Walked in knowing what I wanted and knew they had it in stock thanks to their website. Walked up to the counter. Clerk was actually showing another customer the rifle I wanted.

Poor customer service kicked my friend out because they claimed we smelled like weed. The crazy thing is even Id that were true I am completely sober at this moment and 100% coherent he was very condescending and he walked up like he had a problem. I will not be returning here and I will also he filing a complaint. I heard this store was sketchy but I guess some things you have to see for yourself.

My experience here was fairly great all the employees were super nice. I’m only writing a review because the manager or whoever she was, was so extremely rude to her employees. It made me sick the way she talked to them. I don’t know her name but she was some ugly red head. I hope she gets fired no one deserves to get spoken to the way she spoke to the employees.

I went in to look around. Personnel very helpful and no sale pressure. Came out with a new gun.

The world has changed, ammunition is expensive, the guns you want arent available. Taking all this into consideration the staff at Target World does their best to take care of each customer with respect, consideration, and a little humor. Although they did not have what I wanted I still left Target World with a very positive impression. This is where you want to spend your money.

My husband and I went there on August 14, 2020 in hopes to find a particular pistol I’d been researching, and we did find exactly what we wanted. However, the customer service was terrible. My husband and I both have pistols and revolvers. Some I’ve brought for him, some for myself. Same way with him buying firearms for me. As some women often do, I left my purse in car, so my husband wanted to use his id for the back ground check. Employee was insistent it had to be my id because I wanted the gun, but he’ll carry it too. All guns we own we both will be carrying. Husband finally said it’s my gun use my id. Then he gave us a computer to fill out background check. Since my husband had a very hard time seeing the tiny screen he wanted me to answer the yes and no questions, employee got rude demanded he had to fill it out. I had to read everything to him, then he signed it. Again employee was rude when husband was attempting to sign for the third time. We are the customer, and we need to be treated with respect not anything less. I’m a 40-50 white WOMAN I will NEVER BE BACK TO THIS PLACE. As a strong independent woman I will never be made feel that way again. My Husband over the years has spent thousands of dollars. May I add, the smoke filled the inside of the retail space. Group of younger adults were using range, and one of them came out of range holding a pistol!!!! NO SAFETY AT ALL ! Only good thing was target world had the pistol we wanted!

I attended the CCW class here and had a great experience! At the end of this class I felt very comfortable that I was walking away with the knowledge I needed.Our instructor Tom was so helpful and informative. I definitely recommend this class to friends and family.

Fair prices on the range, good selection on the retail end, and Ive never had a problem with the staff. They seem to take good care of the range but that parking lot is a little trippy sometimes.

Terrible customer service. Brought gun in to have checked out and accused me of pointing it towards him. Really?? Said he couldnt tell if it was pointed at him. Try standing up and talk to your customers in a professional manner and you might be able to see what is in front of you. When I went to pick gun up, different employee seemed annoyed that he had to even wait on me. We are your customers, try being polite, try smiling for a change.

This is the second handgun class Ive taken at Target World with Tom Woolery. The classes were presented very professionally. Ive gained much. I plan to attend further training.

Hands down best indoor range in town, with knowledgeable staff and great prices! If your shooting indoor this is the place to be at and they host many shooting competitions for all skill levels and can get what ever your looking for if they dont already have it in stock in their huge showroom. I been going here since the early 2000s and this is still my favorite go to store and range.

Went in and had a awful situation/response from one of the staff implying we werent allowed to be in the Country. Ended up going to POINT BLANK and have been loyal customers since then.

We received excellent sales and technical service. Frank was very friendly and knowledgeable. He help me feel confident in my gun purchase and made me aware of all the other services and support Target World offers.Tyler went above to help my husband with a scope.We were very satisfied and will definitely be back.

Just took a basic handgun class with Greg and he was awesome! Our class had some serious beginners and he really made everyone feel comfortable and did a great job covering safety and handgun foundation (stance, grip, etc). Highly recommend and will be looking to take my CCW class with him.

Firearms sold here are overpriced. Bad customer service. The gunsmith acts like a know it all. Does not know what he is doing with guns. All and all a very poorly managed facility.

Took a course with Tom for the all day concealed carry course. Tom made a long day go quick through his instruction, discussion and sharing of everyday real life scenarios. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in obtaining solid information.

