First time visiting since becoming Strickland Brothers. Fantastic service all around... Both men were friendly, professional and communicative. I arrived without an appointment around 8:45 am yesterday (Thursday) where I was immediately greeted, offered a cold bottle of water and my truck was taken straight in for an oil change. The other gentleman came out and showed me that the truck needed a new air filter (undeniable when next to a brand new one), what the cost was and then gave me time to respond/question without ever pressuring or trying to persuade me into a sale. (I agreed that it needed to be changed and to do so.)I was in and out with my oil and air filter changed in 25-30 minutes.I very much appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of my overall experience. I will be continuing to bring vehicles here and certainly recommend them to others.

What a great place. Had an issue with a slow drip from my oil plug after the service. Even tho the vehicle had sat for 3years and the gasket was dried out and busted, Bill still replaced it and did all new oil for no charge. Will be a customer from now on. I’m impressed and that’s not easy to do!!

Good and quick car inspection service

I Called to schedule for an inspection and oil change on Wednesday March 24th before 9am and the supposedly manager hung up on me without letting me finish what I was speaking. That was rude as hell, also my wife went for an oil change on a green 2004 Honda Accord and they charged her 100 bucks and didn’t even do nothing to the car nore gave her a receipt, so when I called they said oh we were trying to hook her up by adding fluids to the car that it needed without putting it on the system or else it would’ve been more expensive, like really wtf🤬 so I went personally and demanded my money back. They need to hire people that care and know how to respect customers.

Normally let things roll off my back. Had been using them for inspections. Up until this year never an issue. I have a couple cars due to kids driving and always no problems. This year however is different. Each time I brought a car in they would say wipers are streaking and it won’t pass. Never saw them test them with water but fine replace 60 bucks later done and come to find out they are the wrong size.Next car 2 months later same thing. This time I had changed the wipers ahead of time and Shazam they said same thing. Left there and went to a competitor and passed no issues. Shame was a fair place to get inspection but there young kid doing them has cost them my cars moving forward. I will pay for what broke or wrong but won’t be taken advantage of by them again.

Central Lube didnt try to sell me additional services not needed with my low mileage car (like another place last year who did my oil change). Central Lube did exactly what I asked and also provided a service check list which let me know items needing attention in a few months. Central Lube is following the governors mandates and all employees are wearing facemasks so you can find comfort in getting your car serviced safely. Customers are required to wear a mask AND socially distance while inside.

The mechanic was honest about the world done on the car. Grant it, I just got a synthetic oil change, the mechanic explained that it didnt need to come in every 3k miles because it was synthetic and that it last longer than regular oil. The folks at Firestone on the other hand would tell me to come in every 3k. Lesson learned. I wont be going back to Firestone.

A hidden auto gem in Clayton. I’ve gotten an inspection and oil change here and both times I was in and out without a fuss. Other places in the area are an all day event, but Central Lube is quick and easy! Glad I found this place

This place is always top notch, but my last visit was the best. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Three people worked on my car at once, even vacuuming it out. They dont try to sell you things you dont need like many other places either. Overall, it is a great place.

Service was great but $30 for an emissions test is outrageous. Georgia only charged $20.

For the past two years, I have been going to get my car inspected at Central Lube and did not leave with so much confusion and frustration as I did today. While waiting in the office, I hear a older woman complain that she was being charged for tint and she had never been before at this location. Hence, another $10 to her state inspection. In less than 15 minutes, the same incident happened to me. I was completely baffled as Mr. Ortiz attempted to show me that I had “tint”. After I showed that I had previously had this car inspected with a receipt to the cashier and was not charged, the cashier seemed confused as well. After I paid for the additional charge for the tint, I arrive to my car with a check low beam on the dashboard. It was not there when I arrived and I am the one that pulled it up to Bay 1. So within 1 minute of Mr. Ortiz checking my car I have a check low beam on my car and “tint”. I am completely baffled and will not use this location again due to its new found inconsistency.

Central Lube is number one on my list for timely service and great customer service. When you go to get an get an oil change you already expect for the business to try to get extra money out of the service but not here. Every time I come here they always tell me what I NEED and they dont try to overly persuade me to get it done. Ive been coming here for years, even thou prices can be lower in other establishments you cant beat the quality of service here. It is Def. worth every penny.

My new place for oil changes. These guys had me in and out in no time...on a busy Saturday morning too. Did an excellent job explaining a minor oil leak which was the fault of Walmart Lube and Tire not screwing on the drain plug correctly. Waiting room was nice, plenty of seating and cool AC.

