Ive had my emissions and on the spot renewal done here 3 separate times and they have been great every single time. Very fast and professional, and the on the spot renewal is a huge time saver. I have also used their a/c tune up special, which is great. They got my a/c working great. I recommend these guys for all your mechanical needs

Rough estimate for my muffler replacement was between $140-160 parts and labor. I understand this was just an estimate, but I felt comfortable going ahead and setting up an appointment. When I went in for servicing the price turned into $220.89 and I had to return the next day because they did not have the part. Luckily I had the day off.I know I could have declined getting the service, but I was up against a wall needing to get the vehicle licensed.On the bright side I was able to do the Emissions Inspection while I was there (adding another $34 to the grand total), but you get $10 off service for reviewing them on Google. So, what the hey, I’ll take advantage of that discount.

This location has already repaired two of my vehicles and the service, communication, and pricing was better than expected. Tagge and his staff, ( I worked mostly with him) were very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the repairs and offer options. I would highly recommend this place, and I am glad I found a good auto repair business to take my cars!

I needed to get my oil changed and so I brought my car in for that. The folks at Master Muffler did a once-over and found a couple more issues which they were able to get fixed and taken care of. They were incredibly professional and affordable. They care about the needs of their customers, which isnt always easy to find these days. Anytime I have came or have called master muffler at this location. Clearfield utah. They have always did a excellent job they dont ever over price me or try to over sale. They always made sure that I am very satisfied with the work and explained to me about what is going on and if they run into any unplanned problems to let me know before continuing working. To let me know what is going on and to make sure if its okay to continue working. They have the most excellent people skills. I dont go anywhere else or think about going anywhere else. Clearfield Mastermuffler is our goto shop for maintenance and repairs, something went a foul with our new wheels and Tage went above and beyond, even though it was an odd/rare occurrence. He fixed/replaced the wheels at a loss, and reimbursed us our tow bill. We are truly greatful for all they have done for us over the years, and extremely satisfied with the what they have done to keep us safely on the road. We will continue to use his shop for years to come. Great experience. They gave us the best value after multiple quotes, got us in quickly, and finished our car in the time promised. We got our catalytic converter replaced and they went above and beyond. While it was being repaired the tech broke our alternator and they replaced it free of charge. They could of easily made up an excuse, or done the bare minimum patch job, but they were honest and upfront which is hard to find sometimes, we will be back!

Had to bring my car to master muffler because it was surging every time I stopped. They were nice and were able to figure out the issue for me in a timely manner. They also noticed that the spark plugs were bad and changed that for me also. My husband brings his work truck here and so I knew I could trust work done here.

Took my Jeep in for an exhaust leak, they fixed that and pointed out another issue I was unaware of, they fixed that also. Very professional, very affordable, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this shop, and I will also be going back for future service.

My husband went here to to get his muffler worked on when he went in the first time he was quoted $150. He decided he wanted to do it and made an appointment and came back another day, they quoted him again and this time it ended up being $300 and they said they had no record of the first quote.Went elsewhere for HONEST and quality work and got the quote and work done within the same day .Will not be back and will not be recommending this place.

Went here based on some positive reviews, talked to Tage for probably 20 minutes without spending a penny and received advice that was different than what we were planning. We returned today and went with his advice, Tage clearly has a lot of experience and got us EXACTLY what we wanted! Highly recommend this shop!

They do really good work. Took my 2014 F350 super duty in to have the reductant heater and a cooling issue fixed. They always treat me well and they have a good turnaround time on getting the job done. I always feel confident they know exactly what they are doing and they take pride in their work. I went in for emissions and registration. The employee who helped me was quick and knowledgeable. The clearfield location is smaller then the laytons location off of mainstreet, which might not be as comfortable if you need to be there for a while, but if you want great customer and mechanical service this is the place to go.

