Not only would I give Audio Expert Auto and Marine TEN stars if it was possible, Im definitely going to recommend them to friends - as well as on Facebook, Nextdoor.com, etc. For starters, of all the mechanics I queried online (via Google Maps Q&A), Luke was the 1st to respond to my question regarding my car alarm which was randomly going off while driving. First, as in, immediately, which is even more impressive considering it was one hour prior to their business hours ... Being extremely satisfied with his response, I headed over & was warmly greeted by Luke, who explained in plain English what could be wrong - as in best case vs worst case scenario ... About 15 minutes later, Luke returned with the most excellent news that it was the best case scenario (which he explained of course), handed me my keys and sent me on my way ... And all that, my friends, is what makes this place TEN STAR worthy! 👊💯🤗

This was my second experience with Luke at audio expert Auto and Marine. He installed a new Sony head unit in my car to replace an old system that had crashed. As usual, customer service was great and the work that was done was flawless. Luke, the owner, was extremely personable and walked me through everything that would be needed for the installation in my Transit Van.The install in my van was no small job for sure, but in the end it was installed perfectly. No even a scratch anywhere. He added all the features the stereo could support, hands-free phone even connected it to the rear television all without me asking for it.Very professional company and employees.

My stock radio on my Rav4 went out and the dealer quoted me close to $1800 for a new stock one. I’m new to the area and found Audio Expert online. Based on good reviews we went on over. Luke asked me exactly what I was looking for and pointed me in the direction to a great radio. He worked with my work schedule and fit me in on a Saturday morning, everything was done in a timely manner and my car was ready to be picked up a little bit after noon. They made sure that everything was wired properly and I was still able to use my steering wheel controls and backup camera. For a third of the price I now have a brand new touch screen radio that is high quality and easy to use. Will definitely recommend.

Had a friend recommend this place and I am so glad he did. We were looking to have a stereo, amp, and subwoofer installed for my nephew for Christmas. Took my car in today for a diagnostic on my sound system because it wasnt working. The problem was found and fixed in a timely manner and I was charged very fairly and reasonably. They easily couldve taken advantage of me because I dont really know anything about sound automotive systems but they didnt at all. Bottom line, this place clearly values quality customer service and reason BEFORE profit and deserves nothing less than 5 stars based on my experience.

A clip broke on my Sony base unit, wouldnt hold the faceplate on anymore.They said it may take an hour but I was out in under 20 minutes. Luke is a very pleasant guy and their work is great, the unit looks like it was factory installed. For all your automotive audio and video needs, dont hesitate to see them!

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram that I bought in 2009. It had an alarm already in it that was now failing. I made one phone call to Luke and he asked me to bring it bye so they could look at it. Forgive me but I can’t remember his tech’s name but he looked at it and made some recommendations.After speaking further with Luke and his installer I decided to have a new alarm with remote start installed. Mine also has a module that rolls up the windows when armed that he was able to integrate into the new alarm which I really like and wanted to keep if I could. Luke was very knowledgeable and professional in every way. I took my truck in Friday morning and it was done later that afternoon. The whole job was done under the estimate cost that I was expecting to pay. I couldn’t be happier. If you need any alarm or audio work done don’t hesitate to give these guys a call.