Our family loves Central Lube! The employees are always super helpful!We also have known the owner for 19 years and he is top notch! If we have a concern with any of our vehicles we can stop in and have them take a look and they are always more than glad to do so! We will continue to use Central Lube for our oil changes and anything else they can offer assistance with!

Been going there for tire rotation, engine oil change, and vehicle inspections. The turnaround is fast even when busy, worst wait in 12 visits was 33 minutes for all three. The men and women are kind even on the hottest summer days!

Always fast but great quality service

I have 4 vehicles, and have brought each one here for inspections and oil changes, multiple times for each service.Lets start with the good, because they are very efficient and perform the service well. However, each time I have brought a vehicle here, I spend the next hour cleaning oil off of everything they touch. And in the case of my White vehicle, oil was dripped on the hood, the front bumper, and major smudges all over and around the door handle, drip rail, and hood (adding to the drips). Lets not forget the steering wheel, gear shift, and inside door handle.I mean come on, the car is white, you cant see this. I saw it from 15 feet away as I approached the car.This is a problem because I tell them every time to be conciencious of this; yet every time its the same thing.Of course my expensive vehicle with the tan interior, which I only bring for inspections, they have left a permanent stain on the inside window pillar.My suggestion would be to stock up with the 50pack 3mil disposable gloves from Harbor Freight, for 10$.Thats 5 cents a pair.If I am to continue bringing my business here something has to change. Its not complicated, they deal with oil, pay attention to what your doing. pick your feet up and dont slide it across the door threshold, that is a significant amount of work to get oil stains off of tan leather, fabric and plastic. My car is permanently stained because of them. The travesty is I had to pay them to do that to my car.

I got my car insp. completed within 15 min, everyone was kind and respectful. Ill be going back there, absolutely. Rarely do you find a mechanic shop as good as this place. Thanks guys, I really appreciate your help!

I intentionally let some time lapse before writing this review so I could try to be objective as I was so upset following my visit here. I have never been here before and wanted to try the place as an alternative to bring my vehicles for service as the reviews were pretty good.Simply put, this place is horrible and poorly managed - Ill never return and wouldnt trust these guys with my lawn mower! I asked for the premium oil change as I knew some of my vehicles fluids were low and wanted them topped off. Upon returning home, I noticed that my vehicle was leaking oil on my driveway. I crawled under my truck to see what was going on and noticed there was oil all over the side of my engine and pooled up on my skid plate, lower control arm, etc. I couldnt tell if they just made a mess while changing it or if the oil filter was loose. So, I crawled out and thought I would check my fluids, but prior to doing so, I noticed the oil smudges and prints all over my quarter panel, door, hood, drips down my bumper and grill - they definitely made a huge mess. So i proceeded to check my fluids; my power steering fluid was low, my brake fluid was low and my radiator reservoir was low - they clearly didnt check the fluids that I paid them to do. I proceeded back to the service station to have them fix the problems and while they apologized for the mess they made, they got me right in. They topped off all the fluids (which they admitted were low) and said nothing was leaking, it was just some oil that spilled and was dripping from my engine. While traveling back home I heard a clank, then something that sounded like a bolt or a rock bouncing off the road and hit my undercarriage. So, I went ahead and crawled back under my truck to inspect and noticed that they only replaced 3 of the 5 bolts that holds my front skid plate on; I must have ran one over and the skid plate was hanging down on the driver side. I called them back and couldnt get the manager on the phone, but the guy I spoke to said the manager says he can order you some bolts but it will take a few days.Leaving for a road trip the following morning, I guess I was on my own. I went to the auto parts store and bought the bolts and washers to replace on my skid plate and did it myself. 4 hours and an additional $17 out of my pocket (in addition to the $67 oil change), not to mention the grease/oil I still had to clean off my truck following the second visit for what I thought would be a routine maintenance,. I have absolutely no idea how they have the rating they do online, but I wouldnt trust them with your automobile. If the Manager cared enough about the business he was managing, he would have taken my call and addressed the issues and poor service.

Probably the best oil change place Ive been to. Normally youll go places that have either a long wait or terrible customer service but what Ive come to find out is this place has neither. They get you in and out pretty quickly and provide excellent customer service. This is my go to oil change place.

Auto techs showed poor customer service and unprofessional. The manager was helpful and apologized for the techs but, I will definitely take my business elsewhere.
