We at Rose of Sharon Flower Shop were honored to make the flower arrangement for the Queens table. We have made the flowers for the court for several years. And provided Peace Lily plants for the main stage, free of charge. The arrangement for the food table we created was lovely if I say so myself! We wish you all good luck with the event.Sincerely,Shawna Patterson, Sandra Patterson & everyone at Rose if Sharon Flower Shop, Clarksburg, WV
I look forward to it every year! Some only go to see the main event on Saturday, but to get the true feel of the festival, you have to be there during the day on Friday. Thats when the true spirit of the festival is on display. Do yourself a favor and dont miss this. You never know what you might see.
Its the best festival North central West Virginia Great vendors with food Plus the entertainment is superior
PSA: EAT BEFORE YOU GO!!! There are a lot of vendors, some unique and some of the standard ones. There was a huge section of bouncy houses and blow up activities for little ones and the band was awesome!!! But seriously, I would not eat anything here again if you paid me!!! Except maybe the boiled, box pasta which was the closest they came to Italian food.
Amazing festival! I go every year. Super fun for family. Great variety of yummy food. Awesome activities for kids and even a little carnival.
My first visit from 200 miles away.Quite impressed with the music/performers & stage placement. Music never stopped which kept crowd in the mood to stay. Clarksburg has some interesting architecture as well.Quite a few vendors. Bit pricey $6 for an iced water and 1 (one) cut lemon. But reasonable for $3 drinks. $12 for an Italian sausage. Anyone who missed the hand penned temp tattoos and shield artwork missed out. But i didnt go there to eat, although we reserved appetite for Muriales later that evening.Stopped at the Looking Glass Consignment store...picked an awesome WV clock.Only improvement I would suggest that would have kept me there longer...is place a bench or 2 on sidewalk for each block or 2. People with arthritis cannot stand/walk as long as they used to.
Great food activities and fun for the family if you can tolerate the huge crowds.
Im only reviewing the pasta cookoff. Some amazing food! Just sampling the different entries adds up to a huge lunch. Very chaotic lines but most everyone was quite friendly
Lots of food to try! I enjoy coming back to Clarksburg every year for the festival.
Great if youd like a bit of an Italian experience of food and music. However, its lacking in culture. There is a lack of personal space or structure, lines to get any food flow into the line of people trying to get through the festival. The childrens section was miserable, it was a small stage and the performances looked uncomfortable in all senses of the word. Also, I think there was a lack of proper security or police concern. I seen a few teens getting a hold of alcohol and the police who were there for security reasons just overlook it.
Only place in the world to get pepperoni rolls with sauce an cheese that will have you begging for more. Plus all the other southern United States Italian foods.
Its okay if youre young and like to drink. Daytime activities are more family oriented. Great food!
Very busy, high prices, but fun to go to .
Extremely fantastic festival that has authentic, savory italian food that will be sure to make you salivate just from smelling the sweet aroma of meatball hoagies.
Thus festivalis all about being able to get drunk in public and people thinking they can fight each other. Thus isnt a good place expecially for families and kids. If you go there after dark be aware!!!
Labor Day weekend this is always on my to do list for sure. Bring your friends and family to hear the music, eat the food and find yourself transported to Italy.
Great food and entertainment and very family friendly!!
Food was great. Rain not bad dodging umbrellas nightmare
A terrific opportunity to celebrate a storied Appalachian immigrant experience
My first time here saw Journey live was amazing great atmosphere
Losing people and merchants over past few years but still okay I guess.
