Great price for a decent course. The layout is great. I like the variation of doing 9 from the whites and 9 from the blue. Greens could be in better shape.

You can see that this course is fair but challenging WHEN IN SHAPE, but I cannot ignore the fact that this course has OBVIOUSLY seen better days. Not sure what they are doing with the fairways, but they were oddly white in lots of areas, and the same confusion goes for the tee boxes because they are either lost and let go or are being treated because they are chewed up. The plus though is that the greens (16/18) were very well maintained and rolled very true. Had it not been for them I would have given the course 1-star. Lovely layout with lots of character - I will definitely be back once they fix these issues. Great little hidden gem of central Florida as soon as they get the ship back on-course.

Played Saturday morning March 27 as a two ball. Another two ball brought another player so can’t play 5 so we were split up. Regardless pace of play was great .... less than 4 hours. Really interesting track and on a value for money scale I would give this 10 stars if I could. We had a great day thanks Swiss Fairways! See you again!

Decent course out of the hustle and bustle Orlando. I like the nature design of the course that perfectly fit into what it is, a ski resort. The owner/manager Joe is a terrific guy and everyone that works with him has been a wonderful host. You rarely meet an old school like him anymore. Hes above all makes the golf fun. Definitely be back again soon.

The guy in the pro shop was a real character, and not in a good way. Course is mediocre.

Overall the course was in fair shape. Some of the greens had some rough spots, but were still playable. The staff there were very curtious and I will go back if I am able.

Had the worst customer experience with the Owner today. Booked a tee time on golf now and they are making you pair up on golf carts with strangers. Saw that on the website but figured they would let me walk. Easy course to walk. Not sure they realize what’s going on in this world right now. I am a former college golfer and scratch golfer. I would have no problem staying ahead of the group. Owner says we are not a walking golf course. Can’t even talk about course conditions because I left after that. Was in the golf business for 8 years and I have never seen an owner act the way he did. Just trying to get out there and support golf courses and that’s the way I was treated.

My son and I played 18 for a very fair price..course is challenging and in decent shape..especially the back 9..also very impressive pro shop..ALOT of inventory..needed a pair of shoes and they had my size (7)!!Well be back 🏌️‍♂️👍

Course is challenging and a lot of fun. You get the most bang for you buck here. The course doesn’t have a starter at the first tee, and isn’t a real stickler on start times, so I’ve been delayed and paired up with another group, because golfers before me were late to their tee times.

Was there mid February. Second year in a row. Will go back again. Course was green and in very good shape

We had the chance to play this hidden gem today. We were meet by a friendly staff, had the chance to Talk to John before our round. Should start of by saying I am a golf course owner. This golf course is a great test of your golf game, from tee, Fairways, greens, it is in near perfect shape. We stoped at nine and had some of there food and if you go there you have to have there sausage, wow. We drove a hour to get there and have been playing 3 times a week and this is one of the best that we have had the chance to play. Great job by, your superintendent, the staff inside and out. 5 stars. Keep it upMichael

Was introduced to this amazing course yesterday and I have to say we really enjoyed it. Fairways were very good and so to were the greens. Staff were very friendly which always helps to create a good first impression. Also loved seeing people water skiing on the lake. Definitely recommend and we will certainly be going back as it was such good value for money.

First time playing out here yesterday. You wont find a better value in my opinion. Staff is fun and friendly. Greens were in great shape overall. Great views throughout the day. Lakes and rural farm areas are a nice change from urban track homes.

You cant beat this course for the price and quality of maintenance that they provide.The course is mostly open but can be challenging at times with slight elevation changes.Ive been going to Swiss Fairways since it was only 9 holes. Over the years the course has had its ups and downs but under the newer management I think the course is in the best shape its been in a really long time. The greens are in really good shape and the fairways seem to be in decent shape and they are currently overhauling some tee boxes and the driving range. This is my go to course when Im in the Clermont Groveland area.

We wont be back. Weve been coming to this course for 5 years during our winter stays in the area. At our last visit we booked three golfers online. We also had one rider. When we checked in two women at the counter actually yelled at us because we hadnt let them know about the rider. We offered to cancel and they grudgingly allowed us to play instead. On our way to the carts the manager came out of the pro shop and called to us across the patio and proceeded to yell at us again. Unbelievable. We golfed anyway, and the course wasnt even in that good of shape anyway.

