They had the refrigerator in stock when ours broke down. Other stores are currently on a two month delay. It was great to get what we wanted when it was needed! We also purchased a large capacity washer there over a year ago and it is still working great! Its definitely a great place for good deals on appliances.
The compressor went out on our freezer late morning. I went to L&B Appliances on Durkee Rd.and picked out another freezer that was in stock and it was delivered about 10 minutes ago on the same day! Customer Service top rated!! One happy family thanks to L&B.

I wrote this review with my son-in-law, Andrew, posting it for me.I have purchased appliances from L & B in the past, as has my son, John Payne from Delano, who has purchased all his appliances over the years with L & B. We both have been very satisfied with their service and quality. I have hired three different companies over the past few years to clean my dryer vents, with them all doing an incomplete and terrible job. When my dryer caught fire, I decided to try to get the vents cleaned again, so I asked L & B for a recommendation. They recommended me to Ryan Hutto of Elite Vents, who cleans all types of air ducts and dryer vents. He did a very thorough job, removing bags and bags of compacted lint. He had all the necessary equipment to properly and thoroughly clean my vents, unlike the previous companies. In addition to his great service, he could not have been more professional and nice. We had some trouble with our dryer a few months ago and called L&B to come and fix it. They gave us the appointment date and then called the day BEFORE the appointment date and said they were on their way. We had to quickly clear out the dryer space for them before they arrived having not expected them until the next day. The repairman, who was curt and unfriendly, replaced a part in the dryer and it was working again. I asked him before he left if it needed a new timer because I suspected that it did. He said that the timer was fine and left. Two months later, the dryer completely stopped working. It was the timer. We called L&B again and they wanted to charge us the full amount to come out again even though they were just here and I asked about the timer while they were here. Where is the pride in their work? We had just spent almost $200 to get it fixed the first time only for it to last two months. Needless to say, we did not go with L&B Appliance for this repair.
Horrible experience! They diagnosed my refrigerator wrong( spent 200 dollars) only for it to break down again just a few weeks later. They told me it was going to cost 400.00 dollars to fix it again. I had already paid them the first time to repair the fridge.These guys are a bunch of uneducated scammers. Stay away from them. Unless you like wasting your money

I went to L&B to purchase a washer and dryer set. Hemphries was very friendly and answered all my questions and I was able to fill the finance application and set up a delivery time all while on my lunch break. I had looked at the units a couple days prior, but checked with other places to be sure. I went with L&B because they deal with appliances as opposed to other places where appliances were just a part. Also three different people recommended them as a good place to go. Then Mickey came to deliver my washer and dryer just a couple days later and he was also very friendly and he was able to remove my old units and install my new ones in a fairly short time. I would recommend L&B to anyone.

After discovering that none of the Kitchen Aid authorized repair companies locally were willing to repair our non-operational built-in Kitchen Aid refrigerator, it was L&B to the rescue! Jonathan correctly diagnosed and today has fixed our problem! It was not an easy job but it was handled very well and Jonathan was very cautious with our wood floors! Highly recommended!
I have had several experiences with L&B through the years of living in Cleveland they have all be 100% positive. They have helped me fix my dryer twice now having the part I need in stock both times at good prices. I go pick it up same day and I can get back to laundry thus avoiding a laundry mat. The guys in there are so knowledgeable and willing to help with suggestions too!At a different time, I had service on my dishwasher through warranty. The guy walked in and immediately identified it was a drain hose issue. He corrected quickly and it 100% fixed the issue without parts needed or even uninstalling the dishwasher! It was great!Definitely check them out first for appliances, appliance parts, and service needs!
Lets just say I tried to get a crash-course in dryer repair from YouTube and things didnt work out. I contacted L & B and someone was at my house the next day. Our 30 year old dryer has been revived! Great service, great people, great value, and they were very responsive.
I really like L&B. I have bought 2 refrigerators from them in the past year. 1 for my home and the other for the office where I work. Their prices are always lower than the big chain stores and the offer free local delivery and will haul off the hold one which is a great service.

They dont go under a house. I had to hire H&A company to go unclog the hose. So L&B worked inside the house while the H&A company went under the house. Someone did not hook the hose to the floor causing my laundry room to be humid and full of dryer lint. Because this happened inside the house I called L&B and they were sending someone today to fix this. They called and said, I told you that the hose was damaged by an animal or something and needed to be replaced. This was a complete lie he never told me that an animals cannot even get under my house it just wasnt connected. So I called his boss and told him that his Guy totally lied to me. He says I have to have the H&A people come out to fix this. If its inside L&B should fix it plain and simple. I feel ripped off and Im not happy.
Their prices are great, however dont expect the appliances to function properly for more than one year. I bought a whole kitchen set, mini freezer, and stackable washer dryer and they all have broke down, within the first year. I paid as much as I would have at Lowes or Home Depot as they were higher end, currently Im using a mini fridge and draining my washer into a shop vacuum. Also they the installers broke the water line into the fridge when installing it. Would not recommend.

