We had excellent service from Erin @ the Florence location. She showed my son what it was like to be fitted for a pair of running shoes. She taught him important things about running and the shoes. My son is 13 and has shown an interest in running to help with his conditioning for soccer. He is excited to run his first 10k. There was some confusion with an on line order I placed - so there was a delay in my order. My shoes were delayed and I was scheduled to go out of town. When the shoes came in - Karen delivered them to my house with a lovely handwritten apology note. That’s what I call great customer service! I won’t hesitate to make another purchase..

Tristate is one of my favorite local stores. They cater to a multitude of customers, not just runners. Ive had family members pick up different types of footwear as well.Ultimately, great store, great staff, and great running groups!

Great service and shoe quality .

I was told to go to Tri State company for inserts or they could help me out w a good shoe and answer any questions.I walked in to the store, was approached w a hi. I said hi back and nothing else was said. I said I was sent here to get help w my high arch and wanted some good advice on shoes.I requested a pair of shoes in two sizes 7.5 and 8, the lady (Corina) handed me a 8.5. I said that’s a 8.5 I need a 7.5 or 8. She gave the shoe back and said that’s an 8.5 and I said yes I need a 7.5 or 8. She quickly said you requested an 8 or 8.5.I’ve never worn a 8.5 so not sure why I would have requested a 8.5.So then she came back w a 7.5 in a completely different shoe and stood there w her arms crossed. Never once help me w any questions.I read the reviews before going to the store and was excited to get a new pair of walking shoes which I did purchase, that are very comfortable.I did NOT get the service that others raved about. I hope there are cameras and that a store manager will review her actions.I will return the shoes and go to another store. The more I thought about the attitude I received and the money I spent I decided maybe someone else would actually work w me and give me the service I am looking for to buy the shoes that I need for my feet.

Very nice and help people. If this is your first time purchasing fitted running shoes be sure to bring your old shoe as it helps them match you up. Ive purchased both pavement and trail running shoes here, however, their trail running selection is quite small. Over all very friendly and helpful would highly recommend getting your running shoes here.

I had a great experience getting a proper fitting for shoes and inserts. Im a beginning walker but was treated very well by the young lady in store. She spent roughly 40 minutes explaining why my heals were hurting and we found out Ive been wearing shoes 2 sizes too small. What a difference it is to have a professional help you find the shoe you need!

I had my first experience with Tri State Running company during the Flying Pig marathon in Cincinnati earlier this year. I wanted a light weight running shoe and some essentials for the race. As soon as I walked into the store, I was greeted and had someone available to talk to and answer questions. The customer service was excellent! For an experienced runner who wants the right information and the right advice on what to buy - this is definitely the place to go!

Today my husband and I went in to see if they carried a pair of shoes I saw online. We were promptly greeted by a salesperson who was helping another customer. A few minutes later, another salesperson came out to help me. He asked me what I was looking for and I told him I was looking for a pair of shoes I saw online. He asked me the name of them and I told him that I only remembered the brand and that I didnt think Id seen them on display. At this point, he started kicking things around on the floor (i.e. the measuring tool and boxes of shoes) and became completely disengaged. I continued to look at the other shoes for a minutes and decided to leave. Not sure if he was upset because his coworker left a mess or if he was upset because he didnt think I was going to make a purchase, or maybe not upset at all, just preoccupied, but thats poor customer service, especially if youre getting ready to drop $110-$200 on pair of shoes. Gave it a 3-star rating related to a previous purchase for my son. The young lady who helped us with that purchase was amazing.

I have been coming to Tri-state running company for a couple of years now and I cannot say I have once had a bad experience here. The staff at Tri-State Running Company know running shoes and running accessories. The first time I walked in the store, I had no clue what I was looking for but they got me setup up with properly fitting, good, and reasonably priced running equipment. Several pairs of Brooks and other accessories later I am still loyal to Tri-State running company as I prepare to take on several races in the coming months.

So impressed with this store. I finally found the perfect shoe. The staff is just great.

Overpriced on just about everything.We joined a running group there, and even with the 10% discount they offered the group, we rarely bought anything there besides an occasional snack.They dont carry larger sizes in shoes.The equipment that runners think is necessary can be bought cheaper at most department stores, or online.

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The apparel is a bit over priced, but very trendy.
