Best gun store Ive visited, as a new gun owner the people that work here are so helpful, especially Mani he is the man to see anwsers my question and helped me pick out the perfect beginner gun. Everyone here customers and workers are so kind and welcoming. Best of all they have good inventory for the vendors they have you should find something to fit your means or call they will help. Make sure you have time to spare when you come they are busy due to demand. I will recommend this store to everyone I know, Thank you again Mani/ Sa Black Riffle staff you all rock!!!🙂

First time here! Even through the line is long we waited about 30 minutes, but the worker was really nice. I was so afraid from however said they have really bad attitude, but it turned out everyone was just doing their work and they are friendly people! Good guns store.

Just recieved the best customer service at SBR yesterday. I called two other shops regarding some trouble I was having with one of my Glock slides and neither wanted to help unless I planned on paying $40 to look at it. I brought it by SBR (unannounced) and Tyler was able to fix the problem within a few minutes time and didnt charge me a dime. These guys know how to treat the 2A community and I will continue to buy my goods from them every timeThanks SBR

My father and I spent 15 minutes standing at the cash register and asking for help. The store staff never acknowledged our presence, so we put our items back and walked out. We will not be back.

This place is great. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I’ve purchased here myself and I’ve also already sent over 6+ people to purchase from them. I’ve driven around to a lot of the local gun stores and this place is the best. Inventory is low everywhere, and they’re busy.... so just wait your turn and be courteous and understand they are doing the best they can with all the craze right now. This is definitely my go to gun store.

Waited in line for over 20 minutes to get in and they didn’t have what we were waiting for - simple gun oil for cleaning. What a waste of time. No point in going back... ever. Too bad because I’ve given this place a LOT of business over the years. No one even came out to ask people waiting in line if they have what they’re waiting for. How hard is that? It’s clear this place no longer cares about their customers. I strongly suggest you go elsewhere.

Staff were awesome to work with, and the best selection of guns in a very scarce market. Prices were fair, and I would definitely go back to this shop. Highly recommended, and I see why. I knew what I was looking for, but if you dont just ask the staff and they would be happy to assist you.

Attempted to order a gun and they supposedly put me on a list and would call when one became available. I called them in 2 weeks after not hearing from them, they had no list with my name on it. I returned a few months later, same story over again. They dont need any business so they dont care about you. They may be good at guns but not dealing with the public. Wont go back and will take my business elsewhere.

I bought my AR just after California’s Dictator shut everything down. Their prices are great the service was AMAZING. Even though only 2 customers were allowed in the store at a time they did a great job of dealing with the lines and not sacrificing customer service. Chase was the gentleman who helped with my purchase and pick up. I’ve purchased guns at other places or been with my husband when he has purchased guns. Sacramento Black Rifle was absolutely the best gun buying experience I’ve had. As long as I live in this awful state it is the only place I will purchase guns.

I was in line outside and it was near closing. They stayed open and I bought the last AR they had. Great price. They were very nice even though we ended up finishing paperwork nearly 40 minutes after they closed.Second gun I’ve bought from them. Great price and great customer service. Which is rare these days.

Just what I’d expect in a well-equipped black rifle (and handgun) store.

Alex took care of me. Haven’t purchased in CA since coming back from active duty. Simplified the process for me, and made it easy to purchase. Don’t be discouraged to get in and buy a gun.

Staff seemed a little clueless and immature or just got done smoking some grass. Selection is good.

I called the store first to see if they carried the holster I’m looking for. No answer. I left a message and no call back. I stopped in to look and I was the only one in the store. With three people at the counter not one of them asked me if I needed help or even greeted me as I stood there looking through the holsters. The whole time they were just sitting there making fart jokes.

REVIEW EDIT AUG 2021:Just bought a new Daniel Defense rifle. Had great, friendly service from Tyler as he explained differences between various models so I could weigh any pros and cons and pick one that fit my needs. This is my second firearm purchase here and have been here multiple other times for ammo, accessories, etc. I have had nothing but excellent customer service.To comment again on the bad reviews, I’m not sure why people seem to be commenting on the customer service. Maybe they’re all a bunch of Karens with unrealistic expectations? I’m pretty friendly and easy going and I tend to move slowly and ask a lot of questions. Not a single employee has ever been rude or short with me in any ways. So take these reviews with a grain of salt. I’ve had nothing but great experiences here.ORIGINAL REVIEW SEPT 2020:Was just here the other day to source parts for my first AR-15 build. The staff was patient and helpful every step of the way as I chose parts from their selection. It was busy, but I had the opportunity to chat with at least 4 or 5 employees. Customer service excellent ! I went in there on a Monday around 11 a.m . They helped me right away asked me multiple times if I needed assistance . I was honestly looking and trying to scope out the inventory and the way they treated me as a customer made me want to purchase multiple firearms and that’s exactly what I did. Waited for 55 minutes outside due to unnecessary Covid occupancy rules. Finally, was let in only to find poor inventory in AR parts. Outrageous prices, poor selection, and useless Covid restrictions. Don’t waste your time here, I recommend Turners Outdoorsman or NorCal Gun Vault for better selection, prices, and service.