Not a happy camper. Feb. 13 I ordered a Whirlpool double oven range w/white finish. Originally told it would be available on/about Feb 28. Feb 28 came and went with no word. I called store early March. Was told new delivery date was slipped to Mar. 12. Still no word,so we went to store today, Mar. 15. This time they gave a window of Mar. 12 to 28. My big gripe is why doesnt the store follow up and keep the customer informed? Why do I need to keep seeking answers? I placed the purchase on my card, and am payingi interest on an appliance that apparently been built yet..,,Sad Ed
Customer service is not the first priority. Extremely condescending and no communication if the part does not come in. I stayed home from work and was never told that they were not coming to repair my washer. Unbelieveable! When I called to inquire, the manager said, oops. I lost a days pay and they did not even offer an apology. Simply, asked what I wanted them to do about it. I believe that L&B should at least have the common courtesy to communicate that the part did not come in and let me know that they needed to re-schedule. Extremely unprofessional attitude and behavior. I will not buy anything from this location and give them -5 stars, if I could. WATCH OUT!!!
Whirlpool 2K Fridge w/Extended Warranty Purchased. These folks came out 4 times and after a month w/out a fridge I still have an average of 54 degrees internal fridge temperature. Went out there to show where I had been keeping record of unacceptable temperatures and was told I would have to call Home Depot and get them to send someone else because they couldnt fix it. It was a total mess. 1st Guy said it was compressor. but he wasnt certified to replace it.....Another guy would have to come fix it. 2nd Guy was supposed to replace compressor but stated he replaced something else. 3rd Guy came by looked at it..said he would order a board. Board came and was installed...and still not working. Original diagnostic said compressor..that was never addressed again. Waiting for Home Depot to do something about it....But If they try to send these guys to fix your appliance be prepared to be without it for a VERY long time.. 1 month and counting w/out a fridge. When the board was replaced I was asked what I kept the temperature in my house (74 with central h/a) because if the inside of the house got warmer during the day it would affect the way the fridge cooled. Please...there are still people in the U.S with no A/C at all in their homes and it does not make their.fridge 54 degrees. Not sure if they dont know HOW to fix it...or wont because they only get paid for the 1st trip they make. That is not how a warranty works...Fix or replace...Really disappointed in them...had previously bought washing machine from them. NEVER AGAIN!9-26-18 UPDATE: Warranty folks finally got somebody else out here to look at fridge..Guess what? It is the compressor...the first thing L&B diagnosed and then didnt fix...Fixed other things instead!
I have an older Maytag dryer that suddenly quit. Me being stubborn decided to fix it myself. The parts guy at L and B was extremely helpful. He took the time to test the sensor that I THOUGHT was the culprit. Most stores would have sold me the part (that I didnt need.) Very happy with their customer service and when its time to replace, I will be back!

If I could give L&B Appliance fewer stars I would. We had them out a few times for the same issue and they were unable to fix our Whirlpool fridge that was only 2 months old. On my scheduled service day (which they confirmed for me), I had to call them after waiting well past my service window, only to have them tell me that they werent coming. They said that I had the appointed day wrong. The second time this happened I was told that it wasnt their fault and I should just find a new service company. They were completely rude and disrespectful. Save your time and your money and use someone else.
We used their repair service. The tech was nice and courteous. We had some issues and confusion with the pricing model, but the company was kind enough to clear everything up in a respectful manor.
Just went in to buy a new washer dryer combo and picked what I wanted the seller gave me a price then when I was checking out the manager said the price was wrong and he took over and added almost 300 dollars to the price. When I asked why I was traeyed rude and told he was the manager and he could change it to whatever he wanted. Will not be back.
These people dont deserve half a star. Their customer service is nonexistent, and I do not recommend them to anyone. Do yourself a favor, go online and buy your part--L&B probably doesnt have it and are rude to boot!

I would not recommend L&B Appliances repair service. They looked at our dishwasher last week and it is going to take a week to get the part, more than a week to get the repair done. I can order the part myself and have it here overnight but they say they will not install a part I order (even though it will be a genuine Whirlpool part), that it would void the warranty on the part. Crazy.
I called in to see if they had an element for my oven... instead of taking the time to check to see if they had the part they told me to come in w the broken part... then I go in w the part and what do you know they dont have it. Sure wish I didnt waste time out of my day to drive across town for them to tell me they dont have it. I wont be back!

Alright guys just a heads up about a local business that I would stay away from. L&B appliances in Cleveland tn. So...... I just deleted everything I just typed because it was way to much just to say. WEVE ALWAYS HAD PROBLEMS WITH THESE PEOPLE SINCE WE FIRST STARTED DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM, ITS OUR FAULT WE KEEP GOING BACK. I GUESS FOR MORE PUNISHMENT!!! The refrigerator is less than one yr. old. It suddenly decreased in temp. L& B made service call & determined no problem was found based only on the present temp.eventhough I had decreased the temp. manually. When he called tech support, he stated the prob. had begun 2 days ago, not 2 wks. ago as I reported. When I informed him Kens appliance had resealed a damper, he didnt know what a damper was or where it was located. I still have the problem & the warranty is almost up. I suppose that was the plan anyway per Whilrpool/ service companies with contracts to repair. This is my 2nd defective new Whirlpool. Will I ever learn?

Horrible customer service! They werent clear on prices and when asked about it we were told that we were being jerks and trying to steal from the company. They tell you one price then change it at the register. When asked for an apology because of there attitude we were asked to leave the store. The manager got in my husbands face and was very volatile. Im all about local business but this place is not worth it. I would give negative stars if I could. When im looking to drop $1500 for a washer and dryer Ill go to lowes from now on.

Had the purchase a new washer/dryer combo only 18 months after I purchased from here. Needless to say when I tried to get tech service I was met with lazy, poorly communicated, and rude service. I will NEVER deal with these folks again. Doesnt deserve the option to get a star!!!