Went to get a catalytic converter and they quoted me at like 3300 my buddy had the same thing wrong went to the same shop and they quoted him about the same. We went to our friends dad who’s a mechanic and he laughed and said they’re straight scamming he got us fixed up for about $500😂 if youre a teen or girl don’t go here they’ll scam you!!

Best price and service. All labor costs are honest, and parts discounts are given to service members.Had my brakes replaced here. The team is willing to work with me on extending the service warranty for the brakes while I deploy for 9 months out of the year.Also recently had an issue with a shop other than Master Muffler where the lug nut broke in half. This store did prior maintenance involving torquing the lug nuts, so they were willing to totally reimburse the cost of parts and labor for the wheel stud replacement.

Great for a quick oil change but I wouldnt recommend for anything else. They replaced two of my tires not even bothering to inform me that they were different brands and different sizes than my other two tires. This is bad for the vehicle. I also had asked them to please look at my front left tire because it was low pressure. They didnt inform me of any problems and filled the tire. Not even 20 minutes into a long distance drive and my tire pressure was low again. Needless to say they didnt even look at it. So again, good for a fast oil change but not much else.

Absolutely awesome work. Deleted my resonator and added a new muffler which I know were a pain on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee trail hawk but they made it look easy and the welds are flawless. Sounds amazing and love the new exhaust. Corey and Dave did a good job. Thanks guys. Highly suggest this place and they got me in the day I needed it done. Awesome!!!!

We are new to the area and had some trouble with our car. They were so nice, quick and made us feel welcome. I also felt their prices were reasonable.

I started going here a couple years ago and will never go anywhere else. Tage goes above and beyond for each of his customers. He is honest with his prices and I never feel like I’m getting an unfair/poor service. I also love that they recommended things and don’t push things on you like other places. My wife hated going to places because she felt like she was treated different because they assumed she didn’t know anything. That is not the case here. My only complaint is that they are busy which is a good sign of a quality service.

These guys will get you in quick, give you a reliable diagnosis, and get you a fair quote. They have always called and been honest if they ever find other issues with my vehicles. Great service, brought my car in for a new CAT, they had it in and out in about an hour and a half. My wife and I just waited til it was done, no problem. I checked the CAT after I got home just to make sure it wasn’t done half assed and it wasnt. These guys did a great job on it.About a week later, my wife and I got a box in the mail out of nowhere and in it was this nice little card from these guys and 2 brownies, pretty sweet.I’ll be bringing all future cars that need anything done with the exhaust systems to this SPECIFIC store from now on.

This place was amazing! Took my brothers car in to get looked at Today 1/11/2020 and re-inspected for emmisons. I didnt get a chance to get the guys name working the front desk but he was super friendly and super helpful! And the whole staff got my brothers car in, fixed, inspected, and back to us quickly! My car was stalling. I took the kia sorento the kia dealership and after the diagnostic, they gave me the quote of $500 for spark plug and fuel system clean up. I doubted about the identified problem and to me seemed like to take my money for nothing, then I took my car to master mafler. They did a diagnostic and told me the issue was the fuel pump. They replaced the pump and now the problem is solved. I only look the honest service not the dealership tried to squeeze the money.

I went to these guys originally for alternator and for my passenger window “wouldn’t roll down” they replaced both and did a wonderful job. a week later I picked up my brother and he tried opening the car door he couldn’t open the door so I pressed the lock switch and it wouldn’t unlock. I Called Master Muffler again and told them what happened, they had me bring it back in and I told them I needed a break light fixed as well. They fixed my door locks and my break light free of charge. I thought that was a really nice gesture, I would recommend them to everyone.

Used this location since I moved here a few years ago, thought it was great! Work was done well for the most part. Unfortunately learned hard that they are up selling me for years, fixing what was NOT broken and if that’s not enough reason to leave, when I call back for the repairs they did that are not performing the way they should they tell me there is no record and nothing is warrantied... Mechanics are on every corner, i’ll keep driving past this one.
