Non technical staff are basically sales people. The manager seems to know a little bit more. Crowded, especially on weekends. Staff, including the manager are in a hurry to deal with overflow crowds. Need technical help? Dont come here.

Wish I could give this place a 0! They offered us 2 new lines, stating that everything would remain the same on our plan/account... on top of this, our monthly payment would supposedly go down. Turned out we lost the mobile Hotspot that we use daily for work. They are straight up liars!

Like the location, i think is spacious enough. Now with covid they have everything set-up for social distances. They was friendly. Andrew tiok care of me Nd provided good customer services and gavenme some extra information that was helpful to me. The plaxe is clean, you can make an appointment or walking. If anyone is ahead of you. They will text you and you can come back in.

I’ve been dealing with cell phone issues and dealing tech support for the past 2 weeks . .Verizon over the phone told me to go to corporate office in clifton and they’ll inspect and i can pick ip a replacement here..when i got to this Verizon store they refuse inspect my phone and said they don’t do that here .. and i wont be able to pick up a replacement phone here as well. this completely contradicts what verizon representative said over the phone. i’ve been dealing with this issue for over 2 weeks. i’ve spent maybe close to 4 hours or more over phone to deal with this between the six times i called them .. verizon had me follow a certain process before they’ll send me a new phone now .finally when they said they’ll replace it but i may be charged $300 if verizon deems the phone to be damaged due to negligence.. I told verizon phone representative that i don’t think my phone is damaged due to negligence but who ever inspect my phone on their end may feel different and i don’t want to mail in the phone to risk a $300 cost.verizon representative said i can come to this corporate office and they’ll inspect if for me so i don’t have to worry about the $300 dollar cost that may or may not apply.i’ve always had a bad experience with verizon corporate office . this is my first time leaving a review. but every verizon corporate office i’ve ever went to. has been mostly been a bad experience .verizon partner stores provide way better service than verizon corporate storesso when i came to this corporate store for verizon. They told me they dont inspect phones and that i can’t pick up a replacement phone at this location..They said they can only help me by giving me an upgrade to a different phone..i dont want a different. i don’t want to have to pay off a different phone.pretty much all in all the service provided to me at this corporate office is pretty much what i expected it to be.. because almost all my experiences at verizon corporate office is the same as this. they’ll only deal with you if they can sell you something .

Wanted to accompany my elderly grandmother to get her a new phone. Was told I couldn’t, even when I saw other groups enter the store without question. Don’t really see what the big deal is in being there for her when there are only a handful of people in the store. Maybe they were trying to upsell her without me knowing. Ive been to other verizon stores and called customer service and was told that THIS was the only verizon store that could help me, and they tell me to call custoemr service and were rude about it. JB was probably the best experience I have had in over 35 years in working with people. JB didnt just carefully go over each step of my phone transfer but was not selling me on anything, but I just wanted to buy from him. Totally present, no pushiness, ethical, thoughtful - Im blown away!! Has Verizon come a long way in creating an awesome customer experience? Or is it just JB that is such a catch?? If I was into stealing employees, and he was looking, I would hire him in a minute! Fantissimo!

I am very dissatisfied with the service and treatment I received from Claudia. She is a Solution Manager but all I have experienced from her is a Problem Manager. I have ordered a phone for same day delivery. I missed the courier and the phone was returned tot he store. I came in to pick the phone up and they won’t release it to me. They claim the courier needs to deliver the package in order for me to pick it up. I am here in the store and cannot pick a phone up that’s sitting in the back.

Helpful staff but they could use a little bit more staff waiting an hour for help with the phone or to buy a new phone just isnt fair and I was told that they were launched but three everybody goes to lunch Ron East coast that doesnt make much sense though my problem got fixed fast its just was a it took them an hour to fix it and I end up fixing it myself as soon as I figure it out that I can fix it myself but the person that brought you in could have told me that the problem to fix how to fix the problem I need more education its coming from. Worst experience ever. I walked in on a Wednesday with a Friend who had to pay a bill. While he did so, I inquired about an iPhone i wanted to upgrade. I had a trade in and a promotion that was offered at the time. I asked the Rep about stacking promotions and upgrades which he stated I could do. I left and returned the very next day to make the purchase. After approaching a Rep (who did not seem willing to help me) I asked about stacking the upgrade and promotion. I was then told i was not able to do this and the Rep from the previous day was incorrect. I pulled out my phone and showed the Rep the promotion and he still was not willing to acknowledge my ability to complete the transaction. Turns out the Rep was not willing to help (most likely because he felt it was beneath him) was a General Manager! I left the store and immediately called Verizon Customer Care and the phone Rep stated and read the promotion verbiage. HOW GOES A GENERAL MANAGER NOT KNOW PROMOTIONAL POLICIES? I spent 2 hours on the phone purchasing the phone only so I could return BACK to the store to pick up the phone. When I returned and was handed the phone, I asked another rep if I should know anything before I begin using the phone. His exact response was I dont know, you tell me. I personally do not even know what that response means. I then ha to order a case and charger through Customer Care which was suppose to be overnighted. It was sent to an address in the wrong state and did not arrive for a week. I have been with Verizon for over 20 years purchasing multiple services when available/offered. Turns out, I dont care for the phone I purchased (no ones fault I dont like it) but it is Verizons fault because what I dont like about the phone, could have been told to me and talked about in person IF someone was willing to help me in person. I have never been treated like this when dealing with customer service and willing to continue service. I have am impeccable record when it comes to paying bills as well. Its just not right on Verizons part. In the coming days I will be returning the phone and most likely canceling my service and moving on to a different provider.

