This bridal shop was such a great experience. I walked in not really knowing what look to go for. I told Wonee a couple things & she comes back with Gorgeous dresses! She made me feel so comfortable, like I’ve known her forever. She was so careful with dressing me & helping me. I have a beaded/ Swarovski crystal dress. The alterations were perfect & the dress fit me like a glove. I recommend this place 100%. Thank you for making me look gorgeous on my wedding day!

Love this place!! The owner is so sweet and efficient from the beginning to the end. I was wedding dress shopping and went to several dress stores. I felt so comfortable here and appreciated their genuine care and customer service.

Now with covid-19 and extra time on my hand, I can finally write these reviews.I had my wedding dress altered at this place. I must say this place did a phenomenal job. My wedding dress was from Spain and this dress was intricately designed with multiple layers. Not only the lady was very professional, but also very flexible. I had this other place in mind since their quote was more affordable but I am so happy I had mine done here. My dress was phenominal.

Wonnie saved my wedding dress! I strongly recommend her if you are looking for alterations. I brought my dress from Davids Bridal and it was a nightmare. First dress arrived with a stain, and the second one felt two sizes too small (even though it was the same size I had tried on and I had not gained weight). I then exchanged it for a larger size and I was swimming in it. I finally took it to Wonnie and she not only resized it for me, she fixed the bodice as it was lopsided (Ive been told this is an issue with many dresses from Davids). She also added a bustle and was very patient when she had to take it in one more time before the wedding since I lost some last minute weight. She is so kind and has great pride in her work.

Wonnie & her husband are amazing .... they had to alter my daughters dress a bit and did a perfect job... they are such kind ppl .. I strongly suggest this store for your wedding ... thank you again Wonnie for everything you did to make my daughters day magical!!!

I had a delightful experience in ‘for my wedding’ bridal salon. I brought an old showroom piece and Wonnie’s magical hands turned it into a great wedding gown. She was very professional. She keeps up her schedule and promises. She helped me put on my dress. Suggested the right corset for my body structure. She helped me to wear it every time. She fixed the hooks, bustle, repaired all the loose embellishments - the dress looked as good as new. She never missed any of the things I requested her to alter. She listened to all my requests and created a masterpiece out of an old dress. The price was very reasonable and economical. Overall a 10/10 experience.

Ive been coming to Winnie at For My Wedding for years. My first experience with her was amazing. I bought my wedding dress from her boutique and she completely altered and revamped the whole dress to my liking. Her work is flawless, so much that I referred my best friend and sister-in-laws to her and they all bought their dresses and had alterations done by her.Shes so easy to work with and is always on time. I live an hour away from her but still get all my major gowns fitted and altered by her. Im currently getting my maid-of-honor dress altered by her now. She has a great selection of dresses to choose from as well and her prices are very reasonable and fair. Definitely recommend!

I would highly recommend ‘For My Wedding’ to any bride. Wonnie and her husband were so wonderful to work with. They did alterations on my dress and cleaned it for me to make sure it was perfect for my wedding day. I also purchased the most beautiful veil to go with my dress which Winnie helped me pick out and their services didn’t stop there. After my wedding they cleaned and preserved my dress. They were so attentive and caring throughout the whole experience. Thank you “For My Wedding” for helping make my special day that much more special.

Unfortunately I have nothing good to say about this place. When the party went to try on a dress for a sweet 15 the very first time, the Korean lady asked my older in age mother who had accompanied them, to get up from a chair that was there because that was for the person that pays the dress. Very rude in of itself. She let it go. Today one of the girls went to try on the dress they ‘“measured” her for and it was very tight. I asked her over the phone why they didn’t order the appropriate size and the Korean lady said because the bigger size was too big and she had tried on a sample dress and it fit. I am not an experienced dress seller but I do know that all designer’s sizes run very different. She then said that the girl gained weight. I would read past reviews, this seems to be their best excuse. If we want the alterations done we have to pay a separate fee of $65 or we could just forget about that dress and just buy another one. Very simple. I don’t know who in their right mind would think this is the solution. I don’t think someone should purchase multiple dresses as if they were disposable especially when they run over $150.00. I personally have not come into the store and will actually never go now seeing that this has happened before if you look at their other reviews. I have been to places that include the dress price and free alterations but this isn’t one of them. I would recommend looking somewhere else unless you want to deal with this type of policy. Also on a side note, when we were on the phone she refused to keep talking to me because she said I was threatening her when I said I would leave appropriate feedback for the store. Well here you go. This is the experience I personally had with this store. Take it or leave it but don’t say you weren’t warned.