Great course for the money, sorry to say theyre choosing greed over customer safety and ignoring CDC guidelines on single carts.Very disappointing, we use to play there a few times a month. Not anymore.

This is a great course at a great price. I would highly suggest to book a tee time directly from them versus using the website. The staff there is very friendly and accommodating. My daughter had a great time for her first-ever golf outing. I will go here again whenever I go to Florida. Now if I can fix my slice, I would have a greater time there.

Played golf on 2/25/20. Staff was friendly including cart attendants and we really enjoyed course and course condition. But it was the longest round I can ever remember playing and we gave up with four holes to play. Suggestion: get an active ranger out on course to speed up play.

Utilized Swiss Fairways yesterday for a golf marathon (100 holes... yea I know crazy right?) fund raiser. John and his staff were terrific hosts and we had a great time. He even arranged for it to rain a bit in the afternoon to cool us off... Lol. 😎😎😎 Beautiful layout, especially liked hitting over the water ski course. Highly recommend.

Played on April 3,2018 and the improvement of the greens y/y is fantastic. John Crocker and team were awesome. John has a great story to tell of his history in the game that we had the opportunity to enjoy hearing. Was very pleased with the course condition and the continued improvement. This was further evidenced by the number of cars in the parking lot. A definite great value in price and quality for any golfer.

Great layout! Now that the over-seeding is taking hold, its a fun place to play. Inexpensive and the staff is awesome! Down to earth pro shop making you feel very welcome.

Its been a long time since I played there and I was pleasantly surprised. Greens are ok and fairways are playable. Not a bad choice for the money.

Even with all the thunderstorms yesterday and last night, Swiss Fairways was in terrific shape. A few branches were down but nothing severe. There was only standing water on 2 holes everything else drained very well.

I think Swiss Fairways is Great! I played 18 for $18 with a cart and will do this again tomorrow. The fairways are in good shape, so are the greens. Challenging, fun and moves along at a good pace. Bring a camera this place is beautiful.

I had not been to this course in many years, because of the poor conditions it was in, until someone suggested recently that I give it another chance and it is in the best shape I have ever seen it. Great golf for a great price! Definitely glad that I tried it again.

I have been going to this golf course on and off for the last 20 years, and its it its best shape ever. All brand new carts as well, and I think we even got a 6 pack of beer for like 10 dollars. Its cheap and its fun! Go check it out!

How anyone can post a positive review on this course is mind boggling to me. I have never seen a course in worse shape than this. This included the greens, fairways and tee boxes. And on top of that the guy in the pro shop had the guts to say that the course was in great shape when I was checking in. He was clearly a lost soul and no idea what was going on. This course was an embarrassment to be honest and its a crying shame

Lovely open course with no housing to intrude. In much better condition uder new management. New comfortable golf carts.

Love how open it is. Only problem when its not busy I guess they dont have a full kitchen. They only had Swiss dogs and snacks.

The greens, staff and price were very good. Understand, the course is under new management but the rest of the course leaves a lot to be desired.

It was 90% due to Fairways being dry, pasture like, weeds, grass roots showing thru (good ol backwoods Florida, I grew up here, sooo...

Staff was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Due to their lack of golf carts, We ended up not playing, they would not refund money. There are a lot better courses in the area to play.

One of the worst staffs I’ve ever dealt with. Come in for a tee time at 1:00 and get hit with sprinklers at 5:20. Asked why I got hit with sprinklers 40 minutes before the golf course closes and the person told me to come earlier. Don’t recommend

Easy to book and the price is fair. The golf course is not in the best but whenever we bring guests to play they love to play here. That is why we keep coming back to this place.

Nice course well kept

Tee boxes and fairways in good condition. Greens were average, about 8 on the stemp. It was a windy day so a number of holes was into the wind. This is a par 71 course with 5 par 3 holes. Price was $30 for 18 wgich is good value based on condition. This course is out almost to Groveland, open layout with no housung in play.
