I was able to rent my storage unit from Memphis over the phone and sign all my paperwork through email. It was the easiest experience i have ever had renting a storage unit. The agent i spoke with was so kind and friendly and easy to talk to. They even threw in a free lock with my rental! I highly recommend this business and i will tell all my friends and family to use extra space storage!

We were so excited about a low promotional rate we were offered. When it came time to sign the contract they ended up slipping in a required insurance fee that was another $17 per month. Then after the 2nd month, they increased the rate by an additional $30 without warning. All this for a closet rental space that was nasty to start with. We didnt complain at first because the rate was low, but they reserve the right to change rent and they will. Not worth it.

Do not go here.I was late on my storage payment due to my card getting stolen, so I had to canceled my debit card and get a new one. Thus my normal withdrawal not going through. My mistake, life happens. I went to make a payment for the month I was late and asked if I could pay the current month that Friday. I was told yes. 2 days later I get an email saying my storage is going to auction and I now owe and extra 200$. The front desk lady Dakota said it was her to took my 1st payment last week for the month that was late and theres nothing she could do. I even told her when I made the 1st payment (for the prior late month) that I could pay in full for both months then and there if needed but if possible I would like to wait for Friday. She told me thats fine I owe 70 for the current month. Just poor communication and no sense of taking responsibility for their error. I understand if you pay things on time you dont have to worry about this. But life happens, and to tell a person 1 thing then a few days later say I took the payment but I don’t really remember, theres nothing we can do you literally told me I could come in this Friday and pay the rest (70$ for the current month). Its just very unprofessional and upsetting to have to pay an extra 200$.

My husband and I were in need of a storage on short notice and we are on a budget. We found Extra Space Storage but we just couldnt decide on which location or which unit would be more beneficial. They have always been super nice and when my husband accidently put our lock on the wrong way leaving our possessions open, they installed their lock and called me so I could go fix the lock but know my possessions were safe in the mean time. I would highly recommend them.

Both women I spoke to were very polite the first one her system was down so she couldn’t book my reservation so she told me to call another number with instructions to get my unit. The second woman was very kind and the transaction was fast and easy, she asked me what i had to store and just like that got me my storage passcode and everything I needed. We have been renting from here for almost 10 yrs. This storage lot always makes you feel safe not matter what time of day you go. There is always someone on the property 24/7. Its always clean and well kept. It recently changed owners and they too seem sweet and very helpful. Always willing to work with the customer as long as you let them know ahead of time what is going on. They really do try to go the EXTRA mile for their customers. Happy & Safe Renting!!!

They have a lot of people walk away from these storage units, so there policy is to get private information that they do not have the right to do.If they need to auction a unit there are processes to do that.I did not rent from them, I went down the road to affordable storage very nice there, and they do not want all your private information. That is none of there business, Never! give your SS# to these people they will use it illegally. And it is not required!!

Through all this, the managers have been great. They keep the grounds and units clean and critter-free. As this facility is surrounded by field, that is important to me. Easy process to get a unit, easy process to vacate. Update: dropping this to 4 stars because they raised the price only a few months after I moved my stuff in. It would have been 3 stars but they allowed me to negotiate the increase to half what they wanted to increase it.

This was a great experience. The units are clean, the climate control kept all my items safe, and the staff really worked with me to get everything I needed. Even when I was getting ready to close out the unit, they tried to save me from making any extra unnecessary trips. If I ever need another unit in the future, I will absolutely go there first and would recommend it to anyone else.The prices are decent and not overly expensive. If you get a large unit, you get good quality at a good rate. Very competitive. They usually have good specials going on to help save on cost.

Turned out the doorways were not tall enough for our trailers but they offered us two other spots for way less money. Saving money is always great, right? We were helping our sister move and she made all the arrangements by phone but everything worked out well in the end.

The staff were very pleasant and courteous. I was able to come in and rent a unit with no issues, and the pricing was excellent.

The place has nice facilities, large dollies for use of carrying stuff to or from your vehicle, and the air conditioned storage spaces are well kept. They also tolerate payments as late as 5 days without any additional fees, which is great in case you forget to pay right away. Great people, great service, great policies, and affordable. I think my 10 by 5 unit was about 60 bucks a month.

Ive had 2 bad experiences with icky vicki shes rude she made a mistake I wasnt mad about and she still was rude and she stole an item of mine and was rude this place is a joke .

Do not store your stuff here. I stored here for a short few months and in that time my brand new bed and tv were stolen. I paid insurance and not a single thing was done about my stuff being stolen in their facility!

I booked with them online and was called back as soon as they opened that morning. :-) I went in and got the size of storage I needed with ease. She even drove me on golf cart in the rain to preview my space.I was also given a sticker to place on my lock. This way if the sticker is missing they will notify me to make sure there has been no tampering with my unit.I went back to put some things in my storage yesterday. Once at lunch and once at 7pm. Both times someone stepped out of the office area to see what and who I was. Makes me feel extra secure knowing people are looking out.The ONLY downfall is the ease of getting out of my space area. I am on the very back end and I have to back my Suburban all the way and turn around in a tight corner as there is no pull through area where my unit is located.