The new store design is a down grade. There are less customer service assistants on the floor. The young woman who assisted me did not know the Google phone. Really? Are you not supposed to know each phone youre SELLING to customers! My favorite tech guy Dale was not there! If you visit this place ask for Dale! He knows his stuff and more!

The staff at this particular store were very FRIENDLY, helpful as well as professional .The parking structure has 1or 2 spots that are handicap accessible, its a shared parking lot area with like 7 other stores. It can be very annoying on weekends to find a spot, so when you do make sure you shop and dont forget anything.Some of the other stores dont have restrooms including this Verizon and for that reason I took off a 🌟 . I noticed that this store doesnt have a ramp for wheelchairs either. The day I went it had a lot deals at times, but at other times its a bit overpriced..I asked to use the restroom I was told they didnt have one for customers to walk down five doors from the store and that the Starbucks has one, this is horrible if you have young children that cant wait that long .I will return to this particular Verizon, need be because despite all the cons its the best Verizon store in my opinion within the whole area including Hudson county..

Yesterday I went to this Verizon store.... I was told that the wait time was 25-30 mins because there were 7 people ahead of me. I told the person that signed me in that I would be right back, because I was going to the five below right next door... He never said to make sure to be back before 8pm because that is the time they close. I was under the impression that they close at 9m, because that is what I was told. When I went back, the doors were close, and the one guy was very nasty to me. So I made sure I went back today and I gave him a piece of my mind in front of everyone. How dare he be rude to a woman and a customer... I will not tolerate disrespect from a retailer.... I am the customer!

Visited today because my wife accidentally dropped her phone and cracked the screen. A couple negatives. This shopping center is brutal for parking and traffic, maybe my least favorite ever. Compound that with the long waits typical of cell phone store visits. However, our experience was as smooth as possible. My wife was nervous and a bit anxious, but Tariq was fantastic.

I am very disappointed with my visit at this Verizon store. I walked in, and was not even acknowledged, I then spoke with a representative who apparently added my name to the list ( but never did).After patiently waiting for almost 45 minutes, I had to ask when I was next because I kept seeing other customers were being attended. The representative did not find my name on the list and still left me waiting. At that point I would’ve of expected some prompt action to help out.Therefore, I walked out. It’s sad to do business like this, as an individual who works with customers for many years, you always want to make sure the customers are happy and are acknowledged for whatever their business needs are.I would’ve never expected this type of service from Verizon who is a leading wireless retailer and more.

Not a bad place but sometimes it takes a while to activate a phone. If theres even a minor crowd there will be an hour to 2 hour wait time. Also, if the phone isnt a common flagship, the staff has a bit of trouble. I commend their tenacity though. We had to go to another store to get it working in the end. If you have a common phone though, and there isnt many people waiting, and you get a good staff member, you can set up your new phone in 25 mins tops and be on your way.

Verizon Wireless has the best Customer Service not only in the wireless forum but in big business all around. I go to the River Front Center location to do business with one sales person in particular. His name is Jason Benjamin and I have actually followed him from another location. He is the best sales person they have. Pleasant and friendly but above all so very helpful.

Only 4 salespeople for about 25 people waiting and 5 days before Christmas. Apparently Verizon does not value their customers enough to care if a customer has to wait over an hour to get service! I suppose that saves them a couple of bucks while my time is wasted. Their customer service is becoming terrible. Shameful. It will be their loss in the end.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. The employees there are not transparent and try and take advantage. I came in for a wireless charger and while I was there I thought I would check to see if Im due for an upgrade. So they asked for permission to access my account and check, turns out I have a couple months left so I left without making any changes to my account. Well 15 minutes later I get a text saying that changes were made to my account. Turns out that while looking at my account, they added the protection plan without my permission. I go to see what happens and their response was oh yeah that happens when we access your account.. what!? Now I am dealing with Verizon customer service online to fix this nonsense. Be very careful.

