After an exhausting time trying to find a new washer and dryer, we decided to shop local and check out what was available here in town. The big stores do not stock inventory, therefore we would have had to wait up to 2 weeks for delivery. We walked in, they had exactly what I wanted and IN STOCK! Great pricing and great employees.
Customer service is outstanding!! I called early afternoon for a dishwasher install after the company I ordered it from forgot to schedule to put it in. David was to my home in less that two hours and truly saved the day for me! He was very professional, polite, and thorough with the install, and even took the old dishwasher away for me at no additional charge. Thank you so much for the great service!

Hanks Electric in downtown Clermont is a 5 star company. Julie knows exactly what awesome customer service is and really takes great pride in helping her customers. I have dealt with many companys over the years but none of them come close to the professional service and sales that Julie, Hank and their staff deliver and thats is exactly why this company will continue to get my business. The next time that we purchase appliances Hanks is going to get my business as well. Professionals at their finest without a doubt.
Great family owned business, so good to know that businesses like this are still around after 60+ years. There service is amazing and Everytime I need parts, Julie has it or is able to get it promptly.Sometimes I try to work on my own appliances and Jim or Julie able to help me thru the process. I Love this place from the owners to the employees.Its nice to know that wherever I buy my appliances,they will install it and service it if goes bad.I would give them a higher rating if there one!

I had a water heater issue after 14 years in my home. I called, and Julie had a spot for the next day. I had the pleasure of having David came to my home. He was ontime, neat, very knowledgeable and explained things I inquired about. He tested everything with the meter, however was not 100 % comfortable, so he started checking further and discovered the plastic of an electrical part had a little melting to it where the wires go. THIS IS A SKILLED TECH WHO CARES TO DO THE JOB CORRECT!. He fixed everything, It is a pleasure to support Mr. Hank and his business. David is an example of the kind of opertation this truly is.
We recently purchased a new A/C system from Hanks Electric. They were very professional and did a fantastic job on instalation. I would recommend Hanks for any service they provide. After my A/C was installed even Mr. Hanks himself came out to inspect the job for quality instalation. Great job guys.

Way over priced. We had a tech out here to fix our AC and they nickled and dimed us in one year for an amount that we could have had a Brand new unit for. Find a different company if you can. IF you have an emergency, you can still do better.
Last minute call and they were right out. Quality service and was highly recommended to me...and I would highly recommend to you. 👍🏼👍🏼
If I could give zero stars, I would. I wish I had listened to the other negative reviews and not used this company, but we recently purchased a home and knew that Hanks had installed the AC unit and had been servicing it with the previous owner so we decided to give them a shot and purchase the preventative maintenance plan. I ended up having to call and set up a PM appointment even though when I purchased it earlier in the year, I had asked to be notified when they started doing PM visits. Chris came out, and determined that the coil needed to be replaced, and said it was no longer a PM visit but a service call. He left without telling me when the part would be in and when it would get repaired, and disconnected the AC because we couldnt use it. I then had to call at the end of the day to figure out when the part would be in. Fast forward 5 days with no AC, daily phone calls to Jim, and the part finally came in (3 days late). Was told it would take 4 hours to repair, yet 5 and a half hours later it was finally fixed, and I was left with an outrageous bill for the work. So not only did I waste money on a PM service that we never received, I then got a hefty bill for the repair work. To say my experience was a nightmare is an understatement — there are plenty of other companies in the area that actually quote work, will come out and make repairs in the evening and night to get the job done, and keep you updated along the way.

Yes this was THE BIGGEST waste of time and money. I wish I had read these reviews before I hired them, $520.00 dollars later I have a broken microwave and parts spewed all over my kitchen floor. Said they would reimburse me but changed their minds. Not a reputable place and prices way too high.

Called in for a capacitor on an A/C unit and was priced at $50.00. I called several places in Orlando and the average price was $11.00. Part was priced way too high to overcome the drive into Orlando.
Poor service.... took in a beverage cooler and asked them to find out what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix. Dropped it off on Saturday morning then called on Wednesday at 9am because I hadnt heard anything yet. Had to explain to them for the 2nd time what it was going on with it. He(hank) said Ill pass it along to the Tec when he comes in.Ok whatever..... Then at 12 the same day I get a voicemail from them saying hello this is ____from hanks electric, your compressor is locked up so you can pick it up an get your 20 dollars back unless you want us to dispose of it. I had to call them back to ask them how much it would cost to fix. They told me well Ill have to see if I can find the parts and call you back. Ok sounds good since thats what I originally asked them to do........never got the call so I called around 445 just before closing. The girl who answered said didnt someone call you...... long story short I picked cooler back up and still dont know how much it would cost to fix. Hanks was the biggest waste of my time an money. Would not recommend going here.
