Hadnt been at this location in a while. Big, roomy and clean. Prices have seen to have increased (almost doubled) since Covid-19 started last year. Thanks
As a thrifter, I love this store its big! You’ll need to have time to look around and visit often to find the good stuff I’ve found some good antiques, decor, Hawaiian collectibles, Japanese items, artwork, Lululemon clothing, books, and toys. My son loves to find Transformers here.Note: parking can get difficult. Sometimes you have to wait for a spot to open up. If you’re donating you don’t need a spot, you can drive up and drop off in the front.Goodwill Hawai’i has a card you can get to earn a little cash back over time, ask about it at the register.
Cookie the associate was very helpful. I bought a dresser and she helped me load it on my car.
Cashier named Princess was on FaceTime with someone and arguing with them while ringing me up this morning. I thought it was completely unprofessional and then she asked if I had a goodwill card to which I said “No” and then she proceeded to yell at whoever was on the phone and then asked me again if I had a goodwill card, making me repeat myself.
Went in after work to see what they had. You cant try any clothes on and they are refusing returns in case you take them home and they dont fit. Other retailers will not allow trying on in the store, but will allow returns in case you try them on at home and they dont fit or look good on you. I understand the concept and mission of goodwill, but Im not buying items from there just to donate and have clothes I cant wear.
I GET ALL MY DVDS HERE ON THE LOW.👍
I love goodwill and knowing that ever $ I spend goes back to the community and the island peoplei
Great staff, found what I was looking for!
The people were wonderful! The store was clean and lots of selection
Went on a Tuesday, and the selection was good, and the prices were even more reasonable than before.Found a few brand new T-shirts that were incredibly priced.Their selection really varies from day to day, but it is best to shop often. Most times, one can find incredible bargains.
I thought Goodwill stores in DC was highest priced goodwill of all .... but this store went beyond that. You can buy much cheaper at the tjmaxx brand new with tag. Priced way too high for recycled goods too bad. Stuff is nice though.
Great Customer Service & Shelves Always Loaded
I am so impressed! So clean! There is something for everyone!!The parking lot can be somewhat of a challenge to navigate because there is only one way in and out with a lot of businesses surrounding the store. The store is big inside and well organized. The prices are a bit higher than what I expected, but they do offer 20% off discount days for Seniors (Tuesdays), Military who have a valid ID (Wednesdays), and students with a valid college ID (Sundays).Overall, I think its a fun place to go!
No ac, so it gets really hot when your trying to look around. Place is kinda unorganized and confusing. Smalls aren’t in smalls, the jeans aren’t in their correct sizing so it was hard for me to look. Staff was a little rude. Has a good variety, but yes look out for stains and holes
Had a great experience. They got a lot of selections for clothing, kitchen, sporting goods and furniture, etc. Dont forget to get the membership to earn points and get discount later and also round up to donate.
DONATION CENTER CLOSES AT 4:30pmNO DONATION BOX FOR AFTER HOURS DROPS. WASTE OF TIME
Just dropped off some stuff I dont need. Very easy.
I made a three bags of donations thenpurchased some 3 kitchen items, a kite, a picture frame and 20oz water bottle. I was there in the last hour for my newest collection of items. The best part was using my Goodwill rewards which reduced my final purchases by $4.00. People get yourselves a Goodwill Rewards card and remember that they also offer a discount for senior shoppers. Check what day for the senior discounts......Have fun shopping🤗
No ac so plan on being very sweaty. They also price the clothing fairly high compared to what I’m used to on the mainland. Any donation only gets your 20% off ONE item. I go back because I find discounted tags but it’s crazy that some used tank tops can run you $10 when you can shop sale ranks at other retailers for the same price unused.
It has a good selection for a good will. Cheap aloha shirts, nice and cheap books and cool knick knacks to find.
Awesome place to donate your unwanted items. Be sure to get a receipt for your tax deduction and use the coupon for your next purchase. Great place to find collectibles, books, music and unique clothing, etc.
Need to have a public bathroom available.
