The old guy here is very rude, unprofessional an Cero in customer service..I was looking an estimate for fuel pump replacement. He told me: The price depend of the part cost, and I answered: I got the part with me. I just I looking for the labor. The older guy close the door in my face and said install for yourself !!

My grandfather just had a $1000 dollar repair on the vehicle done here, in which I am told the mechanic pulled apart the dash and replaced the evaporator. When the vehicle came back, my grandfather had been driving it with no oil. I had to put almost 4.5 quarts of oil into an engine that takes 5 quarts. Clearly the oil was removed from the engine and not replaced, but Jerry would neither admit that it was his fault, nor accept that he should perform a series of basic checks on vehicles that come into his shop, like other professional establishments do. The vehicle could have been totaled had I not happened to borrow it and discover the problem. Instead of being helpful, he simply told me he wasnt paid to check anything in the engine despite just telling me he replaced the evaporator, which is in the engine bay, and proceeded to yell and cuss me out. I have recommended my grandfather take his custom elsewhere, and I recommend it to anyone who sees this. No mechanic should fail to perform standard checks on every single vehicle that enters his care. No mechanic should ever release a vehicle from his care in literal danger of the engine exploding. Horrible service, horrible attitude!

I dropped my 2007 4.8 silverado off with Jerry via tow truck.It turns out i had a worn cam and bent push rods,lifters etc.He replaced the cam with a 6.0 reman.and new everything else.He had it done in a week at a great price.I would highly recommend him to all.GREAT JOB JERRY!!

Stopped by Mr. Jones shop to see if he can build a new engine for my 1994 Corvette. Spent over an hour talking to Mr. Jones about what I want to do and was very informative and respectful. For those of you that gave this man a one star....ya’ll just crying little snowflakes. Definitely plan on bringing my corvette to him after our conversation

As a business owner, I cannot fathom how a business with such unprofessional customer service can still exist. Being they are off of the main drag, we were driving through town on way back to WPB. Our engine started sputtering. With 3 kids in the car, it was quite concerning. This man has ZERO compassion. Watched him be rude to the lady in front of me and then he proceeded to complain to my husband to move his truck and with rude demeanor, totally unnecessary considering we were parked in front of his business I sparking space. Lol. I asked him if he was able to take a look at our truck and explained our situation. He rudely put his hands up in air and said with a attitude that he doesn’t have time. I can totally understand not having tome but I can’t understand the attitude or the yelling of us to move our truck? We ended up a Bees mechanic shop, they were pleasant and hooked our truck up to the machine. Though they couldn’t fix it, they assured us we would make it home and they were very kind and compassionate to our situation. If your considering Jones, save yourself and call Bees auto repair. Jones is a rude man you and you don’t need that kind of frustration on your life.

Jerry Jones is the best mechanic around. Hes honest and fair. Not the best bedside manner if your car is on its deathbed, but you can trust what he says.

Jones Racing has been servicing my wifes car for a number of years. If you want a mechanic who knows and loves vehicles, this is the place to visit. Ive found the owner to be competent and knowledgeable. Weve had situations where the cost was even much less than quoted. If you are looking for a get it done, no nonsense business, go see Jerry.

Jerry is a very knowledgeable mechanic and Ive dealt with him a few times over the years. He takes the time to explain things and is up front about the costs. Ive never had a problem with his attitude. He will tell you he is hard of hearing and to speak up. To me thats not a bad attitude and the guy knows the business probably better than most people. Jerry is the most honest mechanic in Florida. Sometimes that means he’ll yell at you because your car is a mess. He’s probably right. It also means you will never be tricked, taken advantage of or charged unreasonably. He has saved me so many thousands of dollars I’ve lost track.If you can get over yourself and appreciate the man for the great mechanic he is, you won’t be disappointed.

