This is a great music store. Its called Guitar Center,but there is a room full of keyboards and organs. There is a section full of drums and percussion equipment, instruments for symphony players, instruments for beginners. I love browsing the wall of guitars. I never fail to fall in love with some curvy little hidden gem. Ive never not had a great time in this store.

Pretty good group of guys and girls here and decent selection. Always a fair price when I want to sell my gear. My only complaint would be the lack of employees sometimes, but the ones who are there, are solid.

I came this 4th of July at Guitar Center. Was the 3rd time I came. Each time people have been amazing and I could find what I need. I was welcome today by PAULIE. Very kind, friendly and professional. I needed a tremolo bar and he took the time to find the one for my guitar. Top notch service! This place has all you need and staff is awesome. Highly recommended!

Run!!! Got to Sam Ash!Jim is the new GM. Brand new. No idea what hes doing.Employee said entire staff quit when we were ordering my girlfriend a new Interface. We opted for $80+ overnight shipping.Got a delivery email yesterday 10/5. We were able to go tonight and drive 30 minutes before they close.Only to find out that Jim and Ashley are completely incompetent. Jim the GM is asking Ashley how to use the computer. Neither could find it in the backroom. Both looked individually for 30 seconds while another employee in a red shirt didnt help at all.Neither of them were willing to look hard enough to find it after both confirming that her $800 interface was indeed there. She leaves town tomorrow and this was a urgent matter for her career.They had the audacity to tell us to call in tomorrow when their Ops guy is there because they are done looking for it.Shows why his employees quit. Gm is unkowledgable, rude, and unhelpful.Do not go!We will not be doing buisness with them moving forward.UPDATE:Chris was wonderful! We went back in before close after Jim left the floor. He was super willing to go look. Took him 2 minutes.Jim on the other hand came out of his office to tell me they cant continue to look for it. Before Chris came back out with package in hand.Asked for Jims bosses name or email and he got aggressive with me saying he cant give out any info or contact information and my only option would be to go through corprate. Which we will for this situation.Also said hes been managing 1 million dollar stores longer then Ive been alive.Completely unfit for management and should be replaced by any warm body with a brain and heart. Thats capable of looking in a back room for more then 30 seconds for a customer that spent more then $800 on one order.Next time well be taking all buisness to Sam Ash.

I walked around inside for 15 min and no one would talk to me or even acknowledge my existence. It wasnt until I complained to an employee as I was leaving that they had someone talk to me. When I was enquiring about different guitars they were out of stock blaming the pandemic. Frustrating.

Clean store with a great selection and a very helpful staff. Had fun playing a few guitars and a couple different electronic drum kits. Still prefer the real thing though. They are cool but just not as good as a traditional kit. Fun place to hang out and take some notes on future gear.

The female manager and the female associate with red blonde hair both have nasty attitudes. Neither one of them have any customer service skills. I asked a question about buying a guitar. Neither one would help then told me go somewhere else. We dont have the time right now. I hope they dont work on commission. Will never spend my money their again.. If you want customer service to to a small music store

The manager of the store was well, she was absolutely inconsiderate about mask wearing. I have a medical issue prohibiting me from wearing a mask. She asked what my issue was which violates HIPPA laws. Without a chance to show my doctor information she insisted I wear a mask or leave. Mind you we no longer have mask mandates in Florida. So aside from her criminal action regarding HIPPA. I will be speaking with an attorney.

I am thoroughly upset and disappointed and the lack of intelligence in your Clearwater store. You need to educate your staff about medical exemption for masks. I was in the store yesterday and after several minutes of me looking for a patch cable a person came up to me and demanded I put on a mask. I told him I cant for medical reasons and was exempt according to Pinellas County Ordinance 20-14. He then told me it didnt matter that is was a Guitar Center policy and made me leave the store.. Let alone the unlawful nature of said policy you also open yourself to a lawsuit for violations of the Federal A.D.A and public accommodation laws. I will be sharing my experience far and wide on social media

No employees ever asked me if I needed help or wanted to purchase anything. Their books are a huge mess with no real organization. Was looking at guitars while the manager yelled at the employees. Manger was also discussing firing individual employees. Also was going into great detail about a employees breaking into the storage room. Tried to get a guitar shipped here but no one could make the decisions to bring the guitar to this store was put on a wait and have never heard back from them not even to say they they can’t get the guitar from the other store....just a train wreck of a company please don’t purchase from them go to Sam ash the people actually help and wanna sell instruments. I purchased the same guitar from Sam ash for 200 dollars less and guitar center refuses to either match or atleast come down to a reasonable price.Response: the thing is I sent a guitar to another store cause of the poor help and horrible atmosphere. I was reasonably gonna buy this guitar which I own a bunch of the same guitar and have many recipes and provided three that proved your asking price on the said guitar was over priced by a large margarine so your company’s stance is idc your paying the extra 200 just cause it’s from. Guitar center is a stupid way to run a business when Sam ash I have never had a issue with price matching or them coming down when they have a product Mia priced to a degree like that. I again just bought the same guitar from Sam ash in better condition for 200 dollars less

I bought some k12.2 speakers expecting them to be new out of the box, especially since I bought them at full price. One of them I could tell was reboxed and had fingerprints and settings had been changed from default. So obviously used as a floor model that they just reboxed. Im just going to buy from Sweetwater from now on.

