My niece and I wanted to visit Daylight Donuts ever since reading about their opening. I liked the thought of supporting a local business so stopped in and was not disappointed. They had a nice variety of donuts to choose from. I opted for a bear claw with the raspberry filling and a butterscotch crunch along with a cup of white mocha. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the raspberry filling was partly cream + partly jelly. Got the best of both worlds. Unfortunately, I didnt get a chance to eat the butterscotch donut but I definitely plan on returning to try it and another flavor

Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Creme be VERY afraid. Once you try one of the donuts youll never go back anywhere else.

Good donuts. My son really enjoyed the selection. The parking lot is awkward. They also have deli sammies that are not bad at all. Oh and the have a donut breakfast sammie. My wife had it and loved it.

The donuts are some of the best Ive had in all my travels and they have a great selection. The coffee is awesome and they have a lot of different drink options. You should definitely pay them a visit so they can be open forever :)

Loved this donut shop! Fantastic donuts, creative flavor combos, super friendly staff. And last two hours before closing donuts are half price! Definitely try a sour cream donut- amazing! I even liked the chocolate frosted one and I usually hate the chocolate frosting on donuts. Also cant wait to try their sandwiches- they look super yummy.

Mike and Daylight Donuts were amazing! I ordered 25 dozen donuts for my son’s Bar Mitzvah dessert. They delivered -on time- tasty delicious donuts. The kids and adults loved all the different selections. It was wonderful to work with them. Thanks Mike and team!

Good, fresh donuts! Got a long John to try out first visit. Donut itself was fresh at 10:30 a.m. and filling even more, since they fill to order. Filling tasted that fresh.Interesting location (attached to auto service center), but works. Coffee was fine. Not their strong point.

The donuts made in-house are fantastic as well as the breakfast sandwiches. Theres a small but cozy seating area if you want to linger a bit. We brought our kids to a special decorate your own donut event and they enjoyed it. Nothing against chain donut shops, but theres something about small batch fresh made donuts that just taste a bit better.

My wife and I started going there a couple of months ago and were amazed at the size and quality of the donuts. Wonderful!! This time I went and bought a few more and found the apple fritters were smaller, the long johns had less filling (even when you asked them to load them) and the rest of the donuts were smaller. With the prices they charge the donuts should be larger and better quality than now. Never going back, Ill make my own.

They have really great quality donuts that tasted fresh even in the afternoon. I am able to make a special order earlier in the week and go pick it up on the weekend, which is really nice. The apple fritter is awesome and I love the sour cream. The price is also reasonable when some local chains charge twice that.I believe it was the owner who took my order at the counter and he was pleasant and had great customer service. I drive nearly 30 minutes to this location for donuts when a Dunkin is down the street from my house. If you ever consider expanding, come on down to Garfield Heights ☺️

Fresh donuts this close? Yes please. Limited choices for breakfast sandwiches, but what they have is tasty. Nicely spiced sausage, toasty bagel. Their cold brew, notably, does not taste like burnt tires; something I look for in a coffee shop.

Really like the breakfast sandwiches and pretty good coffee drinks. Prices cld be better and service from some employees but not all are bad. The owner and manager is really cool tho and they have a make your on special donut day that kids love!

These are some super delicious, fresh donuts at a great price. Donuts are definitely trendy right now and so many places seem go feel like that entitles them to charge four times the price of these. Unnecessary. Try these, theyre perfect. And half priced after 6pm.

The sandwiches, the sandwiches! Very tasty and the bread is really good! Delicious coffee and I liked a little room left to put in the cream and sugar. Only suggestion is to add powdered cream to choices. A little pricy, but the staff was pleasant to me, and Ill be back!

I like the place its clean and quaint. They dont have a very large selection of food besides donuts. Was a little disappointed that I couldnt get bacon on my breakfast sandwich 😒. The donuts are very tasty though so if you need a quick breakfast and was a donut this place is for you!

I live nearby and had been in a couple weeks after they opened, the donuts are homemade and fresh.The last time I went in I asked for a chocolate cream stick with peanut butter cream.I was told, we dont have any.I said, I was told you will make them to order.The clerk said wait a minute and went into the back.She came back and said theyre making it.I said I wanted it with light filling, they put in too mich for me.She said its already made.I said well I would like one with light filling.She very rudely said well they already made it.I walked out and havent went back.

Some of the best donuts in the area. I have been getting my donuts from them since their opening week. The regular donuts are comparable in price with other shops in the area while the filled donuts are double the cost. The selection of donuts is always full of unique and interesting options...especially the smores donut and the chocolate caramel donut. The staff is always friendly.

