Outrageously expensive grocery store. I only go there if I need something quick. I would never do my regular shopping there. 2 star only because the people are nice.
Average local grocery store experience. We did ask for help locating an item & employee was helpful. Cashier was courteous & efficient. Store is clean, products are good quality, carts & parking lot are in good repair.
A great place for groceries and hardware. You can do your shopping quick. Items are located on isles that make sense. They got the stuff you need and you dont have to wonder around forever to find it.
Allowed an exchange for some bad paint I purchased there. Had other items to purchase and one young man helped me locate one I couldnt find. He was very kind, awesome attitude. I neglected to get his name for which I am sorry. He needs recognition for his great customer skills.
Always a good experience whether its getting paint or picking up a few groceries I love my little neighborhood shops
1st time here. I like the store. Cozy, mom and pop atmosphere, cheaper on some things than Smiths. We have to go a few more times to get a better feel..like that Ace Hardware is located inside store too!
A great grocery store that is rarely busy while also carrying nearly everything I need. This will be my primary grocery store for the foreseeable future.
I’m a teenager who asked where the fishing stuff is and one of the workers asked what I was doing in a voice that was not nice. It felt like he was telling us to get out of the store
Great retail store. Neatly kept. Good meat prices. Friendly associates and baggers. Fast, friendly and helpful.Low volume of customer while in the store. Some dairy prices were expensive but Ive been finding that all over town.Safety measures are taken into consideration. Nice place to go if you need to grab some things for the house.
Great store. A little pricey, and not all the variety one could hope for, but great staff.
I like this hometown store, very friendly, homemade bakery you can smell when walk you walk into store. Items easy to find. Shelves actually have items for everyday use. Unlike Walmart, where there is no one to be found when you need help.
Interesting combination: groceries and hardware. OK, so I can cook for the family or the Tranformers I suppose . . .
Its not a full size Ace Hardware spell July but the grocery stores nice
Loved the place full grocery market and Ace hardware. Well kept up shelves stocked. Prices in line mostly so convenient.
The meat and deli are always great. The Ace hardware never has what I need
Knowledgeable employees, everything is super easy to find. Sadly doesnt always have what I need.
I like that they have an Ace hardware store on site. I really like the fact that it’s usually not packed full of people like Smiths and Wally World. I will pay a little more for that luxury!
Limited selections. Dont expect to find anything healthy inside. If youre after frozen or processed foods, then this place is good enough. Shelves are rarely stocked.I like that its small and I can get out quickly. Its rarely crowded and theres a miniature Ace hardware inside. Its convenient as can be, as long as youre only after Fritos and a shovel.
Its very run down and not well kept, the management is rude and condescending. The plus side is the staff are friendly but they dont stay long so you dont get a rapport with them the way you can at the Maverick store thier prices are fair but they dont have a huge selection. Like I said the store could use a redo as it hasnt had any touch up work since 1986. Oh and the management are rude if you so much as look at any of them with the intention of asking a question.
Good local grocer, has some hard to find products as well as a very good selection of bakery and deli goods
Clearfield Pharmacy in Winegars is the best! They all have the best knowledge and are quick and polite to answer any of your questions. The grocery and ACE hardware are super convenient and the staff is super polite and helpful also.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Love the 35 cent sodas!!
Usually not very busy. Friendly staff.
Actually one of the only Stores Id recommend to go to
I was special Ed and they kicked me off the mobilized carts calling me a monkey so unprofessional
Its what you would expect from a new grocery store.
Produce is cheap and great quality.
Interesting combo store. Better selection of hardware than I would have thought.
Great prices, never crowded
Love this place..
A small quiet store, good for when you need to grab something real quick if youre close
I believe her name was Valorie she was so polite helpful some of the best customer service I have received and she was so helpful.
This is a nice small chain grocery store. The prices are a little higher than the local Smiths or Walmart but I think a lot of that is because they are not a big company and those other big chains are taking a lot of their business. I shop here any chance I get to support the community and smaller businesses. there is plenty of parking and a pharmacy with a drive-up window.
Store is very clean close and easy to get to.
Good sale prices.
Dominic is fantastic. It will be a sad day when he retires. Even though he deserves it. He will be missed in the pharmacy. So helpful for so long. And the rest of the store and staff is pretty decent also. I love Winegars.£~1, £ong
Its a store, what do you expect?
