These folks are great. My wife and I were first-time gun purchasers and Andrew and his wife (Im sorry, I didnt get her name) were both patient and really informative. Initially they told us how to register for our permits. When we returned, we got a really good deal on an AR-15 (the Smith & Wesson deal comes with a lot of cool accessories) and a 9 MM. Its a little bit of a bummer to have to wait in the hall while others are in the store, but thats just the way things are right now. Regardless, there are currently a bunch first-time buyers. Ive never had a bad experience here, Andrew & Melissa are knowledgeable good people, the prices on the firearms are fair, and the smiting services are more than fair. I havent tried out the cerkote service yet but I intend to. The only other thing I can say is ammo prices can sometimes be a bit high, but it is a selection of high quality ammo.

Ive purchased several things from them in the past. I stopped by yesterday to see if something was in stock. Its wasnt in stock and i ended up getting it online.I was pleasantly surprised the next day when she called me and told me they would be receiving some stuff i was looking for.I havent purchased anything in a few months, but she remembered my name and number and called me. Visited several times as a first time purchaser. I had many questions about various firearms and ammo and each one was answered or I was informed where online to get a proper answer. Folks there are patient and helpful. There will be future visits.

I am a first time handgun owner. A friend suggested I go to Legacy so I did some research, found them on Instagram. Once they posted a pistol I liked I began to inquire about it. Melissa was very helpful with limited capacity due to social media. So I decided to go into the store to look/purchase the firearm.Getting to the store can be a little weird at first as its located in a business complex but I was willing to look past that. NOTE: were still in covid so they only allow one person/party at a time.Once I got into the store Melissa was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the firearms in the store and more importantly the laws of firearms in NJ.I went ahead and purchased the pistol and she ran me though the process of having to wait for the background check/permit to be approved. She told me that she assumed I would be approved within the day, I was prepared to wait a week knowing the times we are currently in. Low and behold a few (not even 2) hours later she contacted me. I didnt answer my phone as I was busy so she left a voicemail. The best part is, she even went the extra mile and contacted me via Instagram DMs where I had inquired previously.That was awesome and so very thoughtful of Melissa. I look forward to future endeavors with Legacy!

Here is my short version of my experience.Melissa has thin skin and Andrew,Someone once told me, referring to a fellow worker,Give a man a little Authority and he thinks he’s a General… That’s AndrewI’m sure Melissa remembers what she said from the start of our conversation and how insulting and condescending she sounded, Andrew who was not there said I owe Melissa an apology, not sure why but for argument sake I did just that, I apologized. Melissa however did not since it began with her. Melissa made a big deal out of my not knowing the model number of the firearm I purchased and stated among other things, said, you don’t know what firearm you purchased, then said do you see how many firearms we have here, I told her the name of the firearm but not good enough, while there may have been a lot only ONE had my name on it. If there was or is a specific reason for knowing the model then Melissa should have explained nicely, she did not. She seemed taken back when I repeated my name and not the model.Andrew made it a point to say Melissa would have been within her rights to call the police and have me removed. Well, I guess he told me…

As a first time buyer, I felt really taken of. I know there are two folks that run the shop, but I have only dealt with Melissa and she was great! She answered all my questions, and filled me in on info I need to know and explained why I needed to know it. I stopped in three times before making my purchase, and Melissa was super patient with me and my questions, and was not pushy as I was making my decision; even though its definitely a sellers market, I got the sense that this how these folks normally operate.My recommendation, especially if you are a novice or first time buyer, remember that these folks know what they are doing, and be open to their knowledge and experience...it will benefit you greatly! These folks will be my spot for future firearms purchases.

This place is located inside a professional office building (i.e. doctors offices) and thus there isnt a range here. They were planning to have one initially at a different location before deciding to open here. They could have picked a better location for just a store, as there are plenty of empty strip mall shops in Cinnaminson.Due to Covid, only one person is allowed inside, so people tend to form a snake line around the whole floor trying to get in. It can get cramped in there.Of all of the gun stores in nearby South Jersey, this one has the shortest store hours. If you work from 9-5, then youll find out that they also close at 5. They are open on Saturdays though.They do update ammo availability and it is shown on the door, so one doesnt have to wait in line for it.Also, the staff of two inside choose not to wear masks...