I am having my wedding dress alterations done here and I must say, they’re wonderful to work with! I need quite a bit done to my dress and, three fittings in, I am impressed by the high level quality of the alterations and reasonable prices. Also, the shop is easy to get to from the city on the 159R bus. Would definitely recommend!

Cute little shop filled with beautiful dresses of all different styles. The owner was so sweet and listened to everything I had asked for. She was all about the details when it came to the fitting . I had many fittings to make sure the dress was perfect on my wedding day.

Excellent service. Friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter and I bought a dress for her prom at another store. When we got home she hated it!😞 looked at receipt and it clearly stated no refunds no exchanges....We called For My Wedding and explained our situation. They told us to bring the dress and that they can alter it maybe to her liking. They turned my daughters tears of sadness into tears of joy! The dress is a wedding dress....we wanted to be different, but it had huge flowers on her chest and fit loosely. She felt like she looked like a doll or was on her way to a childs quinceniera. They were honest and gave suggestions on how to take some flowers off, take in the dress, and turn it into a heart shaped strapless. Two weeks later...it was just gorgeous! The work is precise and professional. My daughter was thrilled! For My Wedding have beautiful dresses, great customer service, and on point alterations. Great experience. Thank you!😊

I decided last minute i wanted a real wedding dress instead of the white silk dress i was planning to wear for my wedding which was 3 weeks away. After going to many places just to be told I needed 6 to 8 months to get a wedding dress ordered and starting price of 5k and up for something normal, i stumbled upon Wonnie at For My Wedding. On my 1st appt, i was able to find MY dress, which she had in stock, for a price within my budget and she she had exactly 3 weeks to alter it. She did it like a champ! She spent so much time with me bringing my dress to perfection. She even spent time showing my mom how to tie the corset in the back. She was sweet, nice, non pushy, and she put my needs first. I loved working with her and my dress looks like a million bucks! She has been in business 30 yrs and this is why! I will always come back to her when i need a special occasion dress.

I had a great and wonderful experience at For My Wedding. I purchased an outside wedding dress 5 weeks before my wedding and it was too big and needed alterations. After much searching I found Wonnie and she was able to work magic with just 2 fittings and in less than 3 weeks. The dress fit perfectly and I was amazed on her workmanship and efficiency on my dress. I cannot thank her enough for my perfectly tailored dress.

For My Wedding was amazing!! After going to several wedding dress shops with no luck, I am across this one. At other stores, I felt so uncomfortable with the dresses I tried on (too bulky or heavy). The dresses here were all were comfortable to wear and walk in...it was just a matter of me picking the one I liked. The owner was so friendly and helped me find the perfect dress in my budget. She really cared that I find my perfect dress and made me feel so special throughout the whole process from looking for the dress to all the fittings. Wonnie and her husband were an absolute dream to work with from beginning to end. I always had a vision of what I wanted to look like for my wedding and they made that vision come to life. I knew going into the salon that I wanted a specific Stella York dress but it was so hard to decide because all of the dresses were gorgeous! There are so many designers and styles to choose from for a reasonable price. I ended up going with my Stella York dress and Wonnie made sure that my alteration process went smoothly and exactly the way I wanted it. I absolutely recommend For My Wedding to find your dream dress!

