I had Turkish Tapas Breakfast which was super good. I loved the service here. I also tried their fresh juices. You can seen all the fresh fruits and veggies on the fridge waiting to be juiced freshly for you. They have many tea and coffee options as well. Especially desserts are very good here. One of the best Kunafas I ever had. I highly recommend everything on the menu.

WORST SERVICE EVER and THIEVES! Today, Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Joy Cafe Kitchen, (721 Anderson Avenue Cliffside Park, NJ 07010) there was only 1 server who is most likely the owner and an elderly lady cooking in the back. Running a restaurant with only 1 personnel with every table filled with customers is bound for a disaster. Not only did we (table of 2) waited over half an hour for our food (omelet, juice, and a small platter), but we also waited endlessly for our check. After many attempts at getting the attention of the server, who also was cooking in the kitchen with the elderly lady, he came back to the front to charge us. No apologies or anything being that we waited. Once we received the check at the cash register, we noticed a huge discrepancy. It turns out, the server automatically gave himself a 20% tip WITHOUT our authorization! On the bottom of the check there were the suggested tip amounts and an empty space to leave an additional tip. Not only did this server (possible owner) took it upon himself to add the 20% tip to the total charge of the check, but also wanted us to leave an additional tip per the suggestions. I questioned him stating I did not agree to his self-imposed 20% tip which he automatically took upon himself to add it to the check. He made it seem as though there was a language barrier and said “Oh, that’s ok”, and I pressed by saying “It’s not ok to give yourself a tip when I did not authorize it.” How is a $42.50 with $2.82 tax equal to $53.82? When I questioned him after he charged my credit card, he was saying “It’s ok”, making believe he did not understand what his intention were.Go at your own risk. See receipt attached.

Very expensive place and i never liked it

A bit overpriced but used to be our favorite place. However, there is one lady at the counter who is pretty rude. Its just that one specific lady every time, the other one is nice.

They have marvelous dessert menu. My favorite one is the chocolate cake with strawberry and the staff is also very sweet and friendly

I tried their ice cream. Even though it’s not as tasty as cold stone or hag and dazs, it’s better than average. However, compared to other ice creams places such as Cold Stone, their scoop size is way too small.

Baklava varieties and desserts are very nice.

We waited a lot for our orders even though there was only 1 table in which we had finished their meals. When the food arrives, were disappointed. The rice was mushy, and the chickens were scorched and hard tasteless. The manti was likewise tasteless and had a musty taste. We told the guy at the checkout and he went and told the cafe owner in-laws. It didnt even happen. They didnt come and ask or were interested. The owner of the cafe, Erhan Bey, who attracted attention when we entered the interior, and his wife disappeared after the burnt meals officially ran away and passed by. They didnt appear around until he paid the bill. I could not resist, I called, I showed the plates, they could not say hijbisey. They didnt try to make up for their mistakes either. STRONGLY DONT RECOMMEND. TIME AND MONEY ISRAFI THIS IS! Pity on your stomach !!! (I added the photo of the plate, google reviewse)
