Yum! Everything is really good! Awesome quick lunch spot with elevated food. Grabbed lunch on a recent work trip with a team. Everyone was really impressed with their food and food envy was had across the entire table. I had the chicken salad sandwich, which was very tasty. A few people had the avocado and tomato salad and all raved about how delicious it was. Another person got the Cubano and said it was very good. The space was busy with a lot of business lunch goers, but there was enough seating to accommodate all who dined there. Nice and bright with all the windows. I’ll be back again!
After reading various reports of the excellent food to be found at Fausto my wife and I decided to drop by. What was a simple lunch turned out to be one of the best meals in memory. We shared a chicken salad sandwich, gazpacho, green beans and roasted potatoes. Every bite of each dish was perfectly balanced in flavor and texture. We are certain to return to sample more of the menu. Chef Phil Gentry is an all star!
Fantastic tomato and peach salad along with gazpacho. The taste of summer freshness and the delicate, subtle details of each ingredient enhanced the dishs beauty and taste. Thank you
Interesting, contemporary menu. The food was delicious and expertly executed by the Chef. This is a new regular lunch destination for me. I need to go back for dinner sometime.
One of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten in my life. Tried this restaurant on a whim and was amazed. Dont be put off because it is a museum cafe. The thought and talent put into the menu is stunning. I had the small roasted beet salad and the marinated pork sandwich. The hearty bread, toasted artfully, a generous portion of bibb lettuce, pork tenderloin medallions, slivers of white onion, and a fantastic tarragon mustard sauce made for the best sandwich ever!!
Best coffee in Cincinnati. Best breakfast sandwiches on insanely wonderful English muffins! Service is tip top and wonderful every visit. This is the perfect example of a nice dining experience.
Top rate. What a gem. Lunch was a bean and Kale soup and a marinated pork tenderloin sandwich on artisan bread. Fresh, bright delicious. Server was attentive friendly and knowledgeable.
An absolutely stunning display. This is a must if you are traveling through Cincinnati. I was greeted warmly as I arrived and offered a delicious cup of their cold brew. The chef himself sat with me at my table to discuss how he can prepare most menu items gluten free. It’s not often you see staffs willingness to go one on one with their guests like this. The chef himself and his staff are some of the most kind people I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with in Cincinnati.I had the Do Chua salad, Local Mushroom, and the Octopus. The salad is an explosion of flavor with a slight spice at the end. The mushrooms are beautifully savory and tender. The Octopus has been the most surprising. For anyone who’s had octopus there is a fine line to tread between undercooked and leather boot when it comes to octopus. Fausto has managed to provide me with a symphony is flavor in the form of tender octopus.I will be returning and bringing my family.Absolute 11/10. Knocked it out of the park.P.s. the cold brew is incredible.
Fausto may be one of the best casual food spots downtown. I am consistently floored by their food every time I go there. Any serious foodie needs to check out Fausto.
Outstanding!! Kudos to Owners (brothers) Tony and Austin for creating a sophisticated dining experience in Cincinnati. The menu is excellent. Ambience exceptional. Wonderful wine selection. You will not be disappointed. Congratulations to brothers Austin & Tony. Well be regulars at Fausto
Always impressed. The food is healthy, well sourced and absolutely delicious. And you won’t find a better value for the quality of food anywhere in Cincinnati. Staff are attentive and knowledgeable as well.
Looks good, feels good. The coffee, food and wine are exceptional. The Ferrari Brothers brought fresh, simple dishes full of flavor to the table - you cant go wrong, they are beautifully crafted and taste even better. Fausto has partnered with local farms, bakeries, roaster, etc., so I can assure you are getting only the absolute best.I highly recommend stopping by for a coffee on your way to work and popping in for a lunch (soon to be dinner) date so you can share a couple dishes because it is way too hard to choose just one. Now, go give them some love!
