I was very disappointed this time when I went to the humble gun show and I tried to get a 590 mossberg shotgun and was told I couldn’t be helped because I was trying to buy the gun for him” they quoted referring to my husband . Before I could even say anything the rude man turned around and went about his business! Not even knowing my husband has his own license to carry and was just helping me decide which home defense gun would be better for me to defend my family while he’s out of town for work / I’m pregnant with 3 kids at home and he works away!! I felt as if he denied me because I was pregnant and a woman ! I actually bought a Ar15 from them at the last humble gun show and there was no issue so I decided to go back to them! Glad I didn’t spend my hard earned money with them! I won’t be visiting their table again at any gun show they show up at again! Just lost a customer!! By the way I found the gun cheaper at academy!!

Went in to buy a lower but ended up buying a complete AR. It was a great buying experience the people that assisted me was very accommodating. The nice woman even informed me that I can trade my pistol (it was justly appraised as well) for the rifle to lower the cost and she was nice enough to wait for me as I drive back home to get my gun.Overall awesome buying experience!!!

Spoke with them at 2:00 on the phone told themm i was on the way. They didnt tell me their lunch was 2:15 to 3:30. Ran errand came back. At 3:15 someone walked out the store locked it back up. Never spoke a word. At 4:00 still not open. I left at this point. Dont want my money OK by me. 4 other customers left during this time too.

CHECK YOU STUFF BEFORE YOU BUY!!!! I spend almost $600 to only head to the rage and find out what I bought dose not work properly! So now I’m in contact with the company! It’s my fault I should of checked but the things you huh are not something you need to not be working,! Sorry people just want your money and of course it’s sold as is, completely my fault for not doing a inspection before I buy but you should know what your dealing with before you buy. Learn from my mistakes !

Absolutely horrible service. If zero stars were a thing that’s what’s they’d get. I don’t recommend working with them at all, they don’t want to help you. The man I tried speaking to acted like I was bothering him and he couldn’t care less about making a sale. There’s plenty of places offering good service to help you exercise your rights and this is not one of them.

I purchased a Ruger SR1911 .45 not only did i find the firearm at an amazing price i feel the staff at the SAXET gun show was professional as can be. I love my 1911 and hope to make my future puchases with AJC.

Visited the booth at a Gun Show, the man running the stand was very rude and disrespectful when I asked if it were possible for a very small deal that was not unreasonable. I understood and agreed to pay the advertised price, only to be told “I’m not interested in selling to someone like you.” I guess business is doing so well they can afford to turn people away for asking questions? Very discouraging but thankfully took my business elsewhere where it was appreciated. Do not buy from here if you are a novice looking to get information or start out.

The old man and woman completely ignored us! Helping three or four people ahead of us! We were going to purchase a pistol but they never even said hello! This is the second chance I gave them ! Will never go back! Went to academy and spent my money!

Last two times Ive there theyve been closed during the business hours they post as being open. Strange way to do business. Seems Ive heard that complaint about them in the past. People are going to start going elsewhere, deservedly.

Called looking for a certain gun and the lady that answered the phone was very rude and even hung up on me. Not just that but their prices are way over everyone else. They are about $60 or more than anyone else on the specific gun I was looking for.

Called checking stock on pistol and was put on hold. It was about 20 minutes before closing and never returned to phone so picked-up cell and called and told them I was on the other line waiting so this one puts me on hold after telling him what I looking for as someone told me they had one early in the week. So about 6 the second phone line picked-up and of course no pistol. No one ever came back to the first line, sounded like the same person. I have only bought 1 pistol from them a Kahr PM 9 with night sights and had to return the following day as sights did not work. One would think they would inspect guns before selling. All of this to say I guess I have bought my first and last from AJC.

Overall not a good gun buying experience. The employees are young and unprofessional...cursed multiple times in front of customers. I spent over $1200 on a rifle and they still charged me an additional $30 to mount my scope, which I tried to purchase from them but they said they wouldnt be able to order it for me. Apparently the boss is the only one there that works on the firearms and I have yet to see him in the four visits I have made. To put it simply they take advantage of the fact that theyre the only gun shop around, and they know people have no choice but to go to them. There quality of service and goods is very poor. I will not be doing any more business with them...Ill just take a trip to the good gun shop in El Campo instead.

