But thats understandable as its nearly impossible for them to give such huge discounts on bestselling books.I highly recommend buying classics here because they are generally $6 each (before discount) and the collection is decent as well. So if you buy 3 or more classics then they will generally cost you around $2 each. Thats dirt cheap!

Super cool little book store. I really love the books being horizontal, it is much less overwhelming to me this way. They have SO many books, and tons of great best sellers. The books are organized by genres looking down one way, and other genres coming from the back of the store. Prices are great too! Dont miss out on this little gem!

An amazing store to go putz around in. Maybe not the best place to find a specific book, but an excellent place to discover a book you didnt expect. With the discount pricing its practically impossible to suffer buyers remorse.

Book book selections disappointing

Spent an hour visually scouring the shelves. In the end, decided on four books. When I got home, I found that the original list prices had been augmented before the discount was calculated. One book listed for 29.95 but it was on the receipt as being 33.95 and another had a list of 22.95 but on the receipt was shown as 24.95 before discounting. This is called padding. If you choose to buy, watch the checkout.

This is a quirky bookstore with a lot of nostalgia. It kind of reminds me of a scene from a Harry Potter movie. There are plenty of nice books and if you buy three they will give you 70 percent off. Its not your traditional book store yet they have plenty to choose from. Their strengths are cool coffee table books and great customer service.

There are so many good books here thats unbelievable. Its also unbelievable how difficult it can be to find those good books. Everything is at a super discount, more so if you buy more, but everything is totally unorganized. Its not the fault of the staff, its because people think that because its a discount book store they can be slobs. I love this place.

Warehouse style bookstore with steep discounts!! Great way to lose and hour or two during the day discovering new books! I loved it, but Im a bibliophile. This place is fantastic! We found six random new books, including a crochet kit with tools and yarn, and only paid $33. It would’ve cost more for just two of the items at a regular book store. But they have an incredible selection of just about everything, including best-sellers, and I easily find dozens of books Id like to get on every visit. They have a great teen and kids section as well.All books are brand new.Buy 3 or more books and get 70% off the cover price. Depending on the mix (paperback vs hardcover, kids book vs larger novel), we typically spend between $5 and $8 per book.

I have never left this bookstore with less than 6 books, usually average 10 actually. You cant beat the prices (70% off the cover price when purchasing 3 or more), the staff is always helpful without being at all pushy, and the atmosphere almost demands that you roam and peruse to your hearts content. Always a great selection no matter what Im in the mood for. Horizontal Books is one of my favorite guilty pleasures.

The books need to be searched by classification that is written by hand on the rack pillar.I was surprised by the innovative sales method, but I enjoyed the fun of visiting a secondhand bookstore even though it was new. And for some reason it was new, but there was no discount rate, so I was surprised!