Have been patronizing the business for several years up until about several parts kits and keep getting incomplete kits staff is rude and refuses to exchange or replace parts I will never spend another dime or recommend this place to anyone they just sh#$y

Just left there and I honestly wanted protection for home they accused me of trying to buy one for my friend just because he was with me I had him with me because I’m not knowledgeable in this area but I wanted a nice gun and didn’t want to be taken advantage of as women ... this is their way of not selling to blacks it will be reported to the news and whom ever else went to another gun store was told we were the 4 group of blacks to come complain had to purchase from them they’re happy to service us target world would never get at dime from me

Target World is and has been my go-to gun shop and range for years, and my experiences with them recently have only served to cement that opinion! Their staff is helpful and informative, and even with all the panic buying clearing the shelves, they still managed to help me find exactly what I needed at a reasonable cost (Cant beat ten dollar twenty round Bushmaster AR mags!). They have a ten person capacity currently (4/19) due to the pandemic, and have increased overall customer safety with policies designed to limit close exposure to others. They werent rude about enforcing it either. There were a few occasions when people in the shop would cluster, looking through the various display cases, and the staff were polite yet diligent in asking them to spread, showing that they both cared for customer safety and customer service. With new gun purchases, they offer a free hour of range time, but as their ranges are closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the clerk was kind enough to extend the expiration date on my certificate, ensuring I would be able to redeem it. With competitive prices and a customer service minded attitude, Target World will continue to be my Home Base Shop for firearms and related products, though there are competing places physically closer to me.

Bought an HR37 Browning safe on an online auction before Christmas. Got it at a good price. The write up they used was for the 2015 safe and they had planned to deliver a 2014 safe. Some confusion - but they gave me the option of a 2014 safe and some extras or they would order the 2015 safe. I waited for the 2015 safe. When it arrived they put me in contact with Petes safe moving - their price on the HR37 includes 1st floor delivery. I paid Pete $50 to get it into the basement - excellent value, it was not an easy job.Pete unwraps the safe and it has the digital combo. I wanted the mechanical that was in the picture on the auction site. No worries they sent out their safe repairman and a mechanical lock was installed.I was surprised they were so accommodating when i go the safe for about $800 under their sale price. I was very pleased by the service. Pete rocks on getting a safe into your house - well worth the money.

The reason to go to Target World is for the people, and the wide selection. We went there several times this weekend and Emilee and Sasha were both very friendly and helpful! My friend made a mistake when purchasing something there, and not only did they help us when we went back, but threw in a little gift too. The store may not have the same glitz as some others, but they have more selection, which in my case turned out to be helpful. Thanks!

I went in to purchase a handgun for home defense, with an idea of what I already wanted. The rep at the gun counter was very helpful, and showed me several options for the model I was considering. Once I made my decision, he helped me with the paperwork, and then suggested some accessories for me. No hard-sell at all, but some helpful facts and advice as I made a very serious purchasing decision.He showed me the range and gave me a card for one hour free since I just made a purchase. I went ahead and scheduled a couple classes for my wife and son and look forward to returning to use the range. They took the time to explain the range rules, and offered some advice for when I chose to bring my son in (he is a minor). It was apparent that safety is paramount.When I completed my purchase, they carefully explained how to legally transport the weapon home (along with the ammo I bought), as well as how to remain legal when I returned to visit the range.I went on a weekday in the morning to avoid the rush - and it was still pretty busy. Sounds like the weekends have been crazy. The only downside was that the safe I wanted was not in stock (but coming in). I can share that I was treated with respect and had a very good experience.

Went here to buy a new safe. $2000 budget buy no one cared. No willingness to answer questions or advise. Hoping to buy today but guess theyre not interested.

WAAYYYYYYY OVER PRICED ON FIREARMS. Used guns 50 dollars less then retail price. I dont support gunshops that Rob customers out of money because of the scare going around. Beat up used silencers. 1 visited here 4 years ago. Stopped by today. Wouldnt recommend for gun shopping. Heck no. A M&P 2.0 compact 9mm pistol marked $699. Down the street $530-$599 max. People dont impulse buy.

