Nicely done, somewhat upscale store with various kitchen utensils, silverware, home decor, and beautiful table cloths, runners, and squares. We spent more time on the kitchen side than the food side, and the proprietor happily took time to explain the differences between a couple of items about which we had questions.

Love shopping local in downtown Clunton. The owner could not be more friendly. Beautiful items, I just want one of everything! The tablecloths are beautiful and they carry Laguiole Knives. Imported cheeses, gourmet crackers and an oil & vinegar bar are just some of the items you can buy. My new favorite cheese is Screamer, a soft cheese imported from Switzerland. Yum!

The cutest little French style cheese shop with a little if this and that! Great jams and condiments to go with your 5 star cheese and of course a fantastic variety of balsamic vingers. And to complete this shop you will see table cloths tea towels and many serving accessories to serve the cheese you will come back for!!

My wife, a French native and I, on a rare day that we were both off from work - had the pleasure one weekend of meeting the owner when we first moved to the area. Without knowing anything about us, other than an obvious interest in great cheese - he treated us like rock stars and had us taste some really amazing varieties. It was obvious that this gentleman is not just a smart business man but a genuine merchant of the community who understands the value of building customer relationships and repeat business, not to mention a quality product that even common folks like us can indulge in on occasion. An absolute local business gem.

There are many beautiful items and goods to be found here. Also flavored vinegars and olive oils. Definitely worth a visit.

We stopped in because we were just walking around Clinton. This place was a pleasant surprise. It was hard for me to understand what a difference quality olive oil or balsamic could be. It seemed expensive to me, at first. I decision to give them a try, I will never go back to the supermarket (Walmart) for these items again. You can use them as a fantastic marinated or part of a healthy salad dressing. They are clean and not heavy. Its hard to describe but if you either like to cook or eat, you really need to check this place out. Garlic, Rosemary or basil infused olive oil.. White pear or fig balsamic.. Yummy!

Fourchette is brimming with an amazing selection of fine French accoutrements, delicious cheeses, delectable scented candles, artisan Extra Virgin Olive Oils and Balsamic Vinegars. The owners are a very knowledgeable and helpful local couple who go out of their way to make each patrons visit an unforgettable one.

Unique family owned cheeserie, but cheese is not the best all and end all. Want olio? Want a bread board? Want salt blocks? If you think what you want might be eclectic, then this little store is esoteric enough to satisfy any gourmands desire.

You really can’t find a nicer selection of products or nicer people. Brahims passion and knowledge really makes making a purchase here easy and less intimidating.

What a gem!Out here in the boonies of Warren/Hunterdon counties it can be quite a challenge to find quality food items. My fresh-off-the-boat French husband and I were recently lamenting the cheese situation at our local Shoprite (which is certainly better than none, but were a little snobby when it comes to cheese... France will do that to you...). Lo and behold, my coworker walks in one morning raving about the cheese shop we found in downtown Clinton.On Wednesday, we went to visit Brahim and his lovely shop - the interior is beautiful, charming, and authentic. I have visited many shops in France that have a similar aesthetic and shopping experience. You can purchase salt and pepper mills, beautiful table linens and serving ware, quality olive oil and vinegar (which you can taste, of course), and then the piece de resistance, the cheeses.When I visited with my coworker, Brahim and I happily chatted for a while in French and we proceeded to taste high-quality cheese from around the world. Its just so nice to know that someone cares that much to take the effort to procure the best. He typically carries a variety of goat, sheep, and cow cheeses from both the US and Europe - we tasted Roquefort, Dutch Gouda, Spanish Manchego, and some others. While the prices may seem exorbitant, the majority of these cheeses are imported/produced on small farms and difficult to find in this corner of New Jersey. For special occasions (and perhaps more frequently!) I am happy to pay for such quality. The owner, Brahim is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about his products, in addition to being super friendly.On Sunday, I returned with my husband as a surprise and he was delighted to find such a great shop close to where we live. We came home with Roquefort, Manchego, and a small piece of Gouda, in addition to rosemary olive oil and aged Balsamic.Honestly, I cant say enough good things about our experience at Fourchette. I hope the shop continues to thrive so we can look forward to many years of good cheese that dont require a plane ride home.

Magnificent French boutique with a lot of quality products. The cheeses are a delight and what was our pleasure to find good cheeses coming directly from France! We were greeted by the owner, who has lived in France for a long time, so he was able to recommend good products to us and his good humor delighted us! We were very happy to discover this beautiful shop and we hope to come back!
