I would trust this shop over a korean auto shop near by . Trust me . Theyre professionals and has specific tools to check for shocks&tire wear&alignments&tuneup. Unlike most of korean places where they trust their feels over tools .

This is shop is very honest and efficient. I had a nail in my tire and was told it was in the side wall and that I needed a new tire by another company. I came to Robbins and Franke with the intention of purchasing a new tire and they assured me that the nail was in a patchable area. They fixed it quickly and efficiently at a very good price. I finally found the time to make this long overdue review -- my family and I have been customers of R&F since 1984. Simply put, Bob is very personable, accommodating, and his ace mechanic Louie always get me back on the road with confidence that the repairs have been done right.

I was in desperate need of brand new tires and a wheel alignment. Most places were closed and or didn’t have the size tires I needed for my vehicle. I reached out to Robbins and Franke tires. They were able to help me the same day. The price for the tires and wheel alignment are very reasonable. They are very professional and knowledgeable. Great place to get quick repairs and tires done. I’m usually in and out the door with minimal wait. Their service is really good and most importantly my car was treated very well. From my experience, most bigger shops like Firestone and pep boys usually leave behind sloppy work. You won’t have to worry about that here.

İ spend more than 1000 dollars for my car fix. They fixed well no problem about that but when I take my car back ABS - ESC OFF LİGHTS was on. Then i told them about it they said its not because of us. Please think about you are giving your car and other day you are taking it back and your lights are on and they are telling you its not because of us ! They want extra 200 dollars for that

Robbins & Franke is a 5 star business. Service has always been remarkable! Bob, at the front desk has always been very helpful. I have no complaints about their services. However, I went there this week and no one in the office or the service areas wore a mask! This needs to change. This is the only reason I gave a 3 star rating.

Stopped in here to have them check on a fairly new tire that was leaking air. Mike got me in quickly. Team was very thorough in looking for the issue, found it, repaired it and got me out the door quickly. Customer service was spot on. Would head back there if I ever needed new tires.

Honest, fair price, quick service.

Price quote on phone to install tires changed by 30% once I got to dealer and waited for 30 minutes. Went from $30 per tire to install tires to $40 per tire. I stated on the phone before I went there I am installing 20 tires. Reason for increase in price was I thought you had 17 inch rims and they are aftermarket rims. I specifically said on the phone I am installing 20 inch tires so to say I thought you had 17 inch rims didnt sit well with me. 30% increase in price is significant. I wanted to like this place because I was referred by a local friend. My local mechanic in Fort Lee quoted $25 per tire and I should have stuck with that. Tires were installed properly, slightly under-inflated but job was ok.

I was very disappointed in the lack of safety protocols at Robbins & Franke in Cliffside Park recently. I use this local business for my car needs and I have always found the owners and workers to be very aware of customers needs. However, in this stage of the pandemic, and the possibility of on-going concerns, there was no notice on the doors and no staff were wearing masks nor maintaining any level of social distancing. I believe in supporting local businesses, especially in their need to rebound in this time. However, I will not be using this local business in the near future or in the future at all. Customer safety and consideration is apparently not a priority of Robbins & Franke.

I took my car in for a free quote to have my breaks and rotors done a few months ago after a friend referred me to them. The brakes were fine for the first month or so but hasnt been the same since. The front desk were courteous and knowledgeable and given a quote. I was called and messages left the next day that the car was ready but not that it needed additional work. When I arrived to pick up and pay for my car it was an additional $150 parts and labor of which they reduced it just $15 for not calling me about the new discovery or message that the bill would be higher than what was originally quoted. I feel that I should have had the opportunity to take my car to another place for a free quote or second opinion but instead they just proceeded with the work and additional charges without verifying with me first. This experience makes it difficult for me to give them a 4 or 5 star rating since once they had my car, they didnt keep me in the loop until the end when it was too late to say proceed or hold off! I hope going forward that they keep the same customer service they demonstrate in the beginning and follow through with it to the middle and end as well.

Although the sales people at the front desk are knowledgeable and courteous... I feel very differently about the tradesmen who do the work here. Two negative experiences for me. FIRST: I had to return for a wheel alignment because it wasn’t done properly AND still pulled one way.SECOND: I bought a Complete set of 4 MICHELIN TIRES. And upon arriving to my home garage, I realized that all 4 tires were not inflated EVEN close to their recommended PSI. With the front Driver side tire UNDER inflated by 5 PSI AND the Rear Driver Side OVER inflated by 5 PSI. And I’ll add that there was NO HIGH SPEED BALANCING DONE. In fact there were weights missing from my Rear Passenger side Rim. I will NEVER go Back. Not risking my wallet or my kids lives with this place.