Nate the store manager made an attempt at removing my staked Castle nut on my AR15 but he turned it the wrong way. He couldnt understand why it wouldnt unscrew. He suggested I use a hack saw to cut it off.I took it to Dane at Just Guns and he confirmed that indeed the nut had been torqued tighter beyond the factory stake points and nondestructive removal was now impossible. What black rifle are they talking about?

Was looking to purchase many accessories for my first Rifle but I had to disassemble my gun an only able to bring one part in or was threatened to be kicked out. It also defeated the purpose of buying attachments for it. I usually bring my guns locked into other stores and have them inspect it without any problems. Overall they could have been more helpful.

Being a first time gun owner they went over exactly how to use the gun aswell as show me the best options. Even with the low handgun inventory( due to current events) i still found a great gun to go to the range with. I will be back for sure

Very Upset with All staff! Purchased a Hand Gun and Was told the first day that i will be receiving 2 mag’s instead of 1. Which of course is a plus and a 50$ mag but then after purchasing and going back after 11 days i was told that it doesn’t have a second mag and that it would be more because i would have to purchase it. Long story short. Wont be back! Felt more scammed to purchase it from them then anywhere else “forsure comes with a second mag. Wont be back.

Really nice shop and friendly staff. As you can probably guess by their name, their selection tends to focus on AR/tactical style guns. Good selection of handguns, but not as many rifles as I would have thought. If youre looking for tactical style guns or accessories, this place is worth a visit.

Good selection with high prices. Their customer service is not good. Was in there for a good 10 minutes standing at the counter without even an acknowledgement. There were only a few people in there, but the staff couldnt even say hi or welcome, someone will be with you shortly. So I just left, and I wont be back. Ill take my business to Sacramento Armory.

-2 stars because they carry 30 round ak mags but dont sell them? Great prices for ammo and they have a great selection of guns. They arent those type of people that will only carry one type of guns because thats what they like. Great variety of guns.

I went in to check out .40 & .45 handguns in stock if any. Little skinny bearded guy behind the counter was rude and a complete jerk to my wife and I. Not to mention way overpriced. We wont ever set foot near there again.

Fast service. Most knowledgeable with friendly staff. Willing to answer any questions without feeling disrespect for lack of knowledge. Black Rifles and Pistols are their specialty but you can place an order on any CA legal gun not in stock. Not a large shop but I feel its the Best shop in town!

They tried to sell me a nerf gun and said it was a Ghost gun with 35 round maximum FPS per mag... i wasn’t born yesterday.

Poor customer service. They told us to wait outside until they come and grab us. Waited for 15 minutes and saw several people going in and getting service. Taking our business somewhere else.

The last time I went there, was to get a part for an AR build that was out of stock. I ended up getting online for like 40% less. While I was there, I asked the kid working the counter if they could order a revolver for me. He immediately shot me down saying he didnt think it was on the roster. Revolvers arent semiautomatic, one of the defining features of the roster, like the first one. Rather than take a second to look into it, or, know the law like would be beneficial to his job. He decided to argue with me instead of attempt to sell me something. Turners is gonna put this joint out of business, and nobody will be surprised. They delete their negative reviews on Facebook, a telltale sign of a good business practice lol

I had some questions about private gun transactions. I called the store and spoke with Cameron. He gave me all the info I needed and more. Told me what forms I need, how much fees were, etc. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I will use them for future transactions no doubt about it!

The small guy with the dirty beard was a total @$$hole. I have been wanting to check out the store for months and when I finally get off of work early to check it out the guy was rude and  didnt want to assist me. I have served in the Army for the last 14 and a half years with two deployments and I was even in uniform. I was losing my patience with this little man and decided to leave. I will not give this store my business. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone at all unless you are pleasured by dirty bearded little men being rude. Had to say it again.

Terrible experience with this company. I have never had an issue before until now. I will never shop here again.I bought some cross armory parts to comply with California ignorance law. They did not fit my firearm properly. It made my upper and lower sloppy. I removed the parts that did not fit. When i went to return them 3 days after purchasing. They told me all sales are final even though its the wrong parts.Now I own $230 worth of useless parts. Even tho the manufacturer reached out to them to give them an RMA.According to the owner its not his problem even though his guys recommend the parts.

Gun stores are really not known for having good customer service and Sacramento Black Rifle is a 50/50 shot. If you find the right employee they are amazing, I have had great experiences being well taken care of and come back to spend more money... I have also found the wrong employees who basically ignored me and were annoyed they had to work while at work. Overall mid range service. Prices are generally high, but if you watch the sales you can get a good deal.

I went in to Sacramento Black Rifle Sunday with my cousin, he was looking for a 9mm for home defense and to carry when he gets his concealed carry permit. He didnt know which handgun he wanted, so he asked the opinion from Chris. For being a young man he knows his stuff, he gave his honest opinions and showed my cousin and myself several different makes and models to choose from. He took Chriss advice and bought the Glock 19, Im sure he will be happy with his purchase, and I will be going back next weekend for the AK Ive been trying to find for the past year. Thank you again guys, you made what could have been a nightmare to one of the best gun buying experiences Ive had yet.