Good location and always very positive staffed and stocked shelves will be a little more than confront for you and your familys well-being
Great food and always fresh donuts
Its weird and convenient having a grocery store and a hardware store at the same place. But service has been top notch no matter what Im buying. And their fresh goods are always fresh. Its my favorite market in my neighborhood
Take your muzzle off and support local business.
I like Winegars. Its close to home and the staff is friendly.
Quick and easy fair prices.
Decent pricing, a good local grocery store to support, and it has an Ace hardware attached. Also good service and decent membership. Not many active cashiers though possibly due to the nearby Smiths marketplace. Recommend that more shop there to support the local business.
New self checkout kiosks are absolutely terrible.
Really nice neighborhood grocer, really nice bakery, and a little bit of everything, even hit or miss items at most stores (bean sprouts, Asian cuisine, ect). A little pricey on the soda, but otherwise amazing
Great local store! I try to shop here whenever possible. I love that they have an ace hardware inside. It makes me want to walk every isle. It’s never been busy when I’ve been there and great friendly staff!
Im really disappointed with local grocery stores like Winegars and others during this health scare. Although panicking people are the bigger problem, the grocers could have done a lot more to curb the hysteria and reduced the hoarding which created shortages and scarcities. It seems to me like our mania fed right into their greed. I find it interesting that they didnt start implementing restrictions on quantities until well after the weekend was over, all the shelves empty and their pockets full of our cash. Now, several days later, they try to save face. Interesting how quantity restrictions are well in force when items are on sale, but when people are in need, they dont worry so much. Sorry, you dont get any points (stars) from me.
Nice store, decent bakery and deli. From scratch bakery. Its a little pricier than other grocery stores for not much more value or quality. Not too crowded. The customer service could be improved, but conveniently close enough for me not to care when I need something quickly. Locally owned. All in all, Id probably recommend.
Gets ya what you need. Good layout.
Small i enjoy getting something fast
Nice variety of everything.
No issues...personnel was pleasant.
Really nice store with short lines but a little more than Kroger and a lot more than Walmart. Its worth it for not dealing with crowds for quick trips.
We love Winegars its close. Love their hardware. And can use my visa credit card
I dont like the price range, you get a 3 dollar thing and right next to it a 50 dollar thing
There was a woman from the bakery who had given me and my kids wonderful service. She ended finding us in another part of the store and helping us further. Im super appreciative of her. I wish the bakery had more of a selection for doughnuts like the Roy location.
Very good shopping experience very helpful people people need to have better wages excellent store
Its a family store everyone is always friendly
Winegars has the best specialty bakery. It is holiday oriented and has great specials. Come in this week (Thanksgiving) with amazing money saving items...and of course bakery items!
I need it a last minute meat/cheese tray and there was Kody, he told me that usually you need to call in two days in advance to order it.He went above and beyond to help me right then, he cut everything and gave me the tray so I could have it ready for today. He was amazing and his customer service was what I need it.Thank you so much for your service.
Wonderful small business, we love their pre-marinated meats! Been shopping there for years. Highly recommend
Very expensive. I save way more money at walmart
I used to go to Winegars all the time before Walmart came to town. Its nice to go back to when I want to make a quick trip.Since theyve downsized the groceries to incorporate Ace Hardware, I worried that they wouldnt carry certain items. But so far theyve had everything I needed.
Decent prices.... and theres an ACE hardware store inside of Winegars. Unfortunately, the isles are crazy and make NO SENSE!! Definitely not an in & out shopping place
Winegars is a very helpful and unique store. With an ace hardware and grocery store there isnt anything you cant get! It is very well managed and everyone is very friendly. The cashiers help ask you how your day is and help you get out quick! Love this place and Definitely a 5/5!
My local market, have been going here for years. The people in the store are aways helpful. they remodeled a few years ago and added an Ace hardware section to the store. I have found this to be a a great asset for me when I need something quick. Not as cheap as the big wally world but has a lot of things that make it worth stopping by, and it keeps some of my money spent in the local stores instead of the big conglomerates.
The pharmacy is excellent! I have used them for years and have no interest in switching. The grocery store is a good place to shop when its close proximity saves you time. The prices are higher than Smiths or Walmart, but for a just a few items thats no big deal.Employees need better training as the front-end staff often lacks discipline.
Very convenient store, I always come in and out quick, never have to wait to check out, prices are a bit high but is what you would expect for a small grocery store competing with bigger businesses. Cafeteria in Winegars has new ownership selling Louisiana style food, po-boys are awesome, cooks are from Louisiana so its authentic.
Other than occasional trouble with some of the more fragile produce, they are a great store. Service is excellent. Everyone is always willing to lend a hand! Usually have the best prices on soda and good deals on meat!
