I am very disappointed in this company that is a vendor for Home Depot. I have struggled for over two months to get two garage doors installed. I finally had to call the company that works with Home Depot’s vendors (this was after me making several phone calls with no answer, no reply, nothing). I was out of town when I finally got them installed. Came home to a mess. They did not clean up very well after the installation, e.g. nails, screws, etc., left lying around. I ended up with a nail in my tire. Also, I have pets who could have been hurt. Also, the trim does not look professional and for almost $1,800, I expected better.When I came home after installation (over 3 weeks ago), although the motors appear to work, the door openers, nor the openers installed on the walls do not open the doors. Therefore, these garage doors are currently useless to me. I have attempted several times to call this company, I have left both my home and cell phone numbers, nothing, no response whatsoever. I have again contacted the company that works with the vendors hired by Home Depot. They have sent service paperwork, still no response. Called today to complain once again. Still no response. I have now come to the point that I am turning this company over to the Better Business Bureau. I am also calling 6 on Your Side to see if they want to do a story, and I’m going to contact a lawyer. I am completely over this company and wouldn’t recommend them if they were the only ones who did this kind of business. I am that much disgusted with this unprofessional company.

We’re very disappointed in this company. We had them install our new garage doors about 3 or 4 years ago & everything went well. We decided to get a new garage door opener & key pad so we called them again. My husband spoke with a woman who took his info & said she’d have someone call. No call. He called again, left a message - no call. The third time he left a message that said this is my third call - 3 strikes & you’re out, I’ll assume you don’t want the job. He then received a call from John who apologized, said they were busy & they set a date for him to come. NO SHOW - NO CALL! Really? My husband sat home all day waiting for him. He called the next day & left a message asking why no show & no call? Asked to be called or he’d assume they didn’t want the job. Of course no response yet again. We understand times can be busy, but this was terrible customer service. We gave them more than enough chances to redeem themselves. If you’re busy just say so, that it could be two weeks or whatever, but don’t ignore calls or be a no-show. That’s very rude & unacceptable. We’ve now wasted a week. Obviously we’re moving on.

They were on time and worked very fast. The two man team did a great job installing our new garage door. They also explained the maintenance needed. And the cost was better than they quoted me. They were very professional. I will recommend Dotson to anyone who needs a garage door or opener.

Wish I could give no stars. Terrible work. Had 4 garage doors installed. Payed 900 dollars more than the included door install price. They installed the incorrect trim. I called to correct this issue and then they disappeared. Called and text multiple times over multiple weeks. No response and still waiting. Do not use. Find another installer. There were greasy handprint all over the back of doors, one of them was scratched, nails inside and out of every door.