Aside from the long wait times Ive experienced over the past few years, the most recent visit showed that representatives lack a sense of interest in their position and little knowledge of the products. There used to be a time when sales reps were considered experts - that time is long gone at this location. Management should strongly consider who they hire and the type of ongoing training individuals require.

The place was recently renovated, made up to look exactly like an Apple store. The major difference is that theres absolutely no help to be found anywhere on the premises. So lets tally this up- no available staff, no restrooms, and no wifi. That sounds like three strikes to me.

The manager should have corrected the sales associate and had him take care of those waiting before the young lady who had walked in, but he did nothing, but ask me to wait!! Thats what I was doing all along!! Be careful going here. This is the second time they have signed me up for protection plans with out asking me or telling me. I have had to go back after viewing my bill to cancel services I never wanted. They also play word games by implying cases come free with phones but they are actually charging you for them. “This new phone costs $X and includes a charger and case... yea because you are charging me for the case...”

Two days ago I had the worst experience of my life at this location. I wanted to upgrade my phone to the s10 and the sales person helping me had no idea what she was talking about. I had to correct her about 5 times. She was rude from the start not even a hey how can I help you? She just called me name I walked up and she didnt say a word until I told her what I needed. After that, all her answers were yes or no with an attitude. I had to be the one doing the talking. I could tell how much she hated being there but the least you can do is pretend to be happy in front of the customers. Anyways I left and drove all the way to the gsp location where I was actually greeted and walked out with the s10 plus. To anyone reading this take my advice and go to a different location!

I have gone to this Verizon many times as it is the closest to my home. I have NEVER had a good experience at this location. The staff they have working there are rude, condescending and downright arrogant. Its a given now when I say Im going to Verizon that I know I will be aggravated and treated with disrespect at this location on Rt. 3 . Keith was the *tech* today, and as usual the same - arrogant, disrespectful and condescending. Same experience as always just a different name! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, and I too will take my own advice and never step foot at this location again. Enough is enough and Ive given them one too many chances already to prove me wrong.

A week ago I went to upgrade to galaxy s10+so I picked a color,case,screen protector.he brings the phone I was abaut to open the box to see how it looks like with the color I choose and I was stopped (you have to pay first then u will be able to open the box)realy????? after that I ordered a device online and I pick same day delivery. according to Verizon all deliveries are handled by FedEx but the store is hiring third-party delivery company that I didnt know of yes they attempt to deliver device twice but I wasnt available at those dates. So I asked four location to pick up my package they said its at Verizon store. So I went back to the store to pick up my device the guy or whatever his position was he told me that device was returned to the warehouse. the funny part is Verizon and FedEx dont know what happened to the device.

I dont recommend this location. I havent been to others because this one is closest to work and residence. The associates here appear to have all gone to a retail training focused on solely making a sale. The common speil I see is they make there numbers per month for payments sound great and hope you dont realize you are paying 3 x for a phone you can get for less elsewhere. If you are fooled into taking that deal they are pretty much done with you after that and your phone questions. The one guy helping me i could tell was having a hard time. I ended up at Best Buy i stead. Gonna be leaving Verizon at the end of contract anyway.

Although they did help me I was there for 2 1/2 hours and the tech was visibly annoyed - when I suggested maybe someone else should help me he became very defensive! After being there for 2 hrs I asked to use the restroom but told it was no longer a public restroom bc they were having trouble with ppl stealing [not too insulting] but they suggested I walk down to the Starbucks which was fine bc I needed a break but ironically when I returned the tech had fixed my phone [I think he may have taken my advise and asked someone else] - I was SOOOO HAPPY TO LEAVE!!! Worst Verizon store Ive ever dealt with. The customer service reps are completely incapable of doing their jobs. Their sole purpose is to make a sale to get money in their own pocket. We were told repeatedly that an upgrade could not be swapped from one phone to the other. I called 611 and they did for me almost immediately. Get a clue and hire people who know what the hell theyre doing.

