I own a Ford F-150 little did I know that the Ford truck have spark plug issues. I had one blow in July 2020 luckily we were able to twist it back in. 3 months later the same plug blew again, this time it was stripped. Bought the re-thread kit that didnt work. I came across Dave Hiatt Machine shop in Clovis Ca . Being a girl sometimes guys dont have patience talking to us. I tried my best to explain what happened to my truck. He listened to me and took time to explain everything to me on the phone. I did not hesitate. Within 30 minutes I showed up at his shop, He was busy but took time to fit me in for the next day. My truck was fixed the same day. It runs perfect just like when I bought it. Dave took time to explain what happened and why. Took the head off my Jeep 4.0 in to be serviced. Ron was very friendly and upfront about everything. Turn around time was very quick. It looks like a brand new head! Head gasket surface is well machined and smooth enough to accept an MLS gasket. I highly recommend Ron at Dave Hiatt. He will do a quality job at a very fair price.
