My 2009 Chevy Avalanche started throwing an O2 sensor code. We just got to the area for vacation. I called several places and no one would talk to me or no appointments. R & L muffler told me to come on in. Everyone was friendly when I arrived. They showed me exactly what was going on and gave me the options to fix it. They did not push anything, just gave me the information. The price for what they ended up doing was more than fair. About 2 days later the other side went out. There was no doubt where to take it. Same experience as before. They also have an A/C waiting room, with windows to watch what is going on. For all your exhaust needs, look no further. Great Service at a Great Price.

Cannot give them enough praises!! Very fair, friendly, honest and accommodating! We stopped by with our 30 ft RV that decided to divorce us as the new owners on our first trip. We were turned away by muffler shops, dealerships and recommended mechanics in multiple states and it was in dire need of a muffler and tailpipe. Not only did they agree to replace the old hanging by a coat hanger and separated muffler and tailpipe, they had the parts in stock and told us to come back first thing the following day. From our initial meeting to the vehicle being fixed and ready for Its next adventure was a total of 18 hours...we stopped around 4:30pm and had it to them at 9am the following day and they had it done by 10:15am. Its hard to find this kind of service these days....in any type of business. Only wish they did more types of service that our RV needs.

Fast service and expert installation. The exhaust they installed is better than factory (y pipe with mid-muffler to x-pipe true dual with mid-muffler delete). The pipes have less bends than factory for optimal air flow. High quality steel is used and welding is top notch. I highly recommend R&L for exhaust and brake work.

I went there because after calling around to other places and getting the same reply... R&L actually gave me a different more affordable option. The icing on the cake was that when I arrived to have my car worked on they looked into the issue and determined it wasnt even as bad as what everyone else said.Called thinking it was gonna be $300 the lady at on the phone told me to go after market and saved me $150. Instead when arriving I was only charged $60 for a small repair that was done in 20 mins.Honest great people here

I cannot say enough good things about this shop. I went to 3 other shops before trying R&L. They were the first shop to identify the problem with my exhaust and actually fix it. And they cost less than the other shops I went to. I will always go to R&L for all of my exhaust work from now on. They know there stuff!

Lady at the office is quite nice and professional. Price that I paid for the job was very reasonable, where welding places wanted an arm and a leg for 4-5 minutes worth of time.Job that I requested was done quite well and I needed my grill plate (as in BBQ grill) welded, so it wasnt even a muffler thing. So, you may ask why only four and a half stars... The guy that did welding didnt have a smile and it seemed that he didnt want to do the job, still his welds are quite nice.PS: I know there is no 4.5 stars.

I have recently developed a list of local mechanics you can trust, and they topped that list.The catalytic converter is one of those things which is almost impossible to diagnose, unless they are either COMPLETELY clogged or you cut and inspect them. Most shops will tell you it needs cats, charge a fortune, do the work and move on without caring if your problem is fixed.If your shop tells you that your cats are bad, come here before you replace them. They told me that I didnt need cats (without blowing me off), and pointed me in the right direction for diagnosing my issues.I subsequently had them do a little bit of exhaust work which was quick, fairly priced, and wow...what a weld!This is your place for anything from the exhaust manifold back to the exhaust tip. I went to R&LMuffler after another shop wouldnt give me an estimate for a muffler delete over the phone. This is a straight forward service so shouldnt have been an issue. Paul at R&L got my truck in and out in no time at all. Quick and professional. Price was great. He even bent the pipe for me even though he said it didnt need it. I guess he saw the look on my face and said, Ill do it if you want me to. He said drive it around in different conditions to see about the sound, which is nice so far and come back if I wanted it a little louder.

We drove our truck from Philly, blow our exhaust off, thought we would have to pay and arm and a leg to repair it. We did a google search and found R & L Muffler Shop, they kept our truck over night and the next day it sounded like a purring cat. LOVELY and for a reasonable price. I would recommend them to whomever need a weld job done on their exhaust.

I was referred to R & L by a friend after another local shop did an absolutely terrible exhaust job on my restored 1972 GMC Jimmy. R & L was fast and professional and the pricing was fair. The difference in the quality of the job was night and day. I will definitely use them again.

Needed a quality shop open on a Saturday and I couldnt have picked a better place. They were very quick and knowledgeable of different exhaust systems. As well, they offered me a great deal on a gently used cat back system that another customer did not want. Plus! Two sweet cats greeted me at the counter and that made me feel very welcome.

R&L deserves 10 stars!! My exhaust sounded like it was going to fall out of my car. I had heard horror stories about how expensive such repairs could be, and was resigned to either going broke, or scrapping the car. They fixed it not only on the same day I brought it in, but for less than $100!!! I wont say all their repairs would be that inexpensive, but in a world where it seems all-too-common for service stations to try to upsell you at every turn, their honesty, efficiency, and friendliness are unparalleled. While I hope I wont need their services again, I know if I do, I wont hesitate to call them...and you should too!!!!

Old school automotive muffler shop where you can come in and be served instantly on a Saturday morning! This shop is great! It takes a bit of looking to find it as its surrounded by used car lots. The technician knew his job well and went right to work cutting and welding to make a pipe to my length specifications. As a retired auto technician, these types of shops are almost all gone.One of those shops that remember how service, used to be.

I brought my Jeep in for exhaust after doing a motor swap, and they did an excellent job. There were some very difficult bends underneath that they did flawlessly. Everyone there was friendly and easy to talk with. Had my muffler swapped out with one I brought in and my truck was on the lift about 30 min then it was done. Sounded so much better still not as loud as I was expecting not there problem so I may be going back to mak some tweaks. The guy we were talking to obviously does not want to help out customers or do his job. Very unhelpful and unprofessional, made us back the car off the ramp and load up our own exhaust. Did not want to work with us at all and showed no interest in finding away around an issue. They were slow and still didnt want to give us their time. Ive never had an experience with a shop as bad as I did just now. Dont open up a shop if you cant communicate in a nice manner and help out your customers. Never going there again. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This guy did great work on my vehicle. I had quad tips placed on my car and he was very careful in giving me a quality outcome. He is very meticulous about his work and I appreciate that about him. I wish he did more than exhaust work. I would take my car to him for installing some coilovers if he was able lol. Great shop for exhaust work!

Specifically took the time to go there in the morning when the guy had time, with the simplest of jobs. All I wanted was the install of a bolt together cat back system. He refused to do the work because I did not want to put exhaust tips on it. No compromise, just take your stuff and go, I wont do it if you dont have exhaust tips to put on there.Being a small business, word of mouth is a big deal. I would never recommend this place to anyone looking for exhaust work based on this experience.