Rocco the manager is terrible. Do not go here. Best Buy was always my go to I came here cause it’s closer and literally came only to get a SIM card cause I was having issues with my current one and the tech on the phone said any location would replace it. Rocco first of all got angry cause a employee was going to give it to me without activating a phone, then I asked if we can call the tech support back cause they said this location would give me one and he handed me a phone and walked away to play on his phone and not bother to help me. I had very bad experience in this store two times and I would never go there again. The staff there behave like they work for some other company and their goal is to turn away customer s from Verizon. They are so unprofessional and hostile in their dealings. I went their to return a phone after talking to an agent over phone but they completely disregard what the agent told me and started telling me how unprofessional the Verizon customer service over phone. I l always have a good experience dealing with telephone tech support of Verizon (Except the wait time). I never want to get in to this store again. I brought my phone in yesterday because I was having technical issues with it. I specifically told the technician to NOT reset my phone as my pictures were not backed up. He assured me that he was just going to restart it. Guess what he did?? Reset my phone and wiped out EVERYTHING on it! Then said oops sorry, that wasnt supposed to happen, and handed me back my phone to take it to the Samsung store. Samsung told me he must have pressed the volume up button instead of down which will reset, instead of restart. Im now considering switching services as I cant even believe these people dont even know how to properly restart one of the most popular phones they sell. So unprofessional, and now Ive lost all of the pictures Ive taken in the past 2 years. Verizon...youre about to lose a 15 year customer. Please train your staff better so this doesnt happen to someone else!

GO TO SECAUCUS OR TOTOWA INSTEAD!!This store refused to replace my phone without charging a restocking fee even though it had a obvious issue with the screen. Unfortunately this Verizon Store has gone way down in customer service, since their remodeling of their store. First of all they need to get organized and have someone greet the customers, when they enter the store and at least take down their name, as they always used to do, instead of leaving customers piled up near the door, with others jumping in before their turn. Also customer service for problems with a new phone and questions should be answered. I was rushed out of the store after purchasing an upgraded phone with the advice of Oh just play around with it! I am a long time customer of Verizon and have spent lots of money over the years, supporting your company. Maybe it is just this locations problem and I have to find a new location! PS. The reason why I came into the store last night was not solved by the representative either, as she told me she did not k own how to send a picture I had taken with my cell phone camera to my Auto Ins Company. Horrible customer service. Went in to get a new phone and ended up walking out due to the high price. 25 minutes later got an alert my address and email was updated. Called and found out the sales woman went to the next client and was still on my account and changed my info. Called Verizon and got the store manager on the phone. He was extremely rude, cut me off multiple times and did not care about the security breach by his employee. Do not go here.

I went in today, and the sales rep Jouber was very patient. He got all of my information transferred over from my old phone and made sure all of my questions where answered. Verizon needs more people like him working for this company!!

This place is awful. The store looks great the phone service is great but everybody in here tells you what you want to hear so they can close the sale and then nobody wants to deal with you. I recently bought all my business accounts over and have been staring at $1000.00 (YES THOUSAND) bills. I went in at least 6-7 times to go over these billing issues and every time was promised the credits after waiting for an hour or two and still have yet to receive these credits. Every time i go back i dont see the manager who sold me my service and everyone suggests i wait for him so he can correct it. I am sooooooo tired of this and right now as i type this email i am on an hour and 5 min and counting phone call to try to get this issue corrected before i disconnect and take my number elsewhere. I wouldnt recommend this store to anyone unless you like being promised the moon and lied to.

The service is great ..... The big help that works there is Dustin he helps us every time we go there because he knows what he is doing and he always tries to find my family the cheapest plans and he gave me blue tooth speakers as part of a deal for this awesome plan he got us . I highly recommend Dustin as a big help because he really knows a lot about smartphones and he will try to fix all your phone issues so go to this store and just ask for Dustin he is the best person working there.

I actually very much dislike this branch, but its the only one near me. I would go in and the wait time is literally 40 minutes and the sales representatives are obnoxious and clueless. Most of them look bored half of the time. All they want to do is sell the phones regardless if they are helping the person or not. It annoys me about how careless Verizon is with their staff and how they are towards their customers. I wouldnt recommend this branch to anyone. My family always gets upset and mad at them for their behavior.

I was so frustrated with the lady sales rep here at Verizon. It is asinine the Verizon can run a business where they have no reception or offer wi-if so that the customer can be properly set up. In addition, the sales rep was not knowledgeable able the software or equipment and seems like she didnt even care about it either. My experience here is horrible.

Very slow service and very confusing. they make you sign into a computer and then wait to get your name called. at first its cool but it is just too hectic and unorganized. go to 167 Franklin Ave, Nutley, NJ 07110 for faster service! I usually went to the verizon store on rt3 but this morning I went to 167 Franklin Ave and Im glad I did.
