We purchased a 2022 Sea Hunt Ultra 229 recently from Harborside. It took me several months to make a decision, as this was a big purchase for our family. There was never any pressure, our salesmen Mike was excellent. I changed my mind on what I wanted several times, he quickly responded to my emails and phone calls. This year has been hectic for many small businesses and we understand that, nevertheless they were on top of everything. When we picked up the boat, the service was top notch. Champagne toast, a sea trial, an overview of the boat, its features, Sea Hunt swag and a great lunch at their restaurant from my family. It been a little over a month since we put the Ella Reese in the water and we love it. Boat handles great in the river and ocean. So many people at the local boat beach ask about the boat, everyone loves the look and paint scheme that we went with. Overall great service and great people - I would have no problem recommending them to anyone. Thanks!

Horrible customer service! Don’t go here!My husband tired more than 10 times to locate parts for his Chris-Craft at Harborside Marina. Each time he called, the employees said they would look into to finding the parts and call him back. They never did. On the 10th time calling, my husband expressed his dissatisfaction with their customer service, and the employee said “ good luck finding your parts somewhere else”My husband emailed the owner, John Benchimol, to express his concern about his employees lack of customer service and follow through. John emailed my husband back accusing him of being rude and demeaning to his employees. He never spoke to my husband and asked him to share more details, he just accused my husband of being a bad person. My husband has owned his own business for over 35 years in a small town, and never has he been treated so rudely. I’ve attached a copy of the owners email for reference

Absolutely the best! I bought from over 2000 miles away because we have no Sea Hunt dealers on the west coast. Majority of dealers could care less down in the south east, thinking your a waste of time... John at Harborside was awesome. And the service with everything when I had questions after the sale and delivery is nothing short of amazing every time I call or email.

Harborside has been a great experience for my family. We became customers last summer when my Volvo needed repair. The work was done in a professional and timely manner. The experience was so positive that we decided to use their rack storage. The staff is very friendly and always seem to be around when you need someone to grab a line or help you get underway. I would not hesitate to purchase a boat from Harborside!

My experience with the staff of Harborside Marina during a recent purchase of the 255 Sea Hunt was exceptional. I have always bought repaired and sold my boats over the past 40 years as a private individual. Deciding to look at a new boat was a new journey for me. Awful experience....I bought an expensive used boat from them. Had problems on day 1, they told me it would be an easy fix. But then two months later, and multiple phone calls and attempts to reach their service department, I was never able to get an appointment for a technician to come look at the boat. Many promises, many days waiting while they said they will be there, and always postponed and then cancelled. I bought the boat in May, it’s now August and still unusable. Stay away!!

Harborside Marina was a dream come true for me and my family. What we wanted was a place close to home where we could keep our boat and have easy access to our boating life. We got that - PLUS the friendliest and most accommodating staff. From the owner, John, to our salesman, Chris, to all the very kind and generous people in the office and yard, the staff always makes us feel like part of the Harborside family. We truly couldn’t ask for a better experience buying and keeping our boat here, and it truly is the “cherry on top” of our boating fun!

Just bought a new Sea Hunt 225 Ultra from Tom M. at Harborside Marina and could not be happier ! Toms knowledge, service, attentiveness, care of detail, and communication was off the charts. I totally recommend Tom & Harboside to anyone in the new / used boat market .... BTW, their prices (boat, trailer, & transport services) were very very reasonable !

This has been a horrible experience. We took a chance to prep our boat for 2019 season for a pickup in June 2019. The estimate sent via email was $2500 + shipping/delivery cost included detailing & service. The marina was very late to pickup the boat, and could not get the boat to be operational. They charged my credit card $9645.45 and then more than half season was missed!!! Boat was delivered AUGUST 9th!!!!! And on the wrong location so my wife and I had to pick the boat up and $920 for another technician to get the boat in running order. When my wife and I contacted him he said he has lawyers on payroll and could care less about a lawsuit. DO NOT EVER TRUST THIS GUY. VERY BAD

We just bought our new Bennington from Chris and John at Harborside and are thrilled. They are nice people and we appreciate the time they took to teach us about the boats. We highly recommend buying a boat from Harborside, it was a pleasure. Thanks again to the wonderful staff.Mark & Megan Loop

My wife and I just bought our new Sea Hunt 255 Ultra from Tom & John at Harbor Side. Tom was able to answer all our questions regarding this boat and accommodated us by splashing the boat in February for a sea trial before purchasing the boat. We worked with John to supply us with a vendor to purchase a sun shade for our new boat. Overall my wife and I had a positive experience with Harbor Side.

Tom and John were awesome to work with. Price was right and they even set me up with a factory tour of Sea Hunt....could not have been more professional and decent. I bought the 27 Gamefish and Im very excited for delivery. Rob Hoffman

I bought a Chis Craft here and had a horrible experience. I live out of state and made the mistake of taking the sales persons word that it was in great shape. The boat was delivered with scratches all over it and all sorts of problems.The sales person Jake did a good job until I paid them. Then the communication was cut off. So, I went to the owner John. John was worse than Jake. He never once picked up the phone to apologies or get the story of what his store did wrong. Obviously, that is why Jake thinks he can blow customers off because his owner does not care.I wont bore you with the 50+ issues I had with this place, other than STAY CLEAR of this place. I have had the boat for a year know and still fixing things. And I bought it new!?This guy needs to sale his store and find a new career.......

SURE TO ENJOY! I have Done SUP Fitness For my birthday EVERY YEAR so far! I ADORE IT! Jessica(instructor) is Fun, Friendly and knowledgeable. They also have Bicycle rides, kayaking, and pontoon boat rentals to name a few too, but I have been so obsessed with SUP that I havent even considered anything else! This is truly a new tradition of mine and I know there are other places to SUP, but Paddleworks is my GO TO. There are a few places near by to grab a bite after you SUP too, HAVE FUN! :0)

Please do not pay attention to the couple of negative reviews you see on Google. I met John at the Norwalk boat show. My wife and I spent a couple of hours with him, and most of the two hour span was after the show ended. He never rushed us - we even thought we were taking too much of his time. I purchased a 27 foot sea hunt gamefish from him and he earned every bit of it. Fast forward to all of the paperwork. John’s wife Jennifer took care of every big and small detail including all the DMV paperwork because I am out of state. Both John and Jennifer continue to keep in direct email and phone contact with me and respond immediately to all of my questions and concerns as I have not yet taken delivery of the boat . This purchase was about as easy and flawless as possible and I thank them.Customer service is of the utmost importance to John and his team and they have proven themselves to be professional and honest.Thank you John and Jennifer, I look forward to picking up my new boat in early April