Very disappointed. My friend found a dress there for the bridal party. We all went and got fitted. Her and the gentleman were very welcoming and nice. But I dont think she knew what she was doing. we all tried on the sample dress. She measured each girl with our clothes on after we got out of the dress, (winter time so we all had sweaters) and ordered a size up. I asked her to order my size I wear in clothes and she explained that the dresses are usually ordered a size up because they run small. Needless to say EVERY girl from the bridal party lost weight because the dresses were too loose, this is what she said to us. Originally the alterations were going to be $80 but when we went to pick up the dresses she tried to charge us $120.

I went to RK Bridal 3 times because my sister got her wedding dress there but I found that they were very difficult to work with and provided little guidance. I got frustrated and googled wedding shops near me. I came across For My Wedding and read all of the wonderful reviews. I called them at 4 PM and booked me for 6:30 PM that evening. I went in and Wonnee helped me find my dress right away. It was completely different from any style that I thought I wanted but I fell in love with it. Wonnee and her husband are a wonderful team and its been an absolute pleasure working with them. I am SO happy with my dress and I cant wait to wear it in a few weeks!! Omg Wonnie is a LIFE SAVER!!!! I had originally bought another dress, at another store, where the alterations department screwed everything up. Im getting married in 3 weeks and didnt want to risk not having a dress so I decided to do a glance through at other stores and see what other options I had. Thank God I found For My Wedding on google and decided to stop by. When I walked in and explained to her my situation she felt my pain and right away started pulling out dresses that looked similar to my other dress. The first one she showed me was perfect! I fell in love instantly. She took my measurements told me how she was going to alter my dress and in only one week she made it perfect, INCREDIBLE!!! I am so grateful to her and her husband, they treat you like family! I wish I would have done this from the beginning and not have spent money in a big name store, just a waste. Initially, my mother and I went to Kleinfelds in New York City, believing the hype and thinking we would be remiss not to visit the best bridal boutique in the world. I nearly bought a $5,000 gown but after very pushy sales service and some second thoughts on whether it was the right dress for me, it just didnt feel right. So I started exploring other options. I called DOZENS of stores searching for a particular gown from Morilee By Madeline Gardner and For My Wedding was the ONLY boutique in New Jersey that had it, which led me to make the trip. And Im so glad I did! To start, Wonnie has impeccable taste in wedding dresses and wedding accessories. She is knowledgeable and passionate about design and simply knows her stuff. But beyond that, she was super sweet, compassionate, and overall a wonderful person with a big heart. Searching for the dress to wear on your special day is stressful, and thats the kind of person you want in your corner. From the moment I walked in, she took care of me and gave me 1:1 personal attention the entire time I was in the boutique. The dress was everything I dreamed and more, so I made the purchase. When I called back 6 months later to see if it was on track for delivery, I didnt even have to provide my name. She remembered me right away! She called back diligently with shipping updates and when it arrived, I couldnt wait to go back and enlist her help in finding a veil, too! I really trusted her and she is a great listener. She found me a dream veil to match and even after I mentioned not doing the alterations at For My Wedding (due to my recent move almost 2 hours away), she was incredibly sweet and gave me quality, moulded cups for my seamstress to sew in at no charge! Just the sweetest.Bottom Line: Does this place have the hype of Kleinfelds? No - but to me, thats a good thing. You will experience what incredible customer service is actually supposed to be by going here. And the selection of affordable gowns (that look expensive!) will delight you. You wont regret making the trip.

You build a customer relationship with them that nowadays is very hard to find, and when you are stressed with your planning its a relief to find someone you can truly rely on.Its a small store that makes wonders. You can buy the dress, tailor it, buy the accessories and then store it in a lovely keepsafe box. Even if I go out and spend a lot of time looking for other options -which I always do because I have a hard time making my mind- they proved me that they can take care of everything.

Dont use that place. My sons tuxedos were too large when they get them and the owner did not have any others on the store; he suggested to pay for shipping if they wanted to get another ones.they lost $200 dollars renting those. They have to run to JCp to bought them.
