Pretty much the same as the other reviews here. On Black Friday at 11:30 a.m. the door was wide open and he was rolling items out on the sidewalk. All the lights were on and one would think he was open. He rudely said “can I help you?” I replied, I’m just looking around (I was shopping for old art and frames) and he said, “I’m not open for lookers.” Yet, this guy will go in to the other shops nearby and complain about not making sales. I wonder why? Don’t waste your time trying to give this guy your business. He doesn’t deserve it. I went down the street and bought a nice antique print and frame like I was looking for. The other shop owners are nice and fair, give them your business.

I would give 0 stars if I could! The shop has no signage on the front door in a county with no mask mandate so we walked in to shop. The store reeked of bad odors and immediately we were screamed at saying we would not do business without a mask. We pulled our mask out and put them on. The man then said I am not open to anyone but antique dealers. To which I answered i guess that sign is right beside the no mask sign someplace hidden. We walked out and will not EVER visit there again. Other stores will have my business!

Soooo...this is apparently normal for this guy. We had the same experience today that the rest of those who left a review had. I couldn’t shake my experience so i looked this store up on Google just to see what the deal was.We walked in and started looking around and a couple of minutes later he walks in and said, “uh, can I help you?” Not in an actual helpful way...more like a “excuse me, you do not belong here” kind of way. I put down what I was looking at, my wife said “ok we’re done here,” and we walked out.Heavens To Betsy probably isn’t a place you’re going to want to spend your money.

My husband and I went in there about a year ago and I will never forget it. The man who I assume was the owner groaned when he saw us come in and then told us after a minute of looking around that he was closed. The door was wide open and no closed sign. He was not nice about it either. We both felt so uncomfortable. He is extremely unprofessional. I was actually glad to see the other reviews and that it just wasnt us that he treated poorly. We would never go in that store again.

I walked into this store while looking for antiques (it was a few hours after opening and there werent any signs that it was shut down for lunch) and I didnt see anyone in the store. Okay, thats normal. After looking around for a few minutes this man slams the door open and storms into the shop. He stopped next to me and grumpily asked if I needed help, then proceeded to watch me look at buttons for two minutes. Once he was convinced I wasnt going to steal, he sat down in a chair and started reading a paper and grunting loudly. I felt so uncomfortable that I left!

The owner was extremely rude, unwelcoming and not the least bit helpful. It was a shocking experience. I was there less than 5 minutes and he managed to insult me several times. Neighboring shops said he acted this way on a regular basis. Spread the word.