So. I placed an order with Target World on May 10th for a Springfield Saint Victor AR Pistol in .308. I put a deposit down of $340 dollars. Its been 13.5 weeks since then with very little in the way of information. I have contacted Target World multiple times to get an update. Each time it seemed as if i was an inconvenience to them. The two times i spoke to the manager over orders in person, he literally didnt seem to care. I went in today to attempt to get a refund of my deposit since it has been 88 days and i still did not have my order. I was refused to get a full refund as Target World claims that 20% of the deposit is non refundable. They offered me $80 dollars of my money if i wanted to cancel. This non-refundable policy was never told to me when i placed the order. The policy is not on any paper i signed nor was it on the receipt i originally had. If i had known it was non refundable i would not have entered into this deal. They were flat out uncaring and unconcerned when i told them i wasnt doing business with them anymore. I would NOT recommend Target World to ANYONE for ANY reason with this kind of poor customer service.

I really want to give these guys 5 stars but i just cant. Range prices are good and rentals. But most everything else is rather high. Gun accessories, safes, guns both new and used, and just misc things around the store are on the high side. Most of the staff is nice and helpful. But the last time i went, one was rather rude. Ill probably be going back. But my first experience here was much better than the last.

I attended CCW class at target world and Tom was a great instructor. I learned a lot of info that I can use to keep myself and family safe. I also learned general info that I will use going forward to keep myself safe.

Wouldn’t refund money on a canceled order. Constant “he said, she said battle” currently disputing the charge with my bank. Do not recommend

Today I went to Target World to return a small personal gun safe. This is one you would put by the bed and store a handgun. The safe was faulty and wouldnt read the finger without a LOT of trouble. I just wanted to exchange it for one that had a combination. Target world would not do a refund or exchange. Be aware that they have a policy that no matter if it works or not, no REFUND or exchange. This is even if you return it the next DAY. I will never buy anything again from this dealer. BEWARE.

Best case scenario you will get their best customer service they offer... unfortunately that would be par customer service at places like Premier, Point Blank and 22three and you will rarely be that lucky. The upside is they have a large inventory so you can get your hands on a gun there and then go find a better price and customer service elsewhere once youve decided.... Cant count the number of times I walked into this place with cash in pocket to buy and walked out with the same. Vote with your money.

Called ahead asked about a gunsmith they said yes he was in. When I arrived I was told he stepped out that his car was here. About 20 minute later another staff member asked if he could help. I told him I was waiting for the gunsmith. He then did a snicker and someone else laughed that I would be waiting a very long time. I will never return to that store or recommend anyone...I will tell them to avoid going there.

I came in tonight to look at a gun safe, not only did I find one I liked, but I was able to get a good deal on it and the dehumidifying rod as well as a lock upgrade and electrical outlet. Anselm took very good care of me and I would recommend him for any of your Target World needs. Bob came over to help unlock the safe (someone had locked it) and he was very interactive as well. I have been buying things and renting shooting lanes here for around 10 years. One of the better places in town to get any of your firearm needs. They have a huge selection of just about everything. Heck if you go to the gun show you probably will not find a better selection of Firearms.

Good learning experience for proper hand gun training

The big guy with beard is racist. I came regularly there but I recently lost my member card and he asked me to read the rules again. I read but he said it was too fast and asked me read it one more time. I told him I was been here many times and he didn’t care. Keep asking read it over and over. He should be fired.

Just went to a great beginner gun class-highly recommend as a beginner or refresher. Gun shop has a wide variety of firearms and accessories. Range pricing includes safety equipment (ear protection - safety glasses) and the price for range time itself is great.

I visited Target World for the first time several months ago as I was in the market for a gun safe. I was greeted by Dan Ross who welcomed me like a friend and graciously assisted me in finding the right safe for my needs. He patiently answered all my questions and pointed out all the features that differentiated one safe from another. In the end, I purchased a safe and was given the name of a person who would handle the moving of the safe. The day before the safe was to be delivered; I received a call from Dan to tell me that the safe was ready to go and that the mover would be picking it up in the morning.Overall, I had an extremely positive experience and was quite impressed with Dan and Target World. They treat you with respect, value your business, and know what it takes to make a customer for life.

Gun counter staff are very quick to tell you they dont work on commission, so they dont care if you buy or not. Its an offputting statement.Guns and related paraphernalia sales rely on the spending of discretionary income.After my last 3 trips there, Im convinced they dont need or want my money.I will not be back.

As someone who is new to the world of firearms I needed a considerable amount of help: from knowing what type of handgun would be appropriate for a CWL holder to what type of ammunition is best for that firearm. Ive been in Target World a few times over the years and I know how busy it can get but one of your employees was gracious enough to take the time to help me explain some of the details I needed in order to make a more responsible decision. I believe the gentlemans name was Pete (Tall elderly chap) and I just wanted to make sure his manager knows how much this customer appreciated the Extra MileThanks Pete

Being a first time gun handler, Tony B. went above and beyond to help find the best fit for me. He took extra time to help me feel comfortable with my choice. Tony even helped me at the range to test out out my options. I wound up not getting the one I originally thought was best for me, instead after testing my options, and with Tonys help I left with confidence in my decision.