Love the donuts - great flavors and you can tell they are fresh. This review is only based on my 1 visit in which I got the Daylight Double (2 donuts with a small brewed coffee for $2.99). The place is new with a lot of natural sunlight inside. The people working there were also very friendly.They also serve sandwiches here although based on what I saw from afar (what other customers got), Ill probably stick to the donuts and coffee here. At least visually and looking at the price of the sandwiches ($8.99), I feel like Im better off going to Paneras or down to Mr. Brisket on Lee Road for a nice corned beef sandwich or Reuben. The sandwiches seemed skimpy. However, again, I only ordered 2 donuts and a coffee and my impression of their sandwiches is nothing more than a look at the price and what I saw from afar. Thus, my 1st visit was a 5 star experience.

Staggering array of tasty cake donuts with fun and creative toppings. Great coffee (1st visit mentioned above was a fluke) time and again, and I love ordering a dozen donuts to share with coworkers via the drive-thru! Be sure to enjoy one of their excellent lunch combos: the sandwiches are fresh and well made, and come with a donut!

Visited first time today. Nice and clean very inviting. Only giving 2 stars for now due to cashier non-comminicative, short answers wouldn’t look at you when speaking, rude. I saw an elderly woman say hello to her she barely spoke. I’ll review the donuts after trying them. But customer service is most important to me. Don’t know if I’ll be back.

One of my favorite places in Cleveland. The staff is great, the sandwiches are amazing, and the doughnuts are to die for. I highly recommend stopping here if you live or are visiting Cleveland.

I was childishly delighted to see two cops in this dounut shop, of course enjoying donuts. There is a nice variety and at an excellent price. I got the Smores and strawberry donuts and found them well sized as a treat and fluffy. The strawberry icing actually tasted like strawberries which is also a big plus. The coffee is locally roasted so youll be receiving quality. Didnt pay too much attention to my environment so I cant comment on that (my focus was on donuts). There is parking in front so no need for quarters. Its a nice place.

This is a lovely little cafe! It is clean, neat, and has cool looking furniture. The menu options are decent and the doughnuts are delicious! They even have a drive through! A nice little get away, great for kids and adults. The customer service is okay, I have never had a bad experience but I have interacted with some disconnected employees, but life can be a doozy so Ill let them slide.There you have it, delicious home made doughnuts in a lovely location. They also have soft serve ice cream, frozen drinks, tea, and of course coffee. But there are way more menu items! Try it out, you wont regret it.😃

Its similar to a starbucks without the Starbucks,maybe I dont belong here feelingIts cozy and roomy and it has a basic coffee shop set up -.I.E.couches, tables, wifi etc..They have a large variety of doughnuts some more creative than others. They also have a little assortment of sandwiches and such.They offer a reasonable amount coffees including the cold brew . They offer some foods and light eats . Its a good place to have a sip or a quick bite .NowFor the other side of the coin.I wanted to know the difference in two similar items . I asked the barista/cashier, what makes the cold brew and a nitro cold brew different . She quickly replies I dont know . And that ended that ......1st She didnt have product knowledge .2nd She didnt seem concerned or apologetic, it was just I dont know .3rd She didnt even attempt to find out or ask anyone .I almost walked out.Its really not ok to not know the product your producing but maybe she was new but it felt more of I dont care .( Thats my personal thought )Its not ok to simply leave the customer to figure it out you items .Whats worse is their was another person there and he was amazing .He knew the ingredients, the processes involved, was very knowledgeable and friendly .She was not engaging or energeticHe was both and inviting.He didnt hear our interaction, but he saw us waiting and discussing the poor service and stepped in.Thing is he was a few feet from her when she made the, I dont know statement .If she cared she could have turned around and just asked .I dont believe everyone is always gonna be stellar, however, as customer service people are concerned, you have to seem caring or at least engaging. The public is what makes or breaks a company .I will still recommend this establishment .And If you frequent here and you see them not doing so good let it be known.If you see them doing great same thing . So this review was going to Start off as a 3 Star however moved back to a 4 Star due to the customer service. This was my second visit the first was at lunch I had a good experience so I thought id go again. I originally wondered why at 8:57 am on a Thursday there were only two staff working. One Staff at the Drive Thru and the other at the front counter. This makes it impossible to make sandwiches and dispense coffee to individual in a timely manner. I waited 10 minutes ( I was the second in line) while the gentleman in front of me made his decision since they were out of plain bagels and then the staff prepared his meal. I only went in for two cups of Coffee and would have went to the drive thru but the line was too long. (that was my first mistake) The counter staff apologized to me and the three people waiting behind me stating they were under staffed. Once the line at the Drive thru was gone Ashley came to the front and help me. She apologized again and proceeded to Comp me one of the two Coffees. She had seen me enter earlier and knew I had been waiting a long time. Daylight, you need to keep her by giving me the free Coffee she not only earned a better tip but she earned my business again. The location is so convenient to my work location I would hate to have to go down the road to another national coffee chain to spend my BUCKS. Way to go Ashley nice job I will be back. Oh and by the way they have really good sandwiches for lunch and the Donuts are fresh and out of this world.