Great space with great food. Their menu includes everything you need. They have great coffee and their selection of pastries is unbelievable. Its right inside the contemporary arts center, so you have a great vibe while you eat. The staff is always great. You cant go wrong here and definitely try the breakfast sandwich.
Food was great. Service was very good. Nice cocktail menu. And walk through the contemporary art museum before dinner was nice too.
You will he hooked after the very first bite you take! The smoked white fish is to die for! Goes great with a glass of Rose! Everything is super fresh and seasonal. You will not be disappointed! Of course, I had to take my new favorite, honey latte, to go. Great new addition to downtown, Cincinnati. Cheers!
The best sandwiches, salads, everything is perfect.
We had an absolutely excellent dinner experience at Fausto. The food is exceptional: the scallops with smoked mussel aioli is next level. All of our dishes had interesting, complex, and well-balanced flavors. We will be back — SOON!
I have had the pleasure of having both lunch and dinner at Fausto and the one thing I can say is that the food is quality. The service is good as well and the atmosphere is really nice inside the CAC. My only knock on the place is that I think the price may be a little high for the food, especially considering the other options you can eat at around downtown. Overall, this is a great place to check out.
Totally amazed with the talent of the chefs and staff. Tables were full and the staffs ability to attend to all the little details of our table and our needs were second to none. You truely felt they were your personal staff. All we can say about the food was, it was an experience that we havent experienced in North America. Faustos is setting the standard that competitors better pay attention too.
Interesting, eclectic dining experience in a fun atmosphere. The food was super interesting and very tasty, although small portions. Love the focus on local. Limited vegetarian.
Fausto has been a welcome newcomer to the Downtown Cincinnati scene from Day One. Im a proud supporter of their team who work so hard to craft food with substance and a vision for clean eating. Their coffee bar has also become my favorite around the 3 pm hour when the caffeine is needed to get through the day. For lunch, I love the Farro Salad with Confit Tuna, and for dinner I often choose their many seafood options (Scallops or the Vongole con Spaghetti). Make sure to give this restaurant a try, you wont be disappointed sitting in the lobby of the CAC, designed by Zaha Hadid.
Just wanted to let you know that I ordered the Confit Tuna Sandwich today for lunch, and I specifically asked how the tune was prepared. The waiter, Noah B. went into the details of the preparation of the tuna, and when I specifically asked if the tuna was served rare, our waiter, Noah B. confirmed it was. But to my surprise it was not which was very disappointing and was not as expected or confirmed. I am sharing this so that you ensure he does not communicate incorrectly to anyone else today.
Service leaves a great deal to be improved. Friday 8:30 am instead of offering a possible solution to two potential customers of a cup of coffee and a croissant while they waited for 9 am OPENING FOR BREAKFAST, barista did none of those. She said no breakfast until 9 and went back to talking to her three customers at the bar. Sunday a cappuccino hadnt been begun being made after waiting 10 minutes. Restaurant wasnt busy. Cappuccino was canceled.
Congrats to Tony, Jamie, Austin, and the rest of the staff here! Theyve accomplished some superbly flavorful and unique food, and the commitment to local ingredients is wonderful. Well done all. Well be back!
Interesting menu, light and airy, connected to Museum. Friendly staff. Quiet enough to talk and busy enough to create a buzz.
Ive been here several times for breakfast and or lunch and its consistently terrific. (Avacado toast is amazing.) This is my first time for dinner. Wow! First, the wine list is very diverse in varietals and price. You rarely see wines of this quality on restaurant wine lists in Cincinnati. The service, presentation, and most importantly, the food, are all exceptional. This is NOT to be missed. Well be back - repeatedly.
Everything about this place is absolutely awesome! Food is great and the staff is the best part!! Make sure to follow their Instagram for some really good food pics!