Great customer service....diagnosed problem and got it solved ASAP

Horrible shop took car in to get the wheel hub replaced. Now the ABS and Traction light is on. Call to talk to owner he said wasnt his problem. Then he proceeded to call me a dumb m***** f***** for not knowing whats going on with the car. This was by far my worst experiments with a mechanic shop. I recommend that you stay clear of this shop

Jerry has been the mechanic for me and my family for about 15 years. He has allways done a good job and has allways been fair and honest. I would recommend him without reservation.

PEOPLE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE ANY ACTION. Learn from me. I didn’t read about Jerry Jones diminar and got SCREW! Left my suv to fix the ac and this gentleman calls me yelling at me to come pick up the car because “ THIS CARE IS A TOTAL MESS” I felt disappointed because I thought that is why you take your car to a mecanic TO GET IT FIX! This person attitude is out of control. Definitely don’t suggest anyone to take your car to this place. Unless you feel you need to be yelled at and make you feel like you are dumb ass. Don’t like to write bad review but I feel is my responsibility. dWA week After giving a review I had to come back and write something else. Beside all the trouble of taking the car here and being yelled by the owner, he also charge me $ 50 bucks thinking that he did something and after taking my car to a real mecanic i found out his diagnostic was completely wrong. Telling that he put AC gas in the tank he lied. Telling there is about 50 pounds of gas when the car only can handle 2 pounds. He most known I didn’t know much about car and took advantage of me. So think twice before taking your car here.

Very rude individual. Just makes you feel like youve done something wrong just by walking in. If he treats potential customers this way Id be afraid to see how hed treat you when you have a complaint.

Stopped by Jones to enquire about installation of an EGT sensor in my truck. The owner appears to be partially deaf, is grumpy, and wasnt terribly helpful, and didnt appear to want to be bothered. Im sure the owner is very competent. But his people skills are so poor that I decided to look elsewhere for my EGT sensor installation.

My husband and I stop to ask info about an old blue Chevy truck he has for sale. I dont know if he for upset bcuz we interup his lunch but HE was Rude so Rude and also my husband try to open the good and he start yelling at him. The excuse he give me is hi dont hear but when i got in my car i saw a female talking to him... My parents purchased a SUV from Jones Racing, Clermont, FL. Here is their story:Jerry Jones, owner of Jones Racing Clermont, FL, who advertises as one of the best auto mechanics in Central FL. Mis-represented the mechanical condition of this vehicle from the start. He told us that he had $3000.00 tied up in engine repair and this included all new valves in engine. He led us to believe the engine was sound. Hubby did not make it home (less than 10 mi. away) before the check engine light came on. Too late in the day to address this, so we parked it in our driveway. The very next day hubby started the engine and there was an overwhelming gasoline smell. He immediately drove the vehicle straight to the Ford dealership. We had to pay $89.95 to have the engine checked. Ford found it to be a leaking fuel injector that was spraying gasoline onto the fire wall and leaking down onto the exhaust system, making the vehicle a potential fire bomb. Ford dealer advised we have the vehicle towed (destination: back to Jones Racing) because it was unsafe to drive. Mister Jones said he would replace the injector. Three hours later Mr. Jones called and said the vehicle was ready. We picked up the vehicle and, again, hubby did not make it home before the check engine light came on. At this point (not trusting to return to Jones Racing) we returned to Ford to have the engine re-diagnosed. They informed us that someone had broken the PCV valve and also that the EGR valve was bad. Both of these valves control the vehicles emissions...the fumes that come out of your tailpipe. When Ford informed us of their results, hubby called Mr.Jones and relayed information to him. At this point we felt taken advantage of but more importantly, that me and my husband were put into extremely unsafe conditions by driving the vehicle off of Jones Racing premises to begin with. We told Mr. Jones we wanted to return the vehicle and be reimbursed the cash purchase price. He responded to my hubby Yeah, well the people in hell want ice water and slammed the phone down. We now have to pay the Ford dealer $350.00, just to make this vehicle safe to drive.Do not do business with Jones Racing, Clermont, FL. Yes I have filed with better business bureau.

Called over the phone to see if he could install an exhaust and his response was “I wouldn’t even be interested in doing it”. Absolutely rude and recommend not going there.