I highly recommended them if youre looking for a no nonsense place to handle your firearm needs. When i first started going there i was a little uncomfortable because they can come off as a little short of patience, but with the climate of things and dealing with volume of people who are indecisive at times will do that in this current market. Melissa is very helpful and polite, her partner andrew is very knowledgeable.They are all about business and I like that they keep their word when doing business.

I was trying to find a firearm store close to home for my dad that offered reasonable prices. I wanted to explore different options, and I found my perfect match the same day I googled this place. When I went in to look at different firearms both the gentleman and lady were very welcoming and friendly. I was accommodated and felt very comfortable to ask questions on behalf of my interest without feeling any reluctant expression. Their service I would define as quality, very quick and efficient. Had no concerns. Definitely my go to place for any further purchases. Hope to see them open a gun range soon.

Never Go here for transfers (FFL)!! They are lost in the sauce, never can get their things straight. Andrew is just another guy who will treat his customers with no respect. Just a guy who will sound like his wasting his life just talking to you.

As everybody knows it is very hard to get a handgun in New Jersey right now with everything going on in the world. Highly recommend Legacy...I was a first time buyer in May 2020 and felt overwhelmed/nervous with understanding the laws, variety of products, permit process, etc. Melissa and Andrew put me at ease as they were professional, knowledgeable and patient. They will answer any questions and really try to match you with products that fit your needs and skill level.I went back to Legacy recently for my second firearm. Although they didn’t have what I wanted in stock, Melissa and Andrew gave me info on how to find it online, things to watch out for when purchasing online and the FFL transfer process. After I found and purchased the firearm online, the seller told me he couldn’t send the magazines (approx $90 worth) because they were high capacity (15 rds) and illegal in NJ. Melissa didn’t hesitate to get the seller on the phone to make sure I would receive everything that I was entitled to. The mags were sent and Legacy was able to bring the magazines in compliance with NJ law. They are definitely passionate about your rights and will fight for their customers.

A little hard to find at first because I did not realize they were inside an office building and on the 2nd floor, but they were well worth finding. Nice, knowledgeable people willing to take the time to help inform and teach me about all the options I should be considering when I was not yet sure what I really wanted in a handgun. I went here one time and my first experience was great. I called in on 06-02-2020, I asked for Glock 19 magazine pricing and the cheapest box of 38 special ammo. The guy gave me pricing on the magazine, I asked again about the ammo again he said Im not giving pricing on ammo right now. This gentleman had absolutely no issue screaming across the room to ask pricing for the Glock magazine. I made sure I asked both questions in the beginning of the conversation to make it easy. This is going on during the pandemic when most gun shops are by appointment I expect to know what Im getting before I come. It kind of made me upset because the pricing was good but I dont do business with people like that. Ive trained people in sales and customer service for 13 years and thats not how you conduct business. Youre in the business of people and good relationships are free promotion.In response to the owner below I was given a price on the magazine then got an attitude about the ammo. I asked two questions short sweet and to the point. I teach my people a phone call could be an opportunity for a face to face that can turn into a long-term relationship. Everyone should have aquality experience not just the customers that can potentially pay you at that moment. One of the biggest flaws in running a business is focusing on one thing so much you lack in other important areas. Tunnel vision has been the death of many companies. I would suggest you find a way to delegate time/ duties better and maybe read a few sales books. Youre the only gun shop Ive dealt with that has this Policy. My one review is a drop in the bucket and complaints are a dime a dozen. To be fair Ill give you three stars. Finally when running a business learn to control your emotions. Whether the customer is in the right or wrong the underling agitation in your response is a bad look publicly for potential clients. I sincerely wish you guys the best.

Brought a jammed Glock in. Owner was friendly and professional; agreed on 1-day turnaround but managed to get it done in hours. The only problem is too long a wait (each customer took ~30 minutes) with social distancing. Very clean and niche place; will definitely visit again for gunsmithing.

The person I spoke to was friendly and helpful, answering all my questions. Legacy is brand new and like any business is going to go through some growing pains as demand increases. It is not fair to give them a poor review and sink their rating average without even giving them a fair shot at correcting your grievance.

Legacy is always fast to respond. Their prices are competitive and you never get that feeling that you aren’t welcome like at some other firearm dealers I’ve been to before.
