I saw a few others on here mention they ordered holster many months ago and order processed, money taken but no holster and now site down, phones disconnected, does anyone know if they closed for sure and we need to go through our credit cards to get money back.

Winthrop Holsters has an insane level of customer service at the retail store. I suspect that most of their sales are online, but it is worth a special trip to Lakewood Ohio. Made in the USA and not expensive. My P238 ( Baby Bear), is pictured in its well-worn Winthrop holster.

Does not answer the phone or respond to email.Guess they just dont like selling holsters.

Over two months since my order and not contact. PayPal is assisting and Im glad i use them for the purchase. Winthrops website is down and their numbers have been disconnected.

Purchased an appendix holster for my EDC, and a 3 o’clock for riding my motorcycle. They have been tossed around and worn every day. They both look brand new. Top quality materials, and amazing production value. I’ll be back in very soon to buy another holster or two.Edit : I carry a S&W Shield.

Closed, took money no holster!

My gun starting fitting a little lose after about 4 yrs and I called them and they was the most polite people I have ever talked to. They told me to send it back and they would restitch it. They had it back to me with in 7 days at no charge and my gun fit tight again. Great people to deal with. I will be buying another one for my other gun. Thanks winthrop.

I own several holsters from this company all of which exceed the quality for the price. Most recently I had a full on custom exotic holster and mag pouch made for a full size 1911 with a threaded barrel. Not only was the wait time minimal the quality and care put into this combo is out of this world. Customer for LIFE great job.

I have carried the Winthrop Covert exclusively for the past 8 years. First with a S&W M&P Compact and now with a M&P Compact 2.0. I recently decided to change weapons. This place is totally awesome. I bought an inside the waistband holster and the 100% leather quality is amazing. Its very comfortable and very well made. I like that you can bring your gun in and actually try out the holsters unlike most gun stores. The guy that worked there, I dont know his name was totally professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. Im very happy with this holster that they make on premises. I rarely come across a store like this. I only gave it 5 stars because thats the max, ha.

I have a friend that has been telling me to visit Winthrop for three years. Decided it was time to get a new OWB holster. Swung by on Wednesday. Staff was friendly and we talked about holsters. Being a south paw, they didnt have the particular model I wanted at the store, but they had them at the warehouse. I liked how the right hand holsters craftsmanship and how it looked. They offered to have one delivered to their store in two days or we discussed their website offered free shipping. I ordered later Wednesday and will have my new holster Saturday at my door.

I personally own three different types of Winthrop holsters for two different guns. I have owned these holsters for over 8 months & the best way that I can describe them is simply this,...a High quality, custom made & stitched holster at a reasonably fair price for the individuals that are not wanting to be forced to endure the completely overpriced holsters that seem to saturate the market.In the past I bought a couple other more expensive brands trying to find the right fit but none seem to break-in & carry as comfortable as my Winthrops.I ordered all my holsters through the Winthrop online store and later called to order some additional snap the dot locking snaps and their staff was very polite & helpful.One last positive & important note that should be a concern to all citizens about this company is the items are Made in the USA !

Order holster, received 3 days, first pocket holster that fits right, and works with no hangups, rear sights would catch on lip of others, this holster has a notch cut out for the rear sight. and works well thank you tom

I called to place my order on a Thursday morning. The OWB holster for my XD9 Mod2 was not in stock in brown leather but I was told they would get one made for me and get it out the next day. Sure enough, my holster was delivered by the USPS on Monday. Cant beat that service!Having previously ordered a belt slide holster from Winthrop, I knew what level of quality to expect but this holster certainly exceeds my expectations. Quality of the leather is superior to most of whats on the market and the craftsmanship is excellent! Im still on day one of breaking but I can already tell this is going to be one comfortable and well fitting holster.Looks like a new gun belt is next on my list to get from Winthrop Holsters!Keep up the great work!

I have tried many holsters before Winthrop, I sure wish I would have started with them. Fits is perfect (IWB dual belt loop) and makes my Kimber Ultra a pleasure to carry all day. The service is A+, any questions before or after the sale, just give them a call.

A very gun friendly store, try your custom made holster before you buy. Ive never had an IWB holster that was so comfortable. Fits my gun like a sleeve after a few minutes of breaking in the holster. Im happy to buy local and purchase USA. I previously had kydex holsters and the leather ones made here dont scratch like the kydex nor do that pinch while against your skin. Staff was welcoming and professional.