Good as always, more organized
Great selection of goods. Lots of new Target items are regularly in stock which makes for great bargains - like school supplies, furniture, clothing, etc. It can get somewhat warm since the large store isnt completely air-conditioned. Parking is adequate and customer service is good.
Quick drop off for donation! Store is a bit rundown, but overall has a large selection.
Outrageous prices on most home items, poor clothing selection and as always top dollar for used clothes, many clothes are in poor shape so inspect carefully for holes, tears, etc.I cant imagine how much donated stuff they keep for themselves and throw out instead of merchandising due to space issues.Friendly smiling staff so they deserve a star!
Recently renovated - and now I am feeling like I am shopping a legit discount department store. Great job Goodwill! Updated changing rooms and better organizational layout. I am a happy camper.
Excellent service and very nice place to shop. Found what we wanted and cashier was a nice young boy that checked us out. He asked if I was military service retired (which I didnt notice a sign)and included the discount. We need more people like him. Thank you.
The store was recently renovated so its much cleaner and well organized. Theres a lot of inventory. Its still super hot in the store even though theyve added more fans. The donation center does not take furniture unless its assembled.
Store has been completely rearranged since my last visit, for the better. Ceiling fans could be stronger because at 1pm in July, the store is quite warm. However, I did find some just-in-time cold weather gear, so 4 Stars!
Its ok. There are plenty of donated clothes, kitchenware, small furniture, books, DVDs, office supplies, and used sport equipment. I was a bit surprised to see some VHS tapes still laying on the shelves. There are some fans at corners of the building, but no AC. I mainly browse around after donating some clothes, which is not very often.
I have always enjoyed shopping at Goodwill. One downside is that now that there are no carts at the stores, I find that I buy fewer items and spend much less money. Sadly, those tiny pull-carts are just awkward & inconvenient. On the other hand, Ive noticed the staff are more and more customer friendly & always super helpful.
Once in a while I find really amazing items here. Such as a TUMI (mens laptop briefcase) bag for $14.99 retailing at over $400 online. Home decor etc. Some needed a little TLC but I love that.
It has clothes and accessories for men, women and children. Household items like bedding, kitchen ware and more for a great price! I have always loved Goodwill back in the states and Im so glad Oahu has one!
Out of all the goodwills on the island, this one usually has the best selection just be wary of parking
I usually go to this location but it gets warm in store with no ac!
Love the renovations, easier to find good buys! Friendly staff, great deals! Way to be more sustainable!
All bathrooms are closed to customers
I went here to drop off 5 bags of donation clothes for my in-laws. Pulled up to the drop-off area and popped open my trunk. Their was workers, working hard trying to make room from previous donations. As soon as I popped open my trunk a man appeared and helped me remove the bags, before my husband could even get of it the car. Those workers are friendly and efficent!
It is better than I remember.
The Pearl City location is my favorite and the employees are always very nice and keep the store clean and tidy.
A lot more selection than the Kapolei one which is in my neighborhood. I dont mind the drive once in awhile. Id probably drive out more often if the prices were more reasonable.
Great place to get almost anything. When donating my items theres a grumpy local lady that you need to explain to her to give you a coupon for your donation. Unhappily she does...if dont like where you work....QUIT!😜
Dropping off donations are always quick and easy. almost always i ask for a donation receipt only for the store discount. amy is always nice and welcoming. hi amy 😁
Love this location. Great staff and every once and a while you find something good.
Their prices here are just ridiculous. I found stereos that cost more than a brand new one next door at Best Buy. I often wonder if people actually buy those things. Do they realize they are being ripped off? I stopped shopping here after I got tired of seeing stereos for overly high prices. I also see old used furnishings that cost as much as brand new one of the same brand. Whoever prices these things are nuts.
Recently remodeled, clean and very light inside. Organized and much easier to find what youre looking for in the store.
Lots of choices for everything and everyone. One thing I learned is once you see something you like and its a good deal......take it. Otherwise next day its gone.
It is the biggest goodwill Ive been on this island by far. Facility looks old but clean. Only 1 bathroom stall for everyone both male and female. Great amount of stuff in store.
We always got good deals at good will we got toys for kidsand kids table we been looking for one we got good quality table very happy with our purchase
Great finds here! And they totally renovated the whole store it looks fabulous!
