Stop by this place whenever Im in Clarksdale. Great merch and Cat Head is a wealth of blues knowledge especially concerning the local area. Hes also an author. My wife bought one of his books and loved it!

First pace to stop when you get to Clarksdale. Find out where the best music is for the week, pick up some CDs or vinyl, and get some souvenirs.

Perhaps almost a museum of folk art and blues history masquerading as a unique shop with books, music, posters art and trinkets celebrating the local area and scene. Frank was also quite conversational and friendly and gave some insight about the local community which was appreciated.

Killer record store and the owner (Roger Stolle) is as legit as they come...insanely knowledgeable about all things blues, especially in the Delta, and a heavy promoter of Americas finest musical genre (he organizes all kinds of festivals and runs the best Clarksdale live music calendar). Highly, highly, highly recommended for any and all blues lovers. And if you cant visit Clarksdale in person order from their online shop!

Could spend another hour here perusing the selections and visiting with proprietor. Really enjoyed discussing the musical lore and history of the people, the art, and the town of Clarksdale. The shop has anything and everything you could want and plenty of suggestions on other attractions, places to eat, and music to move your blues drawn heart. Definitely make the visit and support the shop.

Roger Stolle is the keeper of the Delta Blues/Clarksdale flame. You walk into this store and know its an absolute labor of love. Definitely worth the visit - he is always eager to recommend live events around town and the must-buy merch he so abundantly offers!

We stopped in during our Bohemian Delta tour with Chilly Billy. This is a really funky store. We purchased tshirts and posters but they have so much more than that. This is a must see in Clarksdale!

Very cool spot. I could have spent the entire day looking at Blues records, posters, shirts, books and other items that represent the music genre. A great representative for Clarksdale. I highly recommend this place to any one.

Best Delta blues music store I know. The owner stayed open late for us and spent 15 minutes discussing local venues and upcoming concerts. Great inventory of local music. Fabulous mix of industrial decor and folk art. Truly a unique place, worth the trip on its own. Be sure to ask the owner about his online video series on local history and music.

The owner here was super helpful. He hand-drew a map that led me on an exciting 3-hour road trip through the Delta. He then told me about a local blues show. Without his help, I would have missed most of the magic of this amazing part of the country. Thank you!

Cat Heads is a must-stop anytime Im in Clarksdale. The owner not only has a fine establishment for blues lovers, but is a successful blues historian and film maker, as well. If he is there and you want to know about anything local, be sure and inquire.There is a great selection of music, books, folk art, and other collectibles. If you are an avid fan of blues music (which you darn well should be) you will love this place. If youre not, Id recommend stopping inside anyway, you will still likely enjoy it.

Buono per turismo senza preteseHi Roger, no problem during the visit. I was hoping to find something much more interesting in the store. For example, the choice of vinyl records was very poor. From what I had read I would have hoped for something more. Even the merchandising was little for music lovers and much for the hit and run tourist. Clarksdale in general I liked it but in some cases, like the Red, it seems there is only the desire to sell something to the tourist on duty. Probably the blues is somewhere else.Good musicMichele

This is a record, memorabilia, art, and book store. I saw old festival and show posters for sale as well. The owner is a local blues enthusiast who also organizes blues festivals and has even written a book on delta blues. If you want to know whats happening in Clarksdale, you cant do better than the information on the store web site, or just by asking the owner while youre there. If youre in Clarksdale its worth a visit.

This place has everything you need to know about the blues. The owner is great! He let my friends and me busk in front of the store when I was in town for a festival. What a good time. You cant experience Clarksdale without Cathead!

Great Place for so Many Reasons! Roger the owner if friendly and welcoming. His blues knowledge is amazing and it shows in his store. He makes a list of music each week which is awesome as a visitor. A wonderful shop to buy good music, local art and different local souvenirs. During both the Juke Joint Festival and the Sunflower blues and gospel festival, check this place to listen to free good live music.