Dont ever deal with this people ! Bad customer service. Recently this sellers where at the Houston gun show, the lady that seems to be the Boss refused to sell my father a revolver that was supposed to be his first purchase of a gun in his life. Because he did not know English well he had trouble on reading the application, so she just band him for that. After she went on to other dealers on the Gun Show and started telling them to not sell my father any firearms. How can an old person have so much greed and hatred to people that speak English as second language.

I have purchased several guns from them at gun shows...they had what i wanted at a competitive price, but i never had what i consider a great experience...i knew what i was in for, so every time i just bit my lip and tried to make the best of it...the staff always looked and acted like theyd rather be somewhere else--always yawning and looking at their watches...i know that spending your weekends dealing with gun guys cant be a lot of fun, but, hey, if you dont like it, go work somewhere else...i know, i know--everyone who works there is kin and you CANT go somewhere else because daddy says you have to be there...and i know that you have more business than you can handle and a few bad reviews probably wont hurt you, but im going to try anyway...it started with the trying to get the attendants attention to tell him which gun i wanted to buy...if he wasnt ACTUALLY trying to ignore me then he was doing a VERY good job of faking it...geez, guy--if you dont WANT to sell guns and answer questions, why are you in business at all?...wait!--we already know the answer to that...this particular time i bought a taurus compact 40...i didnt inspect it figuring that it was a new gun and, hey, what could POSSIBLY be wrong?...when i got it home, there was a rubber plug obviously missing from the back of the grip right below the slide...i say obvious because there was a hole there...so, because i was working in lake jackson, i waited till the next time i was down there and took it into their main store...the store was attended by 2 kids who could not POSSIBLY have been old enough to legally sell guns....they were acting, in a word, unprofessionally...you expect a certain level of decorum in a retail store of any sort and even more so in a place like a gun store...these guys would have been un-qualified to work at a t-shirt shop...it was like a mother left the oldest kids in charge while she went to run an errand...i was very disappointed, but it kind of fit with what id already experienced at the gun show...i had my receipt and showed them the problem...they had not a CLUE what i was talking about or what to do about it and did their best to convince me that NOTHING was missing from the empty hole...this went on for a while till i felt myself becoming agitated at which time i thanked them and left...never to return...a bad experience all around which left a bad taste in my mouth...i called the taurus people in florida, explained the problem, and they sent me a new part free in the mail...case closed...these people opened a store here in katy, but it closed in pretty short order...may have been the location...i think they close on the weekends while everyone works the gun shows...do yourself and your blood pressure a favor and shop somewhere else...youll get the same merchandise at the same price and have a MUCH better buying experience...

Recently bought an ar556 at the gun show G.R.B convention for a solid price, wont say how much but it was 155 less then what my local academy has it listed for currently . Staff was fine, only small issue was I asked the guy if it was new he said yes being my first purchase of a firearm I rushed over carefully inspecting it . The charging handle isnt stamped ruger which too my knowledge should be as all the major parts are stamped out the factory and it was missing an owners manual and i think maybe some stickers 🤔. The gun looks completely new and the rest of the parts are stamped correctly as well as the upper and lower . Great gun, great price but I wonder if the charging handle is cheaper then rugers stock one but no big deal . 👌

Ran into this business at a gun show and I have to say it was the worst experience ever. They had a nice price on a pistol and I asked the guy why it was so low and was it priced right or if it was used. He indicated that it was priced right and it was new, so I went ahead to purchase the pistol. After they completed the NCIC check and i wrote them a check, a girl walked over and said the price was incorrect and they could sell it to me for 60 more dollars.The staff was rude and combative about the price change. If they were nice about it I might have gone ahead with it. This was a classic bait and switch and I was so irritated by them I am wondering if I should go ahead and suffer through the Texas legal system and go after them for a Bait and Switch.I purchase quite a few firearms and have dealt with quite a few local vendors and I have to say stay away from these guys, go with Ridge Line, Saw Guns, Gun Zone, Independence Firearms, Houston gun forum, Tac 47, Spring Guns and Ammo, or anyone else at a gun show, JUST NOT THESE GUYS!!!