Very dissatisfied. We had gone to another business and the employees could have cared less. We decided to take our business to another store. How sad the service was the same here. While I understand our sale would have only been 25 to 50 dollars your store was not busy at all for a Sunday. The employee basically pointed and grunted...over there. Your straps are not marked as to which instrument they will fit. How would I know. Could not get anyone to help us. I decided to order online. Next time you complain client are ordering online rather than coming into the store......this is why! Your loss

My husband and I bought a YAMAHA Digital Piano P-125 in store during the weekend, and after we got home it turns out to be a returned and open boxed one. Keyboards have scratches on them, the screws are definitely used and have marks on them and all the packages are open. We were not informed at all this is an open box product. We called customer service today and they told us that they can actually tell from the system that this is an open boxed product. I just cannot accept the fact that guitar center sold a returned product without informing their customers. I’m extremely upset and disappointed with the service we got. We are still waiting a proper solution from the customer support team. Will update if we do not receive a reasonable reply!————————————————————————Update: after 4 phone calls, finally the issue has been solved.

I dont understand the appeal of this place....id love to try out a bunch of guitars, but they put them out of your reach so you cant playtest and see what works for you. also, their amp selection doesnt include any heads...just combo amps...which i found also kinda odd. maybe this place is a good all in one beginner kind of shop, but if youre looking to add to an existing collection, id try out some smaller establishments instead.

Ive held off on my review of Guitar Center. The selection is great. I like their website. But the guy that sold me my guitar was a drag. Ive had the same acoustic guitar since college, and it was passed time for an upgrade. I did my research, didnt want to break the bank, and just fell in love with the Breedlove lineup. I got a laughable estimate on a trade in and paid full price for the Breedlove. As I was cashing out, the salesman was hammering away jamming on my new guitar behind the counter. I asked, So, you like it? Good guitar? He replied, Yeah, I mean, its ok. Its not great, but its fine. Its not a Martin or Taylor or anything. Oh. Ok. See you later. I was happy about my purchase. I still am, months later. But the wind was knocked out of my sails for sure.

If you go in this GC ask for Zach. He was AWESOME! Went the extra mile completely to help me out and because of that he made the sale. New to the store and more helpful and knowledgeable then most associates there along with Jay. GC is known for their colder corporate buying experience but with Zach it was that rare professional, personable, accomidating experience that led to the sale and me going home with the warm exciting new guitar feeling that will keep me going back to him at this GC to buy more.

Came in yesterday with my girlfriend to purchase some some lighting and a subwoofer. Started off with Dillon and he was great! Then he went and asked someone for help and I cant remember the gentlemans name but he was extremely rude and made rude comment instantly. First thing he said was whose buying this I responded with we are and he goes are you actually buying this or you just gonna by it and use it and bring it back because I dont wanna set it up for that and then left. And then a manager came over and he was very apologetic and helpful too.

I would never purchase anything from this store again. I went to exchange a Christmas gift I received ( not return EXCHANGE) and they do not have an exchange policy. Since it was a gift they said I only have 14 days to return it but the gift was purchased at the beginning of December and not given to me until Christmas Day. I’ve never heard of not being able to exchange something that was never opened! I will never do business with this company again.

This location is so much better than my local GC. However, to say I got a lukewarm reception from the staff would be stretching it. I ordered something for in store pick up. The first person I walked up to was busy at the register inputting data in the computer. I stood there for about a minute before I was acknowledged with a hello. After the hello, his head went back down and he busied himself in the computer again. And then he walked away, lol!Shortly thereafter, he began helping someone else, and I realized that they were in the middle of something, and I just happened to walk in on their transaction. However, at no point was that made clear to me, and at no point did this person try to assist me or get another staff member to assist me.Finally, a young lady came over. She got behind the counter and asked me if I needed help. I explained I was there for a pickup and she motioned me over to the other side of the counter, somewhat brusquely. Name? Order number? OK, what did you order? I realize the staff at GC are just REALLY COOL PEOPLE, but does it hurt to be polite? It must.It took far too long to get what I came for, and 2 of the 3 employees who interacted with me couldve used some customer service training. This facility was really nice, its a shame the staff wasnt.

