Staff was very helpful. Had to exchange nonfunctional item. After quickly verifying it didnt work, went and got replacement and tested it to be sure it worked.

Always good service and whatever I need.not large like a home Depot so helps easier to find.

Been shopping here for years. I only go to the big box stores if it’s something I can’t get at Ace because Ace has better service and it’s easier to park, go in, find what I’m looking for, and check out. Time is money and I don’t mind paying a bit more for service and convenience.

The manager Edwin and his staff went above and beyond during my recent shopping experience. They provided on-the-spot delivery for an item that was too large for my car. They have earned my respect and all future business!

Ive shopped at this ACE Hardware store many times since moving into the neighborhood in May. The store is kept clean. The staff is always helpful, weather I need new keys, painting supplies, gardening tools, special light bulbs, you name it! Even when it was an odd request, such as a tool belt for a 5 gallon pail, the staff knew just where to look for the item - and the item has always been in stock. My latest was a soldering gun. I called the store and was told they have them. When I got there, a young man led me directly to the section and showed me some options.From the inquiry phone call to the polite woman at the check-out, I love this ACE Hardware store. Im happy that its my neighborhood store.Also, they practice safe-distancing and everyone properly wears a mask.

Mostly me not looking at everything they had on the checkout table .But funny how store pitches there the neighborhood go to has a 25 dollar off coupon on the stand but the cashier doesnt want to tell you about it. Then they hand u your receipt u see coupon ask is this for everything like the 40 I just spent . Answer is yes. So can I use it now. 🤔 no you cant you already bought something today.

Ace Hardware is a gem of a hardware store. They may not be as big as the blue or orange stores, bit for what they fall short of in size, they make up for in convenience and high quality staff. Ace Hardware sometimes gives the impression of being high prices, but that is not the case. Ace Hardware is extremely competitive with the big boxes. They have a variety of tools without the excessive number of brands. You can get in, get what you need and know youre still getting a quality tool backed with a quality warranty. I like Ace and like giving my money to a local store. I hope you will join me in giving them your business too.

Salesperson just stood there waiting for me to give him the answers when it was me that needed the assistance in the store. As I looked around I noticed it was way overpriced. I wont go back ever.

I hate to shun local business, but, when you go in as soon as the place opens and they tell you they cant make a duplicate key because his guys are unloading a truck with $15,000 of product is ridiculous.

I like Ace because its close to my house and usually has what I need. Its a quick stop for me when I need a part. The price isnt always the best but it is convenient. Use the Ace rewards or coupons to help with the cost.

This hardware store has wonderful gift ideas. Beautiful things including bird food food...feeders...and gift items. So it is fun to go there. I bought a really beautiful Christmas wreath there 1/2off which was attached to a weathered window frame.

My husband and I have been long-time customers of Ace Hardware at Kamms Corners, since their opening, also an Ace Rewards member. Today, June 17th at approx. 1:25 p.m. my husband tried to exchange a $15.99 gas valve (SKU #40559) because it was the wrong valve for a different gas valve. The incorrect valve was bought less than an hour before. His receipt is time stamped 12:35 p.m. He also wanted to buy at least $100 of additional merchandise. After not being able to scan the bar code, the clerk called a woman associate (maybe the manager?) to see if she could get the bar code to scan properly. When she could not, she accused my husband of trying to scam Ace, that he did not buy the valve there -- when in fact, he had the receipt and was there -- verified by the clerk -- less than an hour before. We own two houses in West Park and are a regular long-time customer. The associate, and unfortunately, my husband did not get her name, handled this situation very, very poorly. We will never shop here again.I am editing my review because the owner contacted my husband and more than rectified the situation. I have since shopped there regularly and consistently had the best customer experiences, as recently as last Sunday, the 20th. I am glad they are in my neighborhood.

Steve Hrabak is the best out there and Ace Hardware is very lucky to have him! I was doing an installation of a bathroom sink and sent my father to get parts, as it turned out I had to go back. As I am not a plumber I tried my best to explain what the situation was but to no avail. Steve graciously went ABOVE and BEYOND to actually COME TO MY HOME and see what I needed, helped me to understand and I went back to Ace to get the part. I can’t tell you ENOUGH about how thankful I was to have had his expertise! Customer service is few and far between these days, however, Steve exemplifies the true meaning of that. Thank you,thank you Steve 😊 Truly a star employee and a bigger human being!

I work next store and I just have to say they are great here. I needed assistance with a client that I couldnt get out of a chair. They came over and helped me get this man out of the chair. They went above and beyond. It is a great store.

Came in three times to have them match paint...1. Came in with a paint chip from my porch...they mismatched it.2. Came in with a sample of the mismatched paint to get more of it so I could at least finish the job in a consistent color...they mismatched that.3. Came in to explain how they messed up twice, the manager who had no authority apparently tried to come up with every excuse as to how this was not their fault, then eventually offered a free can, which was, admittedly, generous. She then proceeded to make my EXTERIOR paint color in an INTERIOR base. When I pointed this out she indicated that she did want to call the manager that actually had some authority to deal with this. This was after an hour of dealing with her.3 tries, 3 fails. Dont bother with this store. Went to Home Depot for some other paint and they matched it perfectly. As much as I liked the idea of having a store like this in the neighborhood, its not worth the hassle.

Came in today to get a copy of a key made. Was greeted by a very friendly employee who asked me if he could help. He cut a copy of my key and I was out the door in 5 minutes for less than $5. Fantastic service. Had previously tried both Home Depot and Walmart & neither could make a copy of my key. VERY satisfied with AH!

Horrible customer service no one knew what they were doing, i couldnt get any help on how to use the machine i was buying because no one even knew how to turn it on. Had me waiting for long time because the guy that had the keys had left and took the keys, supervisor was very rude.

We come here any time we need glass cut for a job, they always cut it perfectly even when asked for the most precise cuts.

My issue with Ace is that EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE ASKS IF IM FINDING WHAT IM LOOKING FOR even when Im looking at what I came in for and regardless of the number of employees on the clock at the time...and they dont seem to be aware of other area pricing either.

Very close to home and they have everything I might need. Very helpful and beats the box stores (blue & orange in colour), who go out of their way to help you !!

Closer to home and generally more helpful people than Lowes or Home Depot. Cant always get everything I need but a faster and much more pleasant shopping experience than the bigger stores.

The lack of personal assistance is very disheartening. I bring an example in of what I need, I get told Aisle 6. I flounder for well over 20 minutes and try to get ANYONE to help me. I finally snag some body and am told, hes helping another person. He actually was stocking. I tell the cashier that I should have went to Home Depot at least I would have been helped there and she looks at me like she couldnt care less! So much for trying to shop local.

Our first visit to Ace hardware in Kamms plaza. Must say, as we entered, we were asked about assistance. Very soon afterward questions were answered and we left with what we wanted.Dont see this much anymore.Impressed.

Im 77 years old and spent some 40+ years in sales. I was always very mindful of customer service and it always paid off somehow. I thought that I was pretty darn good....until I met Steve Hrabak at the Kamms Corner Ace Hardware. After failing to adequately explain my plumbing problem to Steve, he solved the problem by jumping in his car and coming over to my house to see and solve the problem PERSONALLY. Ive been to many similar hardware stores over the years and have never even come close to that kind of personal service. It would serve Home Depot and Lowes well if they could have each of their sales people spend a day or even a few hours with Steve to see what a TRU professional looks like. Many thanks, Steve.
