Its a great Safeway for our needs, and they have a decent selection of vegan products. The staff seems overworked, but still keeping up spirits.

Super friendly. I ordered online they didnt have my product twice and after they acually ordered some to put in the back for the next time i ordered!

The staff here are great. Good selection of food, great selection of beer. I still cant get over the fact though that Safeway card members pay one price and somebody else pays another price. I dont think thats good business personally

I like Safeway for 3 reasons. They do carry mostly everything you need. They stay open until 1 am. The sales clerks who work the self-check area are always very pleasant and helpful. With that said, I have rated Safeway a 3 out of 5 because honestly their prices are so high. I feel like they trick most customers into thinking they are getting a great deal. For instance buy 2 get 2 free but their price for just one is so outrageous that you arent getting a deal at all, you are getting ripped off and that is how I feel about that. I dont like tricks and I feel that is what they are feeding the public especially the elderly.

They need to do a better job of restocking their inventory. The Deli employee who works there in morning is incompetent. Every time I go there theres a dog in the store.

Always a good experience with well stocked selves and friendly helpful staff i give this safe way 5 stars.

If at all possible do not shop for groceries in Lake County. Somewhere along the line restaurants and stores within Lake County have broken off from society minimum standards and have fallen below the expectations of any other county in California. Clear Lake Safeway is probably the better of the few places in clear Lake to shop for groceries. Dont let me confuse you clearly Safeway is complete garbage. Between the constant harassment of homeless in the parking lot asking for money or begging on curbs or the terribly long lines inside because they have two check stands open clear Lake Safeway is a last resort.

When to the deli to get me a Turkey provolone sandwich on sourdough and it was a bit of a wait but it was so worth it!!!! it was delicious cant wait to go back to have more safely sandwiches. The ladies where great too!😉

Everything i needed for a BBQ wide choices of meats and veggies with large choices of beverages. All in all it was a good experience. Checking out at self check was a breeze, when I have a question the employees were helpful. 2 thumbs up.

I like Safeway. I even worked for Safeway in Lakeport for over two years.Clearlake Safeway does the best they can but because their building is so small, they have very little storage area and run out of products (especially products on sale) all the time.They really need a new bigger store.

Safeways have always had top notch meat departments.As well as good bakery,when near the coastal areas, They always seem to have super great prices on there top choice meats.lets not for get there deli departments for terrific food sandwiches salads fried chicken and more ....

I like the sales prices, the employees are friendly and the store manager is always hard at work. One example is yesterday when I was searching for horseradish for Christmas dinners prime rib. The horseradish that was for sale was out of stock so I went to the back and saw the store manager who was working with another employee in the stockroom but she took the time to tell me where to find the fresh horseradish.

If youre talk about Safeways that used to be G & G I believe its College that Safeway is off the chain beautiful the Asian Cuisine The Boars Head meats and cheeses the meats and cheeses are off the chain slice Deli you cant go bad and the Asian BBQ pork four stars

Got charged for someone elses food because the cashier wasnt paying attention.

It was okay the cashiers werent very happy for some reason and i had a fellow customer slam there cart directly into me as if they were blind in line

Has everything you need in the same place so you dont have to go on multiple trips, but the most expensive store in town, look for the deals!

Id give 3 stars but Ive had some extremely rude checkers! However their produce is always great and floral department is fantastic!! They actually did the flowers for my wedding and I got so many complements on how beautiful the roses were and how sweet they smelled 🌹

Deli people always act like something is wrong with helping you...just want to tell then to go home...

I enjoy shopping at this Safeway. It doesnt have a HUGE selection on a lot of different varieties of food, but I do all my shopping here. The clerks are always friendly, and during this time of COVID, theyre following all the guidelines.I will say that they always have good meat selections, if youre looking for just something standard. Nothing too extreme for seafood selections but for my particular fancy, its perfect. Im not a big seafood eater and what I do eat, they carry.

Our local Safeway is okay. Usually, I shop there if Im looking for something unusual that Im pretty sure other supermarkets wont have. $5 Fridays are pretty cool too.

Well they dont have long lines and they usually have five to six cashiers open in case theres a lot of people never a long line great setup thank you

Crowed with long checkout lines ... however the checkers were on the ball doing their job efficiently and pleasantly, thereby minimizing wait time .

Ive shopped at this Safeway for 20 years and theyve had a few unfriendly employees in the past but now they all seem to Like their job. The Clearlake store is in need of some upgrades for sure. Compared to all of the others Ive seen it seems like this one has been forgotten about. Maybe one day, we all keep hoping...they certainly sell a lot of goods considering the lack of inventory. There is only one other grocery store on this side of the lake, Foods etc to compete with now, outside of Grocery Outlet. Would be nice to have an upgrade with some of these profits soon.

The last two times I went to Safeway they have overcharged me and I am sick of it Im not going back to Safeway anymore

Overall I like the store it seems a bit upscale compared to some of its competitors around the lake. It has a great bakery, produce selection and meat department. I have always liked the Safeway branded products. People are always friendly and help-full. It’s opened late 11:30 - 12:00 AM.

Very clean store they always put the customers needs first. Love shopping here customer service is fantastic. Their selves are very well-stocked for the virus...

The clerk was awesome and so was the young lady who bagged up my groceries. They both were very fast!

Most of workers are very pleasant and more then helpful. Even at 6 am in the morning which is when I go less people less likely to get sick.

I was able to find everything that I needed in the store but when it came to the customer service line so I could turn in my Latto tickets I was told at 4:55pm by a cashier that the customer service rep was out to lunch for 30 mins. I couldnt believe and also that there isnt any back up for that department. Which really struck me at surprise 😔

I love shopping at Safeway because its immaculate, not suffocating like the grocery outlet to me. Fresh produce, great meat selection. Everyone is so kind. Perfect shopping experience. I do miss being able to purchase goodies at the Bakery and sit down to take a break. As a senior now, I get so tired. Im hoping delivery will be an option soon. Thank you Safeway!

For Some Unknown Reason This Store Seems To Close At 11:30pm While The Web Page Says 12am.. For Those Of Us That Work Until 11 & Have A 30min Drive Home.. To Get To Safeway & Find It Closed 30mins Early, Is Not Cool.. There Is Nowhere Else In Town To Get Anything Remotely Healthy To Eat At 11:30pm
