I had a standby natural gas generator installed by. JACK JOYNER, great service from 1st point of contact until completion. I did have a choice of installation companies, I chose Jack Joyner because they are a local family business that has been here for years and has a great reputation . I know they will be here for the annual service and will keep my unit running properly. The installation involved many different steps and contractors. All were very well coordinated, and said they had been working with Jack Joyner for many years. I have recommended this local company to others without any hesitation and complete confidence they will always be here and do an awesome job.

It took one visit from the tech for my air conditioner to go from running on to flat out break down. From the moment he came in he was trying to sell me a new unit. That’s where they make the most money. I explained I could not afford a new unit yet but see if you can keep this one running for now. It seems awfully coincidental that it would go from running to nothing after his visit. I will never use this company again or recommend them to anyone. Even an enemy. I believe he broke it so that I would be forced to replace it. I will now do just that but I will get it from his competition.

I described the symptoms of our A/C problem and that was enough for the technician to pin point the root cause and replace the defective component. In 20 minutes our A/C was fully operational. If needed, I’d use their services again.

The experienced technician did a thorough and complete check of our ac system, including an antibacterial spray and cleaning of the air handler. He also checked the thermostat and the humidistat. We are very happy with the maintenance and will contact the company for all of our ac needs.

Heat pump seemed to be working but we couldn’t get the heat to turn on. They sent out a service agent very quickly. He diagnosed the problem and repaired it swiftly. He was lovely to work with. I always feel that Jack Joyner is honest and reliable. I would highly recommend them.

I have used Jack Joyner Heating and Air conditioning for several years and have been provided with great service.This past week Jack Joyners sent a technician to our home to do a preventative maintenance on our A/C unit. The gentlemans was Sing, and he is terrific.Not only did he perform a thorough check of the unit, he found a defective fan motor and a damaged aluminum duct. He repaired the duct and contacted his office, while at our home so that a new motor could be ordered immediately. Sings professionalism and customer relations are the epitome of a great employee.I definitely recommend Jack Joyner Heating and Air Conditioning as they are extremely good at what they do. I received quotes from three A/C companies before selecting Jack Joyner Heating & Air Conditioning to replace our entire A/C system. From the initial visit and suggesting the need to move the air handler from the attic to our garage, Bobby and Christian explained to me the perfect solution. There were multiple complexities to installing the air handler and heat pump (condenser unit) the way I wanted them. After multiple emails and phone conversations with Bobby and General Manager Chris, I felt comfortable with everything discussed, including the specific A/C system, the cost, and the job itself. Matt, Harley, and Tang did an excellent job start to finish on the install even though I was that hovering customer that asked many questions and made suggestions along the way. Everyone I dealt with at Jack Joyner was customer focused and professional. The finished product looks and works great. This was my first time using this company and will also be the first A/C company I call for any of our A/C needs. Job well done!

Jack Joyner air conditioning replaced al of our ductwork in the attic in November. The crew was great and we are very happy.When the city inspector came out for the inspection he said he doesn’t really make comments about a company’s work, but the company that did the duct work did a great job. We told him it was Jack Joyner.Today, I had a company out to the house to put insulation in the attic. The guy’s that did the work mentioned when they were done with the insulation what a great job the A/C company did with the ductwork. Also told him Jack Joyner and they said they had heard good things about the company.Had to have a motor replaced in the air handler about a month ago and even though it was a little hard to diagnose they found the problem and ordered the part. We appreciate the good work from this company.

My AC unit ( installed by Jack Joyner Air) wasnt working when I arrived home from work around 330 PM and I called Jack Joyner AC. I was told they would try to get someone out as soon as possible but it might push into overtime and I was ok with that. Summer in Florida is absolutely miserable with no AC ! Well, I received a call back about 1 hour later and was glad to hear that a technician was on the way, getting to me before overtime charges kicked in. Im so thankful for Jack Joyner Air

I did not select Jack Joyner to install my new AC because they were $1800 higher than the company I selected. The other company didnt pull a permit and Jay Joyner reported that to the City. Im a single women and really this just sinks. Im not condoning that a permit wasnt pulled....Im upset because they were over-priced and choose to play this way. Shame on you!!

