Great prices around. They have a pretty good selection and the owner/cashier was friendly. They have a wide assorment of Mexican candy. The place was clean and organized. No crazy children running around at least when I went there. Definitely would come back.

Great prices and friendly atmosphere. Saved me a trip to Mexicali with these prices. A lot of candy and party favors to choose from as well. Pinatas cover the ceiling as well with many different designs. If you want something that they dont have just ask them, might be able to get it for you.

This was my last stop while out shopping for a fiesta themed party. I needed some last minute items that I could not find anywhere. Really wish I would of came here first. They had everything I needed and more. Prices are fair and they have a great variety. Adam the owner was very generous to show me some colored placemats that I overlooked. I went to la placita on saturday 4-20 around 2. I was walking to go pay for my things. When i heard yelling when i looked it was the owner and a lady assuming she works there because I see her when i go to the store and she is ringing people up. The owner and her were in a very heated argument, i was gonna pay but instead left because I had my kids and the argument was pretty ugly. To the owner I hope you read this. It looks awful and so disrespectful to your clients that you would be having a screaming match with a lady that works there yet alone in front of your customers. You should have a little more respect for your clients. If i ever go back I hope i never get to witness that again it looks very poor on you and your store. Makes your clients seem like they dont matter and it is uncomfortable to watch.