A couple in California and now here in Florida and it doesnt matter which one they all seem to have the same attitude towards you when you walk in. That is to ignore you and when asking for help you seem to be more of nuisance then a customer. No wonder why more and more people shop on Amazon.

Drum/Percsussuion section was full of new and preowned equipment all at more than reasonable prices. But my experience was a little uncomfortable due to the fact that the sales associate was very aggressive; almost arrogant.He simply threw his best recommended product on the casheir counter without even bothering to ask what my musical intentions were. He paid attention to my product concerns and solved my issue. Additionally if he disragreed with one of my musical ideas, he continually assured me that there is more than one solution to every different drumming situation. True. But even then, I felt like I was being belittled by his overly aggressive demeanor.

DO NOT GO HERE! I MEAN WOW! Use Amazon or different music store. I am a professional musician and I brought my 3 year old here because she loves music. They wouldnt let my 3 year old in the store and told me guitar center makes their own rules. Not only that, so when I was leaving in the down pouring rain my 3 year old fell and the guy laughed and said sorry about that! Seriously!? Guitar Center shame on you!

First I went and me and another got a guitar set with a case, guitar and amp. I got home and opened mine and it was broke and the others was as well so we went back and they made it up by giving us awesome guitars amps and sturdier cases. They are safe and very serious about what is going on with covid - 19 I highly recommend guitar center if you want a guitar.

I have purchased from here before, when I did it wasnt anything to write home about. I wasnt too thrilled when the cashier took my instrument out of the box then began to play it while I waited for him to do his job and just ring me up. The inspection part I understand but there is no need to fondle goods that someone else is trying to purchase. On a return trip to purchase another instrument I went a full hour without so much as a greeting or acknowledgement that I was even there. More than likely my upcoming purchase will be made elsewhere.

Guitar Center has an amazing variety all types of musical instruments. I went there looking for set of drums for my son, and ended up getting excellent lessons from their instructors. You like to play music I recommend you go to the Guitar Center and go check out all the variety of professional instruments, DJ style headsets, and music lessons all that one convenience spot.

So many choices of instruments and sound equipment, I could have spent hours in the place wandering around. Some of the guitars are just stunning, plus they have a great variety of ukuleles to choose from. Guitar Center is about an hour from where I live, but I will definitely be back again soon.

Not sure how I feel about this place. Great selection even though I didnt find a double bass. Prices seem competitive. The place is a little confusing, and unless youre dressed or look like a musician, no one will even look at you. Spent 20 minutes in there and not one person approached me. The good thing is that Sam Ash is pretty close by.

This will be my first and last time, I REPEAT FIRST AND LAST TIME EVER ORDERING FROM GUITAR CENTER ONLINE, in-store or whatever. My boyfriend is am aspiring d.j. at first it was just a hobbie, but now people have really taken notice. So much so that he invested in school for it. The school recommended certain equipment and after I researched, i could only get it from guitar center. (Keep in mind I thought I was doing an order online for pickup in the Clearwater store)all three pieces of my order shipped separately, then one item was cancelled, and because this is a birthday gift and the wrong address is on pkg, i wanted to pick up at a ups facility but guitar center (sender) didnt opt in for that option. Now I just received one item,after completing and address change, but the other part of my order is still on a truck somewhere because the address change didnt apply to the other shipment and my boyfriends birthday is this friday.😳😳👺😠😠☹😬

My husband and I visited this location on Black Friday so my husband could purchase his first guitar. The young man, Austin that helped us was great! Austin has so much knowledge and even played us a little tune! He helped him in picking a guitar that fit him comfortably and explained the difference in wood and coating,helped him tune his new mahogany Fender (my husband is just learning to play) and how to tune in the future, chose a case and all he needs to clean his new hobby. I recommend this Guitar Center and see Austin for all your guitar needs... I also got myself a Ukulele ☺️Oh, and his new guitar cane with free online lessons!!

If I could give no stars I would! This company, particularly this location and the manager Jay needs to read the CDC guidelines for COVID again! My husband and I were about to walk in with our masks on and our 6 month old sleeping baby in his car seat connected to his stroller. When the manager Jay stopped us and told us we had to put a mask on our SLEEPING 6 month old baby!!! Stating it was guitar centers “requirements”.If you read the CDC guidelines It CLEARLY states that NO CHILD under the age of 2 should wear a mask! DUE to suffocation! Luckily my husband and I are aware of this and did not put a mask on our infant like he was requiring us to do but for other parents out there who don’t know this can be DEADLY!We called the corporate number and the guy on the phone could careless also! This company is putting babies at risk and are not following CDC guidelines.
