The meat department is lazy and only cut steaks after you talk to the manager. Beer is warm.

Clean, huge selection, great Ingles advantage sale items, incredible deli and self serve salad bar. Plus the convenience of the gas station out front makes it a great one stop shop.

Priced higher than I like but a normal grocery store...my son bags groceries and brings in carts..so the bag boy is amazing.

As a supermarket its perfectly fine. The international aisle is particularly great compared to other chain markets. HOWEVER I made the horrible mistake of eating their cafeteria food that they make in-store and I now have to miss work and all of my classes today because of how sick I am from it. I eat garbage gas station food all the time and Im fine

I absolutely love my Clemson Ingles. It seems like everything they do is perfect. They actually play relaxing and good classic soft rock with some good contemporary Christian music thrown in (unlike the disturbing high-beat, vulgar pop music played at other grocery stores). The staff is incredibly kind and customer service has resolved every pricing mistake I’ve ever come across with courtesy and respect. The store is always clean, stocked, and brightly lit. The prices are average unless they have a sale, in which case they are cheaper than all other grocery stores in the area (except for possibly Aldi’s). I really can’t think of any complaints.

This store have fresh veg. The Deli is a hot mess, food dont look good.

They have the best store fresh tortillas with the least fat around. I buy other groceries here, but this is my favorite.

Super clean store ice cold felt so good thank you

My wife and I go here ever sunday to get our groceries for the week. Today 6/27/2021 at 4:30 pm we had a very unpleasant experience. While attempting to check out the co-manager Garrett told me that my ID was invalid when I handed it to him to purcahse my groceries and beer and my wifes wine. Im 36 years old and my wife is 30. Ive used this ID at this location and multiple other Ingles. Its a 3 month old Real ID that will get me into Goverment facilities and onto airplanes Its literally the most valid form of ID you can get right now. The reason Garrett gave me as to why my ID was Invalid was because the first number of a sequence on the back of the card wasnt a 1. He never tried to scan my ID and he never paid any attention to what I was trying to tell him when I was saying I literally cant get a more valid form of Identification. He just continued to talk over me and call me man when as a customer service custodian and what I can only assume 10 years younger than me He should have been saying Sir.The guy didnt realize that by telling me he wasnt going to take my VALID South Carolina drivers license that he was essentially calling me a liar in front of a whole check out line and two more Ingles employees. I walked out of the store telling my wife we will never go back to that store again even if it means easley traffic and a more crowded store. I called back after I left where Garrett continued to show sub par customer relation skills by telling me he didnt mean to call me a liar and he didnt understand why I had taken it that way. He couldnt explain to me how I could ever use that ID in that store even though I literally cant get any other Identification since it is my actual drivers license. He told me that it was part of his training to look for a 1 so I guess he needs to be retrained. I dont know if its an issue with the new real IDs or if he was just trained wrong but I cant help but feel like hes done this before and will do it again. It has cost this Ingles this households business and Im almost positive that there are others as well. Other than this negative experience we wouldnt have changed our current 5 star review to a 1 we would have continued to give this store a 5 star review like we have every other Ingles Market. I would recommend a refresher course for Garrett and maybe a not so upfront customer service position.

Clemson Ingles is the best of all the Ingles stores I have visited.

Great Deli, selection of meat is good, and awesome produce. Everything is a tad bit more expensive.The self checkout machines talk too much.

Checking grocery stores in the area for my daughter who returned to Clemson. This store was very clean, and staff are very friendly and helpful. Shelves were adequately stocked. Produce appeared fresh and of good quality. Glad to see they carry Boars Head deli meats and cheeses. And you can earn fuel points with their frequent buyer card.

Fast checkout and deli has great, cheap dinner plates.

This location is always clean and well stocked. The ingredients are always fresh and the staff, always accommodating. The parking area is always neat, tidy and sufficient. A recommended location for sure.

Great food, great prices

There are pretty good options for gluten free desserts. But more importantly, there are so many fresh and dried mushrooms! Shiitake, various oyster, porcini, etc!

Horrible supermarket. The people here are extremely rude. Asking for a service at the customer service counter is always a chore. It is raised high, like an Emperors throne. The teenagers running it are rude and arrogant. This place is Clemson at its best!

Probably the best Grocery store near Central and Clemson. Great prices, a good selection and meat counter. Food is always fresh. Great fresh deli meats.Best Beer selection in the Clemson area, very good wine selection as well.The Starbucks is actually a very nice plus, its not in the way and is a nice stop on a long day.Also amazing customer service, I left a bag of groceries there the day before I showed my receipt and then they let me get the items Id forgotten. This was very impressive to me.

Very clean store. They were fully stocked when the Covid19 started and we couldnt find toilet paper and paper towels anywhere. They had it all. I go there for the large variety and meat specials.

This is a very cool grocery store! I can only compare it to places like whole foods as someone originally from Colorado. This store is always clean, has great selection and always fresh veggies. Very impressed by how fresh the salad bar always is! The only downside is the higher price, hence why its more comparable to whole foods than anywhere else. Still worth it especially if you need produce!

Definitely the best Ingles Ive been too and probably the best grocery store in the Clemson/Central area. Wide variety of food and really good deals as long as you have an advantage card. Nice bakery deli also.