This company is by far the most honest, open and consistent audio company I talked to. I called every company in Pinellas county and this one is the absolute best. There’s a reason they have 4.9 stars and I definitely made the right decision. The clarity between my subs and tweeters is absolutely amazing and it was exactly what I’ve always wanted. These guys are first class professionals and take pride in their work. I Had an entire JL system with 5 channel amp and Sub installed in my new high end center console. They were on time, clean and did an incredible job on my boat. I was nervous with them cutting holes in my brand new boat, but their work was better than the factory cut holes!! They know how to navigate marine installs and answered all of my questions with a lot of knowledge. The system sounds incredible. Luke installed 2 rear door speakers in my Sierra on the 18th of june. I had a 10am appointment and Luke finished the job in about 45 minutes. I wanted to write this review as soon as I got home so that I am able to recall the experience vividly.I chose this company because they had 5 stars across the board when I initially googled them. As of this writing the only negative reviews are two laughable ones that are from one person who hasnt even been to the store and the other from someone who didnt provide an explanation which Ive learned is the mark of an unreliable source, competitor, etc. Knowing this I thought I had a good chance of having a pleasant experience by visiting this establishment. Boy was I more than right.BACKGROUND INFO: Like many others I have been to MANY different car audio businesses, and have been screwed over and left extremely unhappy, and sometimes even livid upon my leave. The very last establishment I went to did good work, but customer service wise was complete garbage (Yes it matters, and really dampens the experience. If you dont understand what I mean, you have not been to enough establishments).Like any person, I am constantly on the lookout for the be-all-end-all type of place. Ya know what I mean? The type of place you take your car because the mechanic is an honest guy who will never steer you wrong, or the type of place you drop your kids off at knowing they wont be mistreated, or even dropping off your beloved dog, cat, etc. The point is you want to rest assured that you will be taken care of and that your good hard earned money is well spent. This place will provide you with that level of confidence and that blissful feeling of being taken care of and maintains a sense of honesty and trust.THE ACTUAL EXPERIENCE: Knowing what you know now: that I have been to many different establishments with negative results, that I want to finally put an end to hopping from business to business, and unnecessarily wasting thousands of dollars (Yes, THOUSANDS). You can imagine I am a skeptic walking through the door, even with the great reviews. I walk in and the person I spoke to, who I also booked my appointment with named Luke was speaking with a customer. He graciously came over to take care of me, knowing I had an appointment rather than leaving me waiting or ignoring me all together. My initial impressions are that he was kind, and seemingly eager to help me. We walked out and looked at my vehicle and he introduced me to Jacob who would be personally working on my vehicle.My impressions of Jacob were equally good. He seemed very knowledgeable, and you can immediately tell he knows what he is doing and what he is talking about (What a relief!). Not only does he have the knowledge, but he has a sense of care regarding what I actually want to achieve. He listened to every one of my concerns and answered all of my questions, which you can be sure I bombarded him with (Dont forget I have been through a long line of getting screwed at this point). He was never impatient or annoyed, he was extremely willing to help me, which really makes the experience 10x better.I expected the work to take the entire day, and I arrived when they opened. However, it took a few hours including my long string of questions and concerns. I also spoke to Luke more and he ALSO answered a bunch of questions and concerns I had. Some of which, were completely unrelated to the work I was getting done. Talk about above and beyond service.To end this off, I drove away smiling ear to ear and felt extremely overjoyed at the sheer pleasantness of the experience. I would go as far as saying that this may be the most pleasant experience I have EVER had in regards to getting a service done. That includes anything from the dentist, doctors office, oil change, etc. etc. Simply because Luke and Jacob are incredible guys, that make me feel extremely confident, comfortable, and beyond content. I honestly am so pleased with them, I wish I had 1000s to just throw away and have them work on my vehicle. The length of the review speaks for itself. I am a customer FOR LIFE.

I had an after market stereo installed on my Mazda Protege on 12/17/2015 by Audio Expert. After calling several places around the area to compare installation prices, I chose this place because its owner Luke Fidler was helpful, nice & professional (most other places were very rude!) and the price was competitive with the other places. They took all my info. (car make, model, year, etc.) before my appointment date and when I got there, they were ready to go to work. They took less time than what they predicted (Great!) and everything was done perfectly. I am considering putting a Subwoofer and when I asked about my options, they were NOT pushy in their sales approach (Much appreciated!), and their selection is good. They even fixed a little bad contact that the cables in my AC controller had (Bonus!!!). Ill go back and HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! Good job!!!

Luke and Travis are the best in the business. Ive had multiple car stereo components installed in my car for the last 20 years. I found audio video experts through Google and had them install a very finicky specific aftermarket product to have my iPhone sync with my in dash screen. Mind you I bought this product on my own that they do not sell in any stores.They got me in the shop installed and set up within 48 hours and weve had some challenges with it (all due to the manufacturer of the product) theyve been very prompt and persistent In returning my phone calls and also helping me get the problem fixed. Anytime youre dealing with car stereo shops most of them are fly by night.... not only are they extremely knowledgeable but they give excellent customer service.
