and fixed it no charge. Explained to me what was the reason for the work (besides alignment) very pleased with their service will definitely bring my other vehicles here and refer others to them.

I came in a couple of weeks ago to have a car I was interested in buying looked at. I figured that if I was paying $120 which is the most expensive in that neighborhood the diagnoses would be accurate. I was wrong. I waited close to three hours when they said it would take half that time. The owner was very rude. I bought the car and less than a week later found out that the radiator was broken. This place has terrible service. There are plenty of other places to choose from on that street that are cheaper and who provide better service. I suggest you go else where.

It is so rare to come across an honest mechanic. We were ready to pay for tires alignment and new rear breaks and thanks to the fabulous customer service they told us we didnt need an alignment and the breaks were still good. Usually u call a place to get work done and thats exactly the work and more they charge u for. Here you can trust them to have a great price and only charge u for work ur car actually needs! Sorry guys you get a one star. My recommendation is to go some where else. Completed my front end upper A-arms ball joints wheel bearings boots for steering arm. Mechanic adjusted steering arm toe without paying attention to the protective boot that he twisted up and is now tore. Mechanic never checked upper A-arm alignment when i inspected my truck i found that they never adjusted upper A-arms and one of the bolts on the driver side was about to fall. Good thing i checked. Now i need to go get another alignment for my new tires so they dont wear out. I scared to go back here.

I took my 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe here three weeks ago. The initial quote (which I received on the phone) was a few dollars higher than the lowest price, but still far cheaper than the dealer or any quick-fix (jiffy lube) type places. I decided the extra few $$ was worth it because of the great reviews.In the end, I 100% could not have been happier with the experience. The shop is located in an industrial section of Chula Vista, across the street from a few decent restaurants. The waiting room may not be dealership caliber, but its a lot better than what you find in most auto repair places.But it was really all about the customer service, and the knowledge of the mechanics. The service was exceptional from start to finish - friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to spend the time it takes to help you understand everything. On top of that, there was 0 pressure or upselling. Further, upon starting the repair the mechanic himself took the time to explain to me my options once he got under the car.Through the conversation with the mechanic, I learned that an issue who had been driving me nuts for about a year (a squeal coming from under the car) could be fixed easily and in about 30 seconds (i.e. at no charge) - when he could have just as easily done the repair differently (replacing a part instead of removing an unnecessary one) and charged me $200+ which I was willing to pay.I then sent my mother there about 3 weeks later for a variety of repairs. Her experience was the same if not better than mine, with the honesty and skill of the service reps and mechanics continuing to shine through.Bottom line: they may not be the cheapest shop with the initial quote, but their prices are still very competitive, they dont nickel-and-dime you over every little thing, and the service and honest appraisals cannot be beat.

I waited for an 1 hour and a half for my oil change to be done only to be told it would be another hour. While I sat in the parking lot I watched them take business ahead of me which were walk-ins not appointments. They told me it was almost done that they were draining fluids and it took another 30 min until someone said they would bring the car out...only to watch them bring 3 more cars out until they could bring my oil change car up...I literally wasted a day for an oil change. Thanks.