Went to the Starbucks. Friendly staff and my coffee was served to me in a timely manner. Staff was well groomed as well. The kiosk was well kept and extremely clean. Even though there were 4 people in line in front of me I still recieved prompt service. I think this is my new favorite Starbucks. Its much better than the corporate stores!

Normally would give 5 stars but right now I am in line all the way back into frozen foods because they only have one register open and no self serve are opened. But there are 3 people at service desk doing nothing but standing around. Could one of them open for 5 minutes to clear out the crowd? ....been standing here almost 10 minutes and line has not moved

Good place for grocery and essentials. But not the best in the area.Update:I added another star today July 26 2020 because nowadays it’s the only store that stays open until 11PM during COVID-19.

Went there to check it out since we were new in town. Reminded me of a store we have up North called Price Chopper. Same set up and all. It has a fresh cooked food area with a lot of variety. I had fried chicken with some sides and it was really good. The prices are reasonable and they even have an Advantage Card like our other store and you can save money on gas with purchases.

Ingles is close to home and they have the beef and most anything else you might need .

Been shopping here since it was the old Ingles. Great employees and usually not too long to check out. Especially love the meat department. They cut to order and I love it. I always get 1.25 or 1.5 inch steaks for cookouts and Ingles never lets me down. Excellent quality on everything fresh. Thanks!

Going out if business by Feb 2020, but will open to a new means of home goods and clothing...they have a few good sales on, just not GREAT ones as they go out of business slowly...staff friendly and helpful...May you find what you are looking for, I found a pair of short boots foe the winter...other things on the pricey side for me...$50 and $70 on most nicer items...Happy Shopping ...The SmithClan

I enjoy my local Ingles, I always find great deals in the meat department. They also have a wonderful cheese section . Anytime Ive had a problem with a purchase, they probably make it right.

Huge store!😃🏢 They have everything and anything you could possibly want or need for any of your culinary needs, along with an ample amount of health and beauty products. Ground beef is good. Their meat keeps for more than 2 or 3 days. Prices are a little steep. But sale items are good deals.

Still has a home town, we care about our customer feel. Big store but not a warehouse feel. The groceries were priced fair, fresh and tasty.

Ingles has stepped up their game with in house Starbucks stands, increased organic and non GMO foods. Fresh fruits and veggies are kept crisp and fresh and the have some local produce. Their Harvest Fresh Beef and small but respectable seafood selection are top notch.

I have never though I would miss a market so much as I do with Ingles. It was well organized, always has fresh veggies, opens 24/7, and super close to my apartment. Now that I have left Clemson, I could not find a market as good as Ingles anymore.

Disappointed, this store has been declining over the past few months and needs help. Its open late which is nice, but often times there is only one lane open causing longer waits. Management standing around while customers are waiting to be checked out doesnt give the best image for the company.

Love my Ingles Market. Best produce in town and great selection of gluten free items. Store is Crazy on game days, but that can be fun if you are a fan.

Ingles is currently my favorite grocery store. They usually have their regular prices about the same as Publix, but most of their sale prices (especially their Manager Specials) are cheaper than Walmart. The gas station keeps their prices almost always the same as Walmart as well. The sale prices and gas points are what keeps me coming back, as they allow me to eat for about an average of $2 a meal while saving some on gas. They always have a clean and bright feel, with the sunroofs adding a nice light throughout most of the store.

Ingles has low prices and the staff are knowledgeable in their area of expertise and they dont mind going above the call to make sure you get what you want.

Plant selection is wonderful

Good variety, fresh sandwiches and fountain drinks, salad bar and hot food bar available, price for sandwiches less than Subway across the street and much better quality in my opinion, I have never been disappointed with the food in the cafe area. Grocery area well lit and organized, clean and stocked up so you can find what you need quickly, prices higher than Walmart but a very nice shopping experience, staff is friendly and helpful, good job people!

Please open an Ingles on the SC Coast!!! Anytime I visit my daughter at Clemson try and hit Ingles as many times as I can. Impeccably clean store, great selection of prepared foods and the cashiers are friendly.

I wish I could shop here more! Love getting food from the deli (esp. $5 meals on Sunday after church, chicken fingers are awesome, as are their apple fritters) in a pinch. Produce selection is also better than others.

Went for lunch SPECIFICALLY for mac n cheese, and these useless people had 0 prepared at noon. Noon. The only time of day they should ABSOLUTELY ensure they have lunch food prepared. Will never go out of my way to eat or buy groceries at this location again.

Honestly the most pathetic Ingles ever. I was there just past 10p.m. this evening. There where like 6 people gathering behind the customer service desk while I was standing by register 7 to checkout. There was not even a cashier to check me out.They where all just standing there laughing and fooling around. All of them did notice me standing there and waited to be checked out. I most probably waited like 3 minutes until someone behind me walked up to the customer service desk and asked for help. The cashier Benjamin came over and looked like he was not in the mood to be there at all. He didnt say a single word. Just grabbed my ingles card and checked me out. You guys must definitely get your customers service together. Product and store is great but service is pathetic.

One of luxury grocery stores in the Clemson area. It has lots of things that other stores don’t have them but it’s pricey.

I dont go often enough, its not in my radius of travel but this is an excellent store with a wide diversity of products. Not crazy about the meat counter, but havent tried it in a while. Great sales sometimes - carry English soap!
