Donuts made to order! Theres a form that you fill out and then they make it right in front of you to order. The donuts had a slight crisp and were more cakey than fluffy, but had a delicious flavor. They werent too sweet and overwhelmed with sugar, but rather the toppings complimented the donut. The staff were super friendly and helpful! They also accepted Apple Pay which was convenient.

Very fun idea! You walk in and take a card where you write what you want, you can choose multiple donuts and then you have a large variety of options for icings, toppings, drizzled and more! Then they build the donut for you, a subway for donuts if you will! They also have seasonal donuts that are absolutely scrumptious. Their donut alone is fantastic and I love getting it just plain like a cake donut! Fun for all ages and well priced!

Stopped by for a snack with my family and wanted to stay for lunch and dinner. As amazing as the donuts were, the owner was just as great. We will definitely be coming back and I suggest you all do the same!

Best cake donuts we ever had. Very light and fluffy unlike regular dense cake donuts. We also had the choice of 6 different icings and probably 2 dozen toppings. We practically finished off the whole dozen as soon as we got back to our room.

The Donut Experiment is awesome! You get to choose what toppings you put on your cake donut. Some of our familys favorites are the maple frosting with bacon topping, the strawberry glaze with coconut topping, and the chocolate glaze and a peanut butter drizzle. The owner and her son are absolutely fabulous as well.

Love this place! The donuts are so fresh and so yummy! The owner is in there most of the time with her sleeves rolled up and working. The staff is very friendly. Ive never had donuts like this. They are original and addicting.

Courteous and helpful staff guided me through the selection of the flavor combinations. The donuts are fantastic! Maple and bacon! Caramel with chocolate chips! Vanilla icing with Oreo crumbles! So many combinations to try. Will definitely be back when I am in the area.

If you are in Cocoa Beach, you have got to stop at The Donut Experiment! It’s a fun, light hearted atmosphere, and the donuts were AMAZING! It makes eating out an experience. Awesome experience, there are so many different donuts to choose from! I got a dozen bacon donuts for everyone at my work and they were gone within 5 minutes. Always fresh and interesting to watch the process.

The donuts are definitely fresh and so delicious. Give them some more patronage so they can have more flavors. The fruity pebble glazed donut was delicious.

Great spot for your donut craving. They do not have racks of donuts like you may be used to, but instead have a basic cake donut that they ice and top in front of you to your liking. The donut is great with a bit of crunch and still warm. The toppings and icing arent anything out of the ordinary, but they have something for everyones taste.Very reasonably priced. We spent under $3 for 2 donuts. Worth a try over your standard dunkin donuts.

Awesome locally owned donut shop. My daughter loves that she can customize her own donut. The Siracha Donut is amazing.

Great variety of donuts (one of them we got was a Sriracha Peanut Butter, which half of the donut is in the picture) and VERY fresh as they were still hot when we ate them. Highly recommended.

My husband and I tried the donut shop last week, and since then have eaten there twice. The donuts are scrumpdelicios. My experiment was dipped in carmel and then crushed peanuts. I give myself a yummy thumbs up. You can try your own combinations. The donuts and have a natural soft sweet flavor.We will go there again.

Ok so my understanding of the business concept is handmade customized doughnuts... when my daughter asked for both chocolate and regular sprinkles we were informed that they would not do that due to cross-contamination... huh? A specialty doughnut shop that doesn’t allow 2 toppings- also out of bacon topping, were there at 8am- yikes! Doughnuts were small and flavors pretty average.

O my goodness!!! I just left this little place and its amazing! So much fun decorating your own donuts!! Never have i been to a place like this. Im from Texas and it was so great to come here and experience a new way to have fun making ur breakfast donuts!!! Ps. The ladies inside are beyond sweet! Very helpful, easy to talk to, very welcoming and just good ole conversations!!! Love it. I had the peanut butter and jelly donut mix and then the chocolate bavarian cream donut!!!! Ummm sooo yummy :) Thank you ladies for a great breakfast and good conversation!!!
