I fix and repair small engines so this little shop has served me well for odds and ends parts I need. The mechanic who I was trying to explain something to repeatedly talked over me and when I finally did get a word in he said WHATEVER and walked away. He was wrong and if he would have listened to me it was a very easy concept to understand. I dont need to spend my money and send people to a place where Im disrespected like that. These small businesses wonder why people continue to buy things on amazon and at big box stores...

As soon as my part came in they squeezed me in and had it fixed for less than they quoted. It took less time than They thought and I’d rather have a good surprise than a bad one. Very friendly people definitely will bring it back at the end of the year to have it gone over and ready for next spring

Pull cord on my snow blower snapped when I tried to start it before the first snow of the year called Job Rite Mower a local Parma, Ohio business and asked about getting a replacement was told it would take a couple of days but if I took off the assembly and brought that up she would replace the cord and have it ready by end of the (business) day only cost me $20 instead of $50 + and wait time. Im definitely going to take my lawn edger up there this spring great service and reasonable prices

I took a Sears leaf vacuum (blower) here for repair due to a fuel problem. I was greeted promptly and courteously. They helped unload the machine from the truck. Just nine days later I received a call telling me my blower was fixed (needed a new carburetor). I did not have a vehicle available at that time to return the machine to my residence so I asked for their delivery service. The machine was delivered on the day promised with the old carburetor attached in a bag. I promptly put the blower into service to remove the leaves from the previous storm. They lived up to the name of their business Done Right. The blower was restored to its previous status! This was worth every penny I paid for their service and delivery.

Warning!! Do not trust this business. I took my lawnmower here to get it fixed this past winter 1 months before I needed it fixed (with snow still on the ground) figuring that was plenty of time to get it working......not even close. When dropped off I was lead to believe it just needed a simple tune up. A month later when I called to check on it they hadnt even looked at it. Not even once did I get a update from them. The simple tune up turned into them replacing basically everything and costing me $250 to fix a very rusted 9 year old lawnmower that I could have replaced with the $250 they charged me. To top it off it didnt even start when I got it back. Called them back within a hour of picking it up and was immediately accused of breaking it. When I told the owner I didnt appreciate being accused of breaking a lawnmower they were unable to fix I didnt even get a apology. In regards to Job Rites reply to this review I find it hard to believe asking someone 3 times if they tipped over their lawnmower after they explained they didnt use it at all to be helpful to a customer, I would think Im sorry to hear that, bring it back on up and we will figure it out to be a more appropriate response. Yes I did get a quote about a month after dropping it off and at that point my hands were tied because the city was already threatening me with fines because my grass was so long which I explained to Job Rite yet they never offered to let me borrow a loaner mower which I only found out existed by looking at their website trying to find a number to call and place a complaint. If youre minimum one month behind making a repair it sure would make sense to tell a customer that day 1 when they drop off their lawnmower. I would have thought your busy season started when the snow melted, so no I didnt keep that in mind and find it crazy youre still making up excuses for your horrible service. ***Update = 1 year later tried to start the mower that I did winterize properly and will not start. Purchased a brand new lawnmower for a fraction of what Job Rite charged for their repairs.***

This week I brought our mower to Job Rite for repair. The job was done quickly, and we received a call as soon as the mower was ready. The people there were very nice, and took the time to explain what had happened and to answer our questions about maintenance. The fee was fair, and our mower runs like a top.

I had a snow blower 10 years ago but moved to a condo so I sold it because I no longer needed it. I used to use Job Rite for the annual tune-up and had never had a problem with their service. I dont know if they changed owners since then because their customer service and professionalism is now utterly the worst I have EVER experienced.Last year my one year old snow thrower burnt a drive belt and I called Job Rite to come and pick up for repair. The person they sent was not friendly and his communication was at best a few grunts about well call when its done. Two weeks later I had not heard anything and stopped in on Saturday morning because I was in the neighborhood. I was told that the part was on order and they expected it on Monday. Guess what? Another two weeks went by with no call. I called and was told the part was on back order and should arrive by the following week. Again, no call at the promised time. They had my snow thrower for over a month. I again called and was told that they could not find the part (again it was only a year old so the part should not have been discontinued) so I asked if they could call someone else for the part? Yeah I guess I could look around the person on the phone answered. A week later and with the winter snow ended the snow blower was finally delivered.Since the winter and snow were over by then, I put it away for the season. Last month I took it out of the garage and started it up again. It began to sputter and smoke and all I could smell was burning rubber before it seized up and quit.Three weeks ago I called Job Rite and told them what had happened, that they had it for weeks, were difficult to get a correct answer from and that the same problem had happened again! I said it was apparent that they didnt fix it correctly even after having it so long. The person on the phone said Ill call you when Im in the neighborhood to pick it up.That was three weeks ago and I guess that they havent been in my neighborhood because I have never heard back from them. Last Wednesday I called Sears and they came out on Thursday and fixed at my home in less than an hour. The tech told me that the wrong belt had been used causing it to burn and seize again.I will NEVER again use Job Rite in Parma and will never recommend their service (or lack of it) ever.

This little repair shop is the nightmare when it comes to customer service. Very rude personel. Tried to reason with them about the problem I had with me weed wacker, was told I had no idea what I was talking about. Told the guy to replace fuel lines on the weed wacker, he took the job and then never called me. When I finally decided to drop in and check on my stuff he told me about million other problems with my wacker not even touching it. Anyways, one hour of their labor is 60 bucks, like they fix jets their or smth. Very unprofessional. Cant wait to see them go out of business so that people wouldnt have to deal with their BS. Wouldnt recommend this place to anybody.