Never a bad experience, always leave with at least one item in my hands :)
Terrible service, they need to get their communication right, and clearly state what type of sale they are having and what does ot apply to. I went one day and asked about military discount, they clearly stated on Wednesday. So went on a Wednesday and confirmed before looking around store, first they said no, its on Tuesdays, then minutes later come back and say yes, its today. I ask if on all items on stores and they say yes except those on sale with a certain color of tag. So as I pay I take out my military ID and then tell me it does mot apply to Christmas items. Even though 3 people confirmed it and so does their signs. I was so pissed, not because of the couple of dollars extra I didnt plan on paying but because it is not the first time I experience similar situations here. And unfortunately prices arent that great either, seen same priced items at Ross or even Walmart. O always kept trying to give them thr benefit of the doubt but not anymore. This place needs to step up their game!
Great prices. Some of the items are brand new. Friendly staff and clean store.
Large, well organized store. There are a lot of Hawaiian shirts. I found four small shirts which is usually hard to find. The prices are not a real bargain but I dont mind as I see it as a type of donation.
BAD customer service! MOSTLY all their stuff are over priced when it’s only donated & used items.
People receive 20% coupon when they donate to Goodwill. 🤙🏽👍🏽
Great low prices and best selection
Needed to find a Mardi Gras Mask walked in and saw one immediately. The store is really laid out well and gorgeous.
A great place to support the local community and a fantastic selection of Aloha Shirts!
Remodeled. Nee things added. Large variety of wRes. Modern clothings. Mi e workers
I didnt find anything I wanted even though the selection was huge. Also,it looks nice in there now.
Always find lots of eclectic things...
Clothes are not priced like they used to be. A used t-shirt for $4.99? Certain things are fairly priced still.
Good place....and there is a dirty book store around the corner....sorry they closed that place down🤨
Pretty awesome. I copped a like-new blazer for $6, a boonie hat for $2, and a new dry-fit shirt for $4. All I had to do was break a $20.My brother scored on some Air Jordan XIIs too. Great pricing. If you think the prices are high, youre looking at the wrong products!
Good deals, organized, and a win- win opportunity for all!
Great customer service and very clean facility.
Damn got a pair of barely used adidas samoas for $12 super great buys. Great place for rly cute vintage clothing and big hauls
Great prices and helpful employees
Awesome deals..lots of treasures to find....
Great finds, you just have to look harder.
A lot of pre loved items. Friendly staff.
Convenient drop off. Drop off bins available.
Big store, discount week items & a lots of more.
Prices are good, but store is a little less organized than some Ive been in. And the furniture section is very small.
Sales associate turns off the light even though im still at the sales floor. She could be nicier by saying sorry were closing in a minute.
Come in for a bargain. New pre-loved treasures every day.
They need a garage area where you can just pull your car up and unload donations. The way they are setup you have to lug your boxes across a parking lot and into the building. Its often difficult opening a door with a bunch of donations in your arms.
Ive donated and Ive purchased items when I was in need. Good place.
Lots of merchandise, more than goodwill on the mainland. Hot, a/c is spotty
Prices on used video games are $6.99. PS2, PSP, original xbox, including sports games on the xbox 360 and PS3. The other Goodwill has them for $2.99. Other items are also priced way too high.
Not overpriced like many other Goodwills
I found some nice dress clothes there express shirts
Very warm inside.
I would like to spend times to find something useful, I think too much wasting in this world.
A very casual place
Its not a savers if thats the vibe youre looking for. Its very dirty and feels like just absolute junk placed there and the price points are not suited for each item.
Its over priced for a goodwill. I can go down the street to the Ross and buy things cheaper. Also I saw a original price tag for 3.99 on sale and Goodwill slapped a 5.99 price tag right beside it. Im not sure what they thought.
Hot warehouse
Wide variety of items. A little expensive for second hand items.
Best place ever
Good buys, friendly staff!
Descent products. One of the bigger goodwills in Honolulu.
Is there such a thing as an overpriced Goodwill? Because this would be it.
Got alot of things