Came in to buy a accessories for my rifle. No one tried to help finally got someone to help and all the can say is that there out of it even though there website says it has 15 on hand. So I started looking at there inventory they are definitely overpriced then one of the employees told me to move my truck because I double parked (my crew cab 8 dually).by they way the whole parking lot was empty. I just felt unwelcome and they just wanted me out of the store.

We picked up our weapon today and Nate helped us with the transaction. By far the best in the business. HIGHLY recommended fir any gun needs.

I only went here one time. The two employees I actually talked with never even looked at me and acted like I was interrupting there day. Even the guy at the cash register never said a word and just slid my item across the counter at me before walking away. The prices were nothing special, about the same as everyone else. Im a big 2nd amendment person so I all for owning guns. I do want to say that Everytime Ive been in there the employees are very rude. They act as if you are actually bothering them. I have to laugh and tell them that you lost my business because of that one thing. Sad.

Ive only been here once and I wont go back or recommend this place to anyone. I came in looking for a specific AR part but no one acknowledged me when I walked in. There was only 1 other customer, who was being helped, so its not like they were busy. Since I was being ignored I walked around looking at their ridiculously high priced inventory. A couple other people came in separately and were talked to right away. I finally had to just ask if they had what I was looking for since I didnt see it - I was rudely told that they didnt have it and the guy tried to recommend a different part which wasnt even compatible! On top of their poor service, the way they act on Facebook is immature, unprofessional and all for (negative) attention which they think is funny.

Went there asking if they will be able to transfer the gun from another state, which I recently won on Gun Broker on line auction and they said yes for $100.00 plus tax plus some other expenses. I checked a few other places around and found that I can get it for $25 - $35 price range. When I told those guys about it the response was - fine, just go there. I found it kind of rude and very unprofessional. Never will come back to this store again even its located literally across the street of my house.

Been here before and all of the guys here were knowledgeable on whatever topics and questions that I brought up.

Where to start? Ive purchased firearms from them in the past and didnt hesitate to come back. I convinced my son who is active duty military to drive 2 hours to purchase his handgun from them the same day I bought a rifle. The 10 days till by and we go to pick them up. My gun was ready, there was a delay on his. Probably not their fault but I cant leave a comment for the State. Anyways, the store failed to call him to advise there was a delay and he made the drive for no reason. They admitted fault but only got a sorry. Then while reviewing this DROS they realized they put his wrong address in. They again admitted their mistake but said they have to re-run the DROS and there will be another charge. Not wanting to deal with the drive he asked for a refund, after talking to the manager they agreed, with a $50 restocking fee. Customer service was garbage, I will not be back.

I called on the phone to get a couple of simple questions answered, not sure who I talked to but the guy was extremely rude and disrespectful. Looks like I wont be going in to get parts!!!

Bad customer service, I’m not looking for a specific gun and voiced my opinion but the sales person thought he knew everything and ignored me. I wanted a savage 24v in either a 222, 223, 243 or something bigger than a 22lr. All the sales person wanted was a sku number, I tried explaining what I wanted but he didn’t want to heat what I wanted.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend this store to my friends and family members.

I saw a Bravo Company AR pistol on the wall, and nowhere was there anything signifying blue label only. No tag, no sticker, no blue band on the gun. In hindsight I should have asked an associate when I was there, but I went home and decided to call and ask about the pistol. The guy on the phone was very abrupt and rude about my question, I asked if the AR pistol was for sale and he immediately acted as if my question was asking if he can fly me to the moon. Once he stopped stumbling over himself he sharply asks aRe YoU lAw EnFoRcEmEnT and I said no sir I am not and he proceeds with then I cannot sell it to you. Im not annoyed with the outcome of the conversation but rather, Im annoyed with how he presented himself. Ive managed a small business for a few years and if any of my employees acted like that on the phone no matter how busy they were, they would get a warning. Train your employees to deal with customers more welcomingly or fire them. Its not rocket science

I bought a sure fire pressure pad assembly from them while i was on vacation from Washington state. So once they bagged it i didnt take a second glance until I got home this week. I didnt realize it had been opened already, which would have been no big deal except it doesnt work. Im assuming someone returned it for the same issues. Ontop of it not working I was charged 95 dollars for it which is crazy considering when I went to a few other stores here in Spokane just browsing and they are only 79.99. If you want high prices and products that dont work or have been used and re sold as new shop here.

They are dishonest, STAY AWAY. They moved their store due to a dispute with the City of Rocklin. They did not tell me and did not refund the fees for the purchase. That is unfair. I tried to get a refund since they could not deliver and they refused to refund back my fees - even though the new fees were because of their own decision to move their store. First the owner told me it was a restocking fee, then someone else told me it was because the federal fees could not be refunded, but THEY could, they just did not want to. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Line was short. Only one person in line and they would not let me and my brother in law do the firearm safety certificate test. Guy there said that we would have to commit to buying a firearm with them. Isn’t the first step I need is to get the certificate and look/research what gun I want?
