I came into Warp9 Comics and immediately asked the owner if he had a weirder heros comic, and he kindly helped me out, and very quickly at that. He found a lot of them, and got me out of there in about 3 minutes. Great store.

Wow, cant believe I waited so long to stop by. I called and they held a variant for me and once I arrived, I was in nerd heaven with the amount of different collectibles. The staff was very cool and patient with me unlike other local Comic shops Ive been to. Couldnt recommend more to stop out and see what goodies they have in store for you!! Thanks again!! The staff here are so cool. These folks love comic books. The best time to be in the shop is when there is a lull because the staff will chat with you about their favorite comics as long as they are not in the middle of restocking the place. Keep in mind that they have a business to run before you expect them to chat with you for hours about their love for comics though. Of course, it’s obvious they enjoy them and interact well with customers. Don’t be shy, or you’ll miss out. There is a wide selection of current runs and back issues and TPBs. It varies from Golden Age to Silver to Bronze to Copper to Modern in selection. The back issues are ordered alphabetically. It is a little hard for petite persons to maneuver some of the back issue long boxes, 📦 but I’m sure if you were struggling to pull them out, the staff would help if you ask them. I just carefully pull one long box off the shelf and go through it on the floor, preferably not when there are a bunch of customers trying to look at the new releases on the shelf. Their long boxes are also filled full with comics, so you may need to carefully remove some in order to flip through them properly. Don’t bend their comics up and yank them out of the long boxes because you are impatient. Take your time and be mindful for the people who will look afterwards. You will find good deals and a good selection of issues here. The wall books are great and mostly raw. There is a small selection of statues and other stuff related to geekdom. The store is also very clean. Don’t sleep on this shop—these folks are great!

Easily the best comic store Ive been to in a 50 mile radius. Theyre polite, theyre knowledgeable, they love talking about passions with customers, and theyve been the best retail establishment concerning COVID out of ANY of the places Ive gone. This shop is a little gem, and Im thrilled to live ten min away!

This place is just awesome. I had the ultimate feeling of nostalgia going through the store. Great variety of cards at this location. Would recommend to anyone. This is a great comic book store. Becoming a member has great savings. Also the ability to email a pull list each week is convenient and easy. They always have the comics I want. Huge selection and from all the different publishers, not just DC and Marvel. Great selection of figures/toys etc. The staff is helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this store

Bad business ethics- I purchased a comic book from here that was inside of a CGC graded case- without me realizing they had pulled that comic book out of the CGC case and sold me the book. I didn’t realize until later when I took the comic book out of the bag. Next time you go there to purchase a graded item make sure you pay attention so they don’t get you like how they got me.

I have been casually coming here for years, and it is a great store with a friendly, knowledgeable staff. They have a wonderful collection, and it is organized quite nicely. A must visit for any fan of comics/comic-related media.

Service was HORRIBLE. Couple guys opened didnt even say goodmorning to customers waiting in cold. Counter services were EVEN WORSETHE ALL THE NEW BOOKS I A VERY SMALL AREA YHEY JUST LET PEOPLE STEP ON EACHOTHER WHEN WE SHOULD BE SEPARATED. the guys had HORRIBLE ATTITUDES and to charge 50 bucks fora pull file is absolutely LUDACRIS. IDE GO DOWN TO GOB RETAIL 1.5 MILES DOWN THE ROAD

I love Warp 9. Ive had a pull list here for 4 years and have always had a positive experience. The service and selection is great and always has been, but the new management that took over in Sept 2014 really improved the look and feel of the shop. The layout is much more open and it doesnt feel as crowded. The new owner and staff are friendly and seem very community-minded, which makes for a very welcoming atmosphere. Overall, its a great comic shop that keeps getting better. Ill maintain a pull list at Warp 9 for as long as I live in Metro Detroit. Highly recommended.

My son love to come to Warp 9 when he gets birthday or Christmas money to peruse the great selection of Marvel and DC collectibles. He just purchased a Batman figure a couple of days ago. Within an hour of opening it, the head popped right off. My son is almost 10 and is not rough with his things. I went into Warp 9 to explain what happened. Even though he didnt have to, Trey the owner gave me a replacement. This shop is great. Stop by soon!