Had a nail in my tire and desperately needed fixed or wasn’t going to last another hour. Spoke with Joe to make sure they would be able to service my tire and said bring it in now and we will get it taken care of. They took it in immediately, and less than 15 minutes later, the tire was plugged, saving me from having to buy 2 new tires, and provided friendly customer service. Not knowing this tire center was so close, being a loyal customer to one which closed, now this will be my local “go to” mechanic. They left a great first impression, and provide an array of services. I saw they were able to perform inspections, and needing this done as well, it’s convenient, and easy to schedule a day to get this taken care of.Joe and Bob seemed genuine and the mechanic is similar to dreading a dentist visit, but if they make the visit as pleasant and painless as possible, I won’t avoid going to keep my car pristine. Thank you again for helping a minor issue and prevented from becoming something bigger.

These guys are awesome. Every once in awhile my wife or I get a flat, and these guys patch it up in no time, and dont charge an arm and a leg. Tire rotation prices also more than fair. Great neighborhood service. Stay away from the big chain stores, and use these guys.

Im from out of town and hit a pothole that ruined one of my tires. The treads were low anyway so I thought Id better get all four done. I did a quick google search, found the shop, called and they did have my tire in stock. I was on and out in about an hour, everyone was very friendly and I cannot recommend these guys enough.Fast, friendly, and very reasonably priced.

Bob is outstanding. I have never had a problem. He is thorough and answers any questions I may have. I have been going here for three years for both my car and fiances car. The price is always more than fair. Also they are really fast at fixing a flat repair even if the shop is busy. Also, if you go to their website, you can input the type of service that you would like and request a price quote. I found this to be really useful versus other shops in the area.

I needed four new wheels and tires mounted on my car and they did the job very quickly and for a very good price, very friendly and professional people. I highly recommend the shop, good bunch of guys.

Great shop. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Can align most vehicles specifically extended cab pickups. I have a 2015 F350 Lariat 4 door with 8 foot bed and they were able to handle it.

I am so happy to have found this place. I got ripped off by another shop (Woori Autobody in Palisades Park) who do the worst alignment jobs in North Jersey. My brand new Bridgestone tires were bald within 3 months! Trusting their reviews, I took a leap of faith and they did not disappoint. Ivan aligned my wheels and did a fantastic job! He is a true professional and I consider myself lucky that he was the one who worked on my car.Everyone I met seemed very honest, hardworking and good natured. I really enjoyed the experience and will make this my GO TO shop moving forward. Keep up the great work guys!

Absolutely cannot recommend this place; came in for the first time to do an oil change and a tire rotation. Three hours later my car was done but no one called, I had to inquire myself, which is fine.Came back to pick up the car and discovered oil absorbent granules on the grill of the car. Apparently, while changing oil they spilled it all over the engine and tried to unsuccessfully clean up. Now when I drive I contently smell burning oil inside the cabin, not sure how long that will last.Pulled out from the shop only to discover the tires were deflated after the tire rotations. All tires at 27 PSI whereas they have to be at 35. I was told the guy forgot to bump them up, whatever that means.Not a quality place, I would not visit again and would not recommend to others.(Over all of the guy knocked of the price of the tire rotations, but the oil change itself still ended up costing more than a dealerships rate).

These guys are the best. Moved in across the street a few months ago and got a flat. They fixed me in less than 10 min. Just had to go back today and get a valve replaced....same thing done in less than 25 min!!! Stay away from the big tire places these guys are friendly and reliable!

I was looking to replace the OEM Bridgestone Ecopias on my 2016 Toyota Rav4 with a set of Cooper CS5 Ultras. I inquired around between BJs, Wal-Mart, Mavis and several other tire places. My wife suggested I give Robbins & Franke a call as she read excellent reviews on Yelp. So I decided to give them a try. I called to inquire about the tires, got a swift reply by Bob Knaack and he was able to order the tires to have them shipped within two days. Brought the car in that weekend, got the new tires, and they performed a free alignment check. What I especially loved was how honest, no BS, and professional Bob and his team are. These guys know what they are doing and will not pull scare tactics to sell you an unnecessary service. The tires are phenomenal and I will be taking my vehicle to Bob and his team going forward for its maintenance needs.

The price for rft goodyear tire for my car was cheaper then I could find online, And way cheaper then tire shops in nyc, and that was with installing the tire. The toll was worth it. 30 minutes in and out, very satisfied and will be back when another tire grows a bubble.