I always enjoy shopping at Winegars. The people are friendly and helpful. I buy all my meat and fresh produce there.
I used to go here all the time. Honestly I stopped going after an embarrassing incident with a male cashier about a lesser known feminine hygiene product a year ago. We have a new Smiths Market Place down the street and I prefer to go there as the staff is nicer, the store is cleaner, and the selection is above and away superior. I have however shopped at the Winagers twice in the past two days. The cashiers seemed to be annoyed to wait on us each time, the store itself was dirty, the produce was old-wrinkled skins on apples, and they have a smoker out front with ZERO barrier around it thats actively smoking. My only thought with the last item on my list is a kid running up and putting their hand on it and getting a burn. (As my 5 year old nephew tried to do.) They dont have anyone watching the smoker either. In conclusion I was disgusted by the dirt and grime, scared for nephews safety, and felt like the staff didnt want us there in the first place. Ill be going to Smiths exclusively from now on.
Everyone is very friendly here & there prices are pretty decent.
Winegars, has always been one of my favorite stores to do my grocery shopping, especially if you want to avoid the larger super stores, I can always get in, and out quick. Their food is always competitive on price, and its always fresh. Their customer service is better than anywhere else in the area, seems to me when I go to Super Walmart or any other super store theyre under staffed for the volume of customers, or if the is an employee around, and you ask for assistance they act put out, because they had to stop stocking their shelf for 30 seconds. Keep up the great work.
Good store clean good selection of product. Has a ace hardware also.
Always great Staff
I love having an Ace hardware inside this location, I hope they never get rid of it.
The price on some things is okay, but for the most part its kinda pricey. We love the ace hardware side of things but we mostly only swing by for pastries or if we just need a few things. Very nice people. Tidy location.
Nice community store not too busy
The manager I dealt with was full of BS, make me realize why I usually dont shop here
Awesome!!They are open until 11 which is so very convenient!! So thank you Winegars!!
Small, but mighty. Jacob was a sensational cashier!
We absolutely LOVED our time at Winegars! It was such a fun atomosphere & our waitress, Carlee, was absolutely AWESOME! She was on top of our drinks & provided us with great & happy service!!! We will definitely return!!!
It is centrally located easy to find close to the freeway or Highway and prices are competitive with other grocery stores
Winegars is a nice smaller grocery store. This location does have a hardware store inside it. So they have groceries, hardware, and a pharmacy at this location.
Very nice staff. Limited selection which is nice. Sometimes too many choices are bad. Good prices and can get most of what I want in one stop.
Interesting combination of stores and products. Great service
I wish I could say that my experiences here had been great. Winegars is the closest grocery store to my home, but I havent been here in a few months. The teenage cashiers are what really drove me away. Too busy talking to the baggers or another cashier to even nod hello, the only thing Im told is the total and I havent even picked up my items before theyre chatting away again. Retrain these kids, separate them, or get rid of them. Youre losing business.
I love the pharmacy staff - friendly, quick service, and they remember you. Its neat that there is the hardware section.
Great lunch deals at the deli. For a good price. Love it.
A nice place to shop. A strange combination of groceries and hardware supplies. But kinda nice if you need to buy weedwak line and milk at the same time. Only downside is everything is noticibly more expensive if not on a sale of some kind.
Great service. Friendly, only thing is expensive as hell. Still Dont stop me from shopping there almost every day cause Im an idiot.
I used to shop here all the time. The people were friendly. But they hired a cashier that is very very personal and I have stopped shopping there completely because of it. Her name is Emily. She’ll tell you her entire life story as well as her diabetes and love life. It is very disturbing and definitely not something that should be in that store. Very poor customer service when it comes to her, always makes things about her and makes me extremely uncomfortable. I have also heard other customers talk about her as well and how things get toooo far. I have complained before yet nothing seems to have changed and I am very very unsatisfied with the Winegars company. Maybe you’ll get more customers if you get less personal cashiers.
People always friendly. Not a large selection of food. Love having Ace Hardware sharing the space.
That small town grocery feel. Everyone is nice and helpful. I drive by other stores to go there.
Nice hometown store. A little limited on a few things. But has a great bakery.
Imagine hiring people who brag on Facebook about not wearing masks at work or washing their hands, cause that’s what this store does!
Not fav store. Prices are comparable to smiths. I prefer Winco
Love the pharmacy. Been going there for over 20 years. Quick and knowledgeable staff.