Into comics or pop culture and need a place to find it? This is the place. Im always met by knowledgeable staff, and theyre friendly. You may have had bad past experiences with shops like this where the owner is either so elitist they laugh when you mispronounce a name or they price gouge because they dont think anybody knows what Amazon is. Warp 9 isnt that place. Theyre welcoming to new customers, they answer questions politely, and theyll even see about ordering items. Its nice to have a local place to visit where you can discuss comics or pop culture with real people. Amazon cant replicate that.

Pros:-Friendly staff, I haven’t really had a negative service experience here. The staff I have talked with have been willing to answer questions or have a casual conversation.-Good selection of comics.Cons:-Limited selection of MTG singles (prices somewhat competitive locally)-Shop is a tad cluttered but it could be due to lack of storage area.I really haven’t had a bad experience at Warp 9. Staff have always been willing to answer questions I have. They do have a limited selection of MTG singles but their prices can be competitive. I’d probably go here more if it were closer to my home.

Its been my comic shop for years now. And the whole team works so hard together to run a great shop and it shows. The books arrive on time and in great condition and my pull list is always completed. Love these guys!

Super friendly staff and they almost always have what Im looking for. Love coming to this place but their new release section is a bit of a mess, can be hard to find what youre looking for. Wish it just had the current and previous weeks releases instead of the past 5 or 6 weeks.

I was here for free comic book day and wasnt disappointed. People dressed up and some illustrations were available from a local artist. Very cool.

I stopped by to check the place out and I was met only with outrageous prices and rude employees. I was hoping to purchase several cards and maybe some comics and in hoping to check a cards condition I was responded to with a condescending cant you see through the plastic. After I declined to purchase anything and continued to look around for a minute the employee told another customer that I was being rude and I should not ask to check to conditions of the stuff Im buying, all while I was still in the store. I would not recommend to visit or return to this store if you did not have to.

If you want to feel like an enemy, rather than a customer, go here. Ive gone here several times and tried to look past the extremely unfriendly (to the point of stop bothering me) persona that exudes from each and every person working there but I cant do it any more. Ive spent at least a grand here every year and today I had 300 dollars worth of product on the counter and was literally treated like an enemy...I dont know how better to describe it. Good luck and good riddance.

Lots of cool items in a small space. Some of the variant covers on new books are marked up even if they arent particularly rare, and the store does have some retailer exclusives (think Toys R Us or Walgreens) on sale at marked-up prices - I dont have a problem with this, but I know some people dont like it, so just FYI. But overall a good shop with good selection.

Nice, friendly staff. Good arrangement of new issues and variants. Only compliant would be the tightly packed boxes. Makes it very difficult to look through and its clear some issues get damaged in the process of some not-so-careful people mis-handling them.

So this shop changed ownership about 3 years ago, and the difference is noticeable. Trey, the current owner, spent quite a bit to fix the place up and make it a nice place for people walking in off the street to see. They have a pretty decent selection of comics, and they keep previous weeks comic out and on different racks so you dont have to dig through long boxes to find last weeks pull. They also have a pretty decent toy collection, statue collection, and gaming card collection, so no matter what you are into they probably have something for it.Its the kind of little comic show you dont see much around this area, so it is definitely worth a visit. Plus the asst. manager, Dan, runs a twitch stream and youtube page that feature unpackings of Pokemon cards, and weekly run downs of Wednesdays best books.The customer service is top notch, with a friendly staff that is always happy to help. They also are always happy to special order upcoming merchandise, so if youd rather your purchases helped small businesses than monsters like Amazon, check them out.

Great store. Ive been going to this comic book shop ever since I was a kid and Ive never been disappointed with each visit. They have just about anything that you can think of. Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Star Trek, Anime, etc. If it werent for Warp 9, I would not be the huge Godzilla collector that I am today. Although, it doesnt have as much Godzilla stuff as it used to, I still go each time to check and see if they get any new Godzilla items from Japan. Overall though, its a great store that you gotta check out whenever youre in the comic book mood. Just like me, you wont be disappointed!
