Double-check their work. Left my attic a mess. Insulation and trash thrown everywhere. Screws were left out... Not sure where they came from, but they definitely were apart of my unit before they came. Cigarette butts left behind for my dog to eat. Stayed out front of the house conveniently until 3pm

Unknown to us the HVAC system in our new home wasnt even turned on. After being gone for several hours we arrived at home Tuesday night on the hottest day of the summer to find our A/C not working and the inside temperature of the house at 85°. I had used Mainstream once before and was very pleased with their response so I decided to call them again first thing Wednesday morning.I called early, talked with their answering service and shortly thereafter I received a text letting me know I was on their list and the technician would be calling when he would be on his way. Around 9:30 I received both a call and a confirming text that Wesley was on his way. Once he arrived, he quickly discovered that the outdoor unit starting capacitor had failed. In a matter of just a few minutes we were back in business! He also let me know that the part was still under warranty and that I would only need to pay for his labor. After being gone most of the day I got home and I had water in the tray that my inside handler sits in and I knew that was a problem. Five minutes later Sam Keatts called me and was professional and very polite. He was very busy and had no problem at all put me on the list to come out and look at my problem. After we talked for a minute he asked if I was willing to help him do a little diagnosing and I said sure and he talk to me right into finding my problem. A clogged drain was backing up water all over the place. 10 minutes later he talked me through fixing the problem and now I’m back in action and very happy. Because he talked me through it and I was able to fix the problem I didn’t waste his time and he could go to another house that needed more extensive help. Excellent service!! The technician pointed out where the previous company (A1 Heating & Cooling) who came out for the original estimate earlier that day had damaged my unit & made a hole in my pipe & drained all the coolant out! We are very happy with the whole team at mainstream. We Were very frustrated after getting bids from several other companies and almost ready to give up. I couldnt get anyone to call me back,it was very expensive and no good financing options but from the first time I talked to AJ it was like a breath of fresh air. He was knowledge, helpful, kind and prompt to respond. Everyone else that we dealt with was great also. They had it done within a few days and we are very pleased and cool. Not to mention we saved about $2000 compared to the other company we were trying to use and got great financing. We had one small issues with the installation. They did a great job fixing my AC unit. Even though it was the middle of summer, they got to me the same day I called. It turned out to be a minor issue. They charged me a very small amount and gave me advice on how to avoid the issue in the future. Always on time. Jacob did our annual maintenance. Weve had him before and we love him. Hes changed our filters in the past. This time he changed a light bulb in the attic and cleaned our air conditioning unit. We feel he must above and beyond our expectations. If he is representative of the other employees, then theres no reason to go with anyone else. We had an emergency several years ago on a Memorial Day weekend and we couldnt get hold of anyone. We saw their van on the street and called their number. They still squeezed us in and saved our weekend. We wont use anyone else.

Technician Richard was extremely professional and wasted no time getting to work on my system. He performed a variety of tests and located the problem area quickly. He answered all my questions and some I didn’t think to ask. He made sure I was satisfied with the results before he left. I am very pleased with my Mainstream experience and will definitely have them back in the fall or sooner if the need arises.

Had them come out a year and a half ago for AC not working. Found a pinhole leak on one of the condenser lines and repaired. A year and a half later, the same exact hole is now back. They will not warranty their workmanship because it’s over one year. Not to mention that the technician showed up with not enough refrigerant to fix the problem and said I would have to wait till Monday before they can come back. Find someone else that takes pride in the workmanship.

William and his team got my old unit taken out and a new unit put in. Not only did they do a great job but because of the unit location they had to use a crane to pull the old one out and install the new one. I requested a quote fir a new HVAC system. They didn’t show up the day they said they would. I called and the technician said he hit busy and asked if he could come the next day.He came the next day and I was impressed with his knowledge. He said he get me a quote sent the next day. He didn’t.I have since gotten a quote and had a few em questions. He hasn’t returned my call or answered my questions via text.I called the Company today and asked fir a manager to call me. They said he’d call me tomorrow.

We bought our house in 2015. 2 months later due to previous owners negligence we had to replace the whole unit that was not covered under our homebuyers warranty so we called up Mainstream. They came out and ended up replacing the whole unit blower ducting etc. we went through escore and so are still paying on it. We have had them come out multiple times to fix broken or bad parts. Our ac yet again is not working. It is always humid in our house. We have a 3 ton unit and have already paid over 8k on it and still paying! Seek another company, one that will look out for their clients best interest.

Matthew installed a new outside disconnect for our Trane heat pump. The original disconnect which was installed with the older original unit did not carry sufficient amperage to run the heat pump during cold weather. I love this company! Weve tried MANY companies over the last 24 years while living in Clarksville and Woodlawn TN and this company by far out shines the rest. Ill never use anyone else for my HVAC. (they also installed our two new ones back in 2018 and did excellent work. They put two new vents in two upstairs bedrooms back in 2017 which made a HUGE difference in cooling our upstairs) My favorite thing about them is the text reminder I get to schedule routine maintenance. PLUS they have great employees. Dave was just here for our Spring maintenance and was very professional and friendly. I highly recommend them!

Scheduling is Poor - customer has to work around their schedule. Unwilling to set a range of time other than 0800 to 1600. When they are unable to make the visit due to time they will not reschedule with you, the customer has to call and get in the queue again for the next available appt.Customer Service Poor - Out units have needed care multiple times. The units are less than 1 year old. Everytime I call they seemed confused about who I am, the address, and any previous problems.They still have yet to return with a piece of equipment for the lower unit.Customer Shaming - They were called about the replacement piece twice in the past month. Each time it has been the customers fault that notes werent put in and there was no follow up.Employee Unprofessionalism - The call representatives are rude and defensive when questioned. When I was asked why there wasnt a note put in the file about the replacement piece I had to explain ot was not my job or area of expertise...Overall Poor Experience. We use them because they installed the units.I would recommend West HVAC - he is another business in the Clarksville area. He is kind, personable, and takes the time to walk you through a problem. I called him this past winter because Mainstream didnt have time to come out. He actually walked me through the issue of resetting the unit over the phone. He never asked for payment just said he was glad to help.

Mainstream Heating & Cooling came out due to not getting heat on my unit. It was determined my gas was not connected. They recommended i call to get it turned on. They didnt charge me anything for the simple fix. Friendly, Dependable, Reasonable and good customer service are a few reasons to give them a try. The cherry on top is the knowledge of service.