Very dishonest staff throughout this store. Their shipping department smashed my $400.00 target rifle sights. Threw away my box and shipping lables so I could not return the rifle. They would not come clean and repair or replace the broken target sights. Then they all mobbed up on me claiming the rifle was recieved with a broken sight. I will never again buy anything from this establishment. Customers need to be aware of the online reviews showing how bad Target World has been to their Customers. Very careless and irresponsible staff. They determine the condition of your purchase, damaged and mishandled. Do not give your business to this store. There are Gun Shops which prefer to do good by their Customers. Target World is not one of them. I have never been treated so poorly like this in any Gun Shop Ive been to. Take your business to a store known to have a respected reputation.

Joe, who works behind the gun counter has given me exceptional service. I rarely ever write reviews, but he took care of me and some. Very knowledgeable. He cleaned my AK right in front of me and showed me the step by step of how to do it properly. Also gave me a great deal of details on my M39 Mauser I had just purchased and knew nothing about. I have been there to buy guns/accessories and use their range in the past, but I certainly was not a loyal customer. I now am, for life.

If you need a place to figure out what gun is right for you, this is the place. Frank, Dave, and Pat were extremely patient and helpful as I tried many different guns. Plus it’s fun to shoot stuff!! Pew pew!

Seems like of lack of knowledge in the gun safe department. I felt like I knew more basic information about them then the sales reps. They didnt seem interested in helping either. Once I purchased a safe, I attempted to take advantage of the 12 month no interest financing. No one really knew how to do that, and I waited as they attempted to complete this process for over an hour, only to be told that basically no person understood how to do it (not even managers) and that we could simply wait and hope it works itself out or simply pay in full.Bottom line: Safe prices are good, service and knowledge not so much.

First time in Target world and they were busy even at 830 pm on a Saturday night. We were able to get a line with a minimal wait time. Then after we were done, a employee of target world, Peter, was nice enough to show me his unique level action rifle. Not only did he show me but he let me shoot a few rounds through it. I will definitely be back.

Really disappointed in service, had a class session that I made 2 months prior. Woke up and came to class and was waiting in the morning with the entire group only to find class had been canceled with no heads up whatsoever

Got a great deal on a used Glock 19X, younger salesman was knowledgeable and made the process easy and quick. Great selection of firearms, gun safes, and equipment.

Bought a high end pistol and price was really reasonable compared to the bigger chain gun shops in the local area Dan was a great help and sale went smoothly and also got some free range time, I only gave it a 3 star rating because the range area wasnt well lit as I has to use a flashlight to see in my range bag and it was quite chilly in the range area.. will be back due to their selection and reasonable price.. good over all experience..

Good selection and best hours of any shop, but the good news ends there. They have the worst cockiest salesmen of any shop Ive been to in the area. Spend your hard earned $$ elsewhere where they dont talk down to you and treat you like a customer.

I wasnt sure what gun I wanted to try and was a little nervous about going to the gun range to begin with. Pete was great- he explained things clearly and helped me feel comfortable. Then the owner, Joe came into the range with me and showed me how to shoot. When I left, I forgot my drivers license and Pete came out to the parking lot and found me to return it. I will definitely be back!

Target world was my first time shooting and it went perfectly. I wouldnt ask for a better experience. I went on ladies day with my friend for her birthday, it was cheap, we had a great teacher (S/O to Jeremy!!), and a great time. I would def go again.

Have had good rental and transfer experiences here. The rental rifles are a bit sketchy but any time you have a problem the staff will gladly sort it out. If youre on the range and you have any kind of mix up or want to change lanes, they help remedy the situation. Pete at the rental counter will set you up with whatever you need to get the best shooting experience. For the prices, this is a great range to rent and shoot, though coming on week days is best to avoid the most obnoxious customers. Would highly recommend renting the MP5 as well, if you havent shot a full auto now is the time.

Best place in town to hang out and get some lead therapy! I spend so much time here I feel like family. Every time Ive had any type of an issue it has been corrected. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. I have nothing but good things to say about Target World. 😁