This restaurant is definitely one of my new favorites in downtown Cincinnati. I recently took my brother who was in from out of town and we were both wowed by the service and the food, as well as the coffee. We both got the maple wood cold brew, which was absolutely perfect for a hot summer day. I got the baked eggs, and found the portion size to be just enough to the point where I felt full. In addition the the amazing food and great service, the general atmosphere was welcoming and kind. The owners, Austin and Tony took the time to come over to the table and talk to us, a nice touch that not many people do. Overall, a great experience, 10/10 would recommend this place if you are looking for a place to find something new.
Great attention to detail. Great upscale yet not pretentious place. Br
Fried egg sando is delish. Flavored coffees were well made and not overpowering. Drip coffee was solid. Great prices for what you get
My server recommended the avocado toast after hearing Id never had it before and it did not disappoint. It was excellent.
Very contemporary. Great coffee. Nice hangout downtown.
A culinary gem in the cultural heart of the city, Fausto curated a gallery of flavors that delighted everyone in our group. Creative cocktails, perfect pairing of wine with artfully plated morsels of delectability, exceptional service. Can’t wait to come back for another taste of the cavatelli. Try it, it will change your life.
Very nice ambiente. The menu is very original and well executed. Service is friendly. Definitely worth it to stop in and enjoy. The potato & egg is in quotes for good reason...its white cream as the egg white and yellow roe as the yoke! Very clever and very nice. Also had the warm mortadella sandwich... excellent.
Avocado toast is probably the best Ive had anywhere.
Myself and a three others came to Fausto for dinner after seeing The Lion King. We had heard great things about their food, and were excited to try it out. The space itself is wonderful in the Contemporary Art Museum - Its upscale, but not stuffy. The service we received was matched this, and we very much appreciated that. I have been wanting to try this place out for Brunch, but their dinner menu looked enticing enough to give it a try.We knew that we wanted to order a bottle or two of wine, and their wine list did not disappoint. Their sommelier gave us a great breakdown of what options we would like, and even let us taste a few. I really appreciate this, especially when you are forking out quite a bit for a bottle, and when there are too many options to choose from! Not a bad thing :)As for the food, we all opted for the three courses for $39 (a great deal in my book). We started out with the grilled country bread that had an insane butter compote. I got the Mizuna Salad to start, and it was extremely unique and delicious. For my main dish I had the Scallops, which were cooked to perfection. I loved the earthiness of the accompaniments, and really enjoyed the whole dish. I tried my friends Salmon, which was delicious as well (and I am a person who is typically over salmon). For dessert, I had the chocolate tart, which was extremely rich and decadent. I also tried my friends Apple dessert, which was basically a deconstructed apple crumble - very good as well. My friend also ended her meal with a perfect coffee, another element telling me I need to come back for brunch (I know these guys pour a good capp as well at their Ferrari Bros coffee space).Overall, we had a wonderful evening here. We appreciated the service, their attention to detail in both the food and drinks, and the unique ambiance. Their dishes themselves were also beautiful - from the coffee mug to the dinner plate. This is something I hardly notice when I go to a restaurant, and I loved that they made their own for the space. We will be back, and next time for brunch!
Great wine, coffee, and healthy food. So happy they elevated downtown Cincinnatis food quality options.
Very modern restaurant with a fancy light display. We had the fresh caesar salad and a broccolini apt. I had a superb freeh linguini and clam dish. Our we main courses were beef cheeks with roasted onions and potatoes very good, wealso had a pork dish with roasted carrot spaetzle the pork wad a little chewy but it might of been the vut we had.Overall the whole experience was outstanding
Nice atmosphere, good food.
Original delicious food beautifully prepared and presented.
Good place for dinner, better place for lunch!
Amazing fresh, seasonal food, the best egg sammich, and solid service from this new spot. Cant wait for them to be open for dinner.
Fantastic job on everything! So much love in everything you bring to the table.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I’ll be back time and time again!! 😋
Chic restaurant with fresh farm to table fares and innovative cocktails. Check it out.
We love this place for a snack with wine

Loved it!!!!!! 😍
