Honestly loved my visit here. Not theost comfortable environment, but the best beer and wine selection. Happy to have help picking specific types. Wouldnt trust the clearance selection, but everything else provided more than adequate. Hoping to make it back again soon.

Just come here, you wont be disappointed.My ONLY peeve, which does not drop this 5 star spot down to 4 stars, is that some of the beers are really old and therefore spoiled. Purchased a Samuel Smith Strawberry Ale and it nearly exploded with foam when I popped the top. Tasted off, very foamy, had to pour it away.

Like a candy store for grown ups! Went there specifically to make my own 6 pack. There didnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to how things were on the shelves. I was looking for local beers, but they werent just in one area. The prices were a little high, but I kind of expected it. Its a great way to try out new brews.

I’ve been to this liquor store a few times and they manage, with a huge variety of spirits, to not have what I want. I called ahead and asked if the had a specific type of beer. They told me they had similar to what I wanted but a different brand. I was willing to try. Drove 5 miles out of my way for a 16 Oz bottle. Why couldn’t the guy mention they had large bottles? Would have been worth mentioning as most prefer 4 or 6 packs bottles or cans. Well, I just cracked it open for it to be almost 5 months past it’s ‘Best By’ date. Whatever... willing to drink. When I called to kindly let someone who works there know, he said he would check it out. No apology. No thank you. No NOTHING! Rude! I won’t be going back, that’s for sure!

Beer nerd Mecca... After 8 degrees closed in Ferndale, I was forced to find an alternative and boy did I ever... This place is nuts. Not the cheapest place, plus damn do they have an amazing selection. If you love beer, go here. Friday evenings vendors come in and do tastings to. Fun stuff.

Staff was very helpful. Didnt have one of the items we were looking for but offered assistance and researched our needs also made additional suggestions for future purchases. Will return.

This is my go to spot for finding brews Ive never had, and also ones that are hard to find.

Id go 4 but their beer pricing is a little steep considering the put-through and its great to have singles but DAMN that pricing is high. Thankful they are close. Always check your beer-stamping dates too, they will occasionally keep some old IPAs sitting around.

Although this is a decent place to shop, the cashier was rude and aggravated when I asked a simple question. I will not go back....thats what I said two years ago. Now I can say that I shop here whenever Im in town. Cashier always friendly.You know what they say about first 👿.....

Horrible experience. I told them when I entered I had a medical problem that prevents me from wearing a mask. After I paid they threatened to call the cops and told me to get out. If they didnt want me in the store without a mask they should have told me prior to shopping and paying for my items. Happily will do business elsewhere.

I buy beer here fairly often, but Ive never been brushed off like I was today at any beer store. It was blatant. I was pretty taken aback by it. It was a terrible experience for a specialty store. I was pretty shocked at the lack of interest in my inquiry.

Been here a few times. They have a very good selection of craft beer which should earn them a high rating. But they charge a premium price for it, hence the three stars. If you are looking for something unusual, this is a good place to check out, just be prepared to pay for the privilege.

Has a huge selection beer, wine, and liquor. You cant go wrong when you step in there. Service in there the guys are very friendly. Ill be back.

Great selection of all things alcohol! Absolutely MASSIVE selection of beer, and the ability to make your own 6 pack from a bunch of single selections. Huge selection of large special selection beers from a variety of different breweries. They also stock beer from other states, specifically Colorado and Wisconsin. They also have a growler fill station with a rotating tap. Finally, they have an imported beers section, with a variety of Japanese, Belgian, etc brews.Staff is helpful and friendly, and will help you find specific selections.Some offerings are a little pricy, but most offerings are at a reasonable price. And when you have this huge selection in one place, it is easy to just give in to the slightly higher price.Finally, I havent taken advantage of it, by there is a huge selection of snacks and frozen food to add to your night of drinking, or what have you.

Fantasticly superior selection of micro brewed beers, ciders, meads, and barley wines. Friendly and knowledgeable staff will help you find your beer or tell you when its available. Regular wines, spirits, and mixers are also fully stocked. You can even pick up a fine cigar on your way out if you need a good smoke!

I guess you have to buy spirits & hard liquor in Detroit at liquor stores only so its a nice liquor store with a large selection of low & high end brands at decent prices for a liquor store. Though not as cheap as buying it from grocery stores in Cincinnati or other cities that allow lower proof Vodkas, Rums etc. to be sold at places like Wal-Mart or Kroger.