Obtained services from this company to fix our air conditioner unit. The technician came out on a thursday and stated we needed to get a part replaced to correct the issue. We were the told that we needed to overnight the part so it could be worked on the next day and before the weekend so we paid $50 alone to have this done with the expectation that they would come out and fix it the next day. We waited all day for them to come out and was finally told someone would arrive after normal business hours and be charged an overtime rate (WHY WOULD I PAY FOR THE PART TO BE OVERNIGHTED ONLY FOR THEM TO FAIL TO SHOW UP) The service manager Terry expected us to pay the OT rate as a result of his own lack of time management. The tech finally arrived and finished the job in two hours however because it was raining it took three hours which this company wanted us to be responsible for. So suddenly Im this guys employer now - Nice! - meanwhile nothing like this was ever disclosed to us prior to the start. The manager then spoke to my wife at the time and couldnt have been any more rude, stating that “We should have charged you more” and “I can charge you anything I want”. He then hung up on our call (What kind of manager does that?!) The manager is horrendous and has no business working with the public. Abysmal customer service and he ought to should be ashamed of himself for talking to us like that.

My experience has been extremely positive

Obtained services from company to fix air conditioner unit. Thermostat would kick on but temperature never declined.I called the company on 6/26/19 to obtain their services to fix my air conditioning unit. My a/c would run however the temperature did not decrease, it stayed at 82 degrees and kept rising. I spoke to the services dispatcher (Jack) on this day and was told the fee would be $95 to evaluate our unit plus $60 per hour for diagnostic testing. Initially for the first trip we paid $155 just to evaluate the unit which we paid. The technician came out on 6/27 and We were told we need to replace the coil, however the coil is covered under our warranty (minus labor and materials). We spoke to Jack again and he informed us we need to pay $50 to overnight the coil to have the technician come back the next day to place it. We paid that fee and as of 6/28/19 at 11:30 am our part finally came. I kept calling to check the ETA of the technician as I took the day off and he did not arrive until 4:30pm. He stayed from 4:30-7:30 pm. That day I contacted the service manager (Rodney) multiple times to check the status of the technician and they kept saying he was running late. I was informed that if a tech comes after 4pm we would be charged an overtime rate of $180 instead of $120 which no one told me previously. Rodney did not charge the overtime fee as the technician was late himself. The original quote was $400 including all fees and services. The tech had to stop working for 1 hour due to the rain conditions. We were charged 3 hours of labor (including the hour he had to pause his services and was not working) plus materials. The total we were charged was $510 on top of the initial $155 we paid previously. I called the manager (rodney) for three days straight leaving many voicemails. Finally on 7/3 I reached him and expressed my frustration at the additonal fees. I explained the job only took a total of 2 hours however we were charged for 3 due to the rain which we have no control over. He was unprofessional and rude on the phone to me and did not keep his word as to our quoted and guaranteed pricing we were given. He was disrespectful and I told him he cant charge us for the rain as that pertains to the weather and he stated I charged you too little I can charge you a lot more. I can charge you whatever I want and then he hung up on me. I called my credit card company and disputed these charges due to his dishonesty and charging us more than our guaranteed rate of pay we agreed to and in additional reported this dishonest company to the Better Business Bureau.

We’ve used Jack Joiner for decades for out AC/Heating Issues for decades in my Father’s, my Sister’s and in my own house because of their Expertise, Reputation and fast Service.Last week this company (Jack Joiner) was put thru a test…. You see the motor on my Fathers old AC unit failed during what has been so far the hottest day of the year. He is 91 and has a weak heart so we were concerned that the hot house would not help his condition.The Technician arrived before the scheduled time and got right to work in the scorching attic. Right away the age of the system became an issue – The motor used a mounting method no longer used.We were worried that the repair would be too costly for since the mounting method had to be engineered to fit a new motor.A short conversation with Jack set our minds at easy – Him and his Technician went way above and beyond expectations and at an affordable price. All companies should be as honest and honorable !!!

Bought a new air-conditioning system from this company paid 1000s for it. Two years later I have water damage because the system was installed incorrectly. My neighbor is now dealing with the same problem with his home and guess who installed their system?? This company takes zero responsebility for their mistake wont even come out to look at the damage without charging you? Their response is you never did yearly maintenance with us $$ and if you did this wouldnt have happen. My response is no if you installed my drip pan corretly with the sensor on the low end my system would have shut off correctly and i would have aaoided thousand of dollars of damage. My only advise is to avoid this company.

I contacted Jack Joyner A/C for A/C replacement since they had done the last replacement in 1996. Visited by Sales Consultant, Bob Tipton, at 10 AM on 8/7. He surveyed work, unit and location (6th floor condo) and said he would have to contact a crane operator and get back to me. Heard nothing for a week so called office on morning of 8/14 and left message asking for return call and update on their proposal. Heard nothing back by Monday so called Tiptons Cell and requested return call with status of their proposal. today is 8/21/2015 @11AM and have not heard back from Joyner/Tipton with a proposal, or letting me know that they are not interested in bidding on the job. Very disappointed in their treatment of a potential customer and have given the job to another, more responsive, contractor
