READ VERY CAREFULLY! I am not well versed with mechanical scooter work that’s why when Water got into my fuel is when I contacted them for repair. They put a new carburetor on my scooter charged me 350$. No value for money at all. I didn’t ride it for a day or two after he did a walk around for me and then the next day when I tried to start the scooter smoke started coming out from the exhaust and my scooter did not have any race at all, it did not even move forward. Contacted them again said that I have already paid so much money and it’s still not working so get it fixed for me now. Took my scooter and finally got the water off it and I also asked if they can do my oil change. They said they would charge 200$ in total when I reached there for my pickup and asked about everything they did on my scooter they did not do my oil change and charged me 30$ more on the spot and charged me 230$ in total. I purchased my scooter for 700$ and they charged me 580$ for repair. They are not not honest at all and try to strip you off your money. I had to collect money to get my scooter repaired because I’m new here and have to walk everywhere. Very very horrible people. Nor will I take their services ever again and also DO NOT recommend anyone to ever go to them.
This shop is the most unprofessional place I have ever experienced. Dropped off tires at 9am to have new ones put on and balanced. The owner said it wouldnt take long and he would call when they were done. Around 4 we called up there and he said he was starting them. We Showed up at the shop at 5:40 (keep in mind his door and website say he closes at 6) just to sit there until 6:15 when he showed up in a car asking “are you going to wait until 9am.” He told us he would have a guy come in early to do them and have the tires finished the next day by 10 or 11. My boyfriend showed up the next day at 10:30 and they still hadn’t started. While he waited he wanted to buy cleaner for the side by side and that’s when the owner snapped at him and said “didn’t I say I would call you when I was done.” After that the tires were still not finished so he asked for them back to take them to a different shop and the owner had the audacity to still charge him $50… Any way 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM.
Very nice guys. I highly recommend giving them a call. Great value and honest people. Thank you 🙏
Kevin was excellent. I brought my maddogg in and he treated it as if it was his. Told me hed be done by Tuesday/Wednesday and got a surprise phone call to come get it on Saturday. Impressed and will return in the future.
I attempted to use Motor Werks to service my ATV. Kevin said it would take a couple days and he would be sure to call us before ordering any additional parts if they were needed. 2 weeks went by and after multiple attempts to contact Kevin to get a status update we finally decided to pick up our ATV and take it somewhere else. Upon arrival when I attempted to pick it up, I found our ATV parked in the back of the shop outside with no secure barriers. It had not moved since we initially dropped it off when I saw him park it. It was full of water and had not been touched. I inquired about the security of his shop and why the ATV remained outside with no fencing or means of preventing it from being stolen and he reassured me he had full surveillance cameras and that Cocoa was a safe neighborhood. I then requested to pick up the ATV and he would not allow me to. He had ordered hundreds of dollars of parts for the ATV without our permission and said he would not release the vehicle to us until it was paid. After a large confrontation and experiencing Kevin screaming at me in his shop and being very threatening, I ended up having to call the cops. Since the ATV was sitting outside with no secure barriers, I attempted to start the ATV and take home what was mine. Kevin then ran outside cursing and screaming at me, grabbed my wrist and yanked my spare keys out of my hands, leaving a large scratch on my wrist. I called the cops and insisted that the cop pull the security camera footage of the incident since there was a camera directly above me when this happened. Kevin told the cops the cameras dont work and have not been working for some time. The cop informed me that my incident was the second time they had been called out to Motor Werks that day and it was only 10:00 AM at this time. He said that he could not force Kevin to release my ATV and I would have to take it to civil court if I chose not to pay the money Kevin was demanding. He also stated that if Kevin went out of business while my ATV was in his possession that I should consider it a loss and move on. I ended up paying the money so I could claim my property. I then took the ATV to a much more reputable place, Route 1 Motorsports (highly recommend!!!). They were more than willing to work with me and attempted to use the parts that I had spent so much money on that Kevin ordered. EVERY SINGLE PART he ordered was the incorrect part and was not able to be used. I am now stuck with hundreds of dollars of ATV parts that are worthless to me and a really bad memory of this entire experience. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. you will regret it!I would encourage you to read many of these reviews on here and look up Kevin Rude on Brevard Clerk of Court. Check out his rap sheet. He is a very violent, dangerous and aggressive person. Battery and theft charges (for stealing my keys) are still pending for my case. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!
Leaving a 4 star for now Ill update when I get my bike back. I got my bike drove it for 3 minutes and it died. I dont believe it had to do with anything they did. I believe it was just a m.j other problem his mechanic possibly overlooked or missed. But, I will say this though, the owner locked up the shop and left just to come pick the bike up even though he was short handed. I understand hes busy and has other things going on. But hopefully Ill have my bike back this weekend. He has been working with me and I very much appreciate him doing what he can to help me our.
Great Clean shop, Wonderful Customer Service! No surprises- they did exactly what I wanted on my scooter! Fantastic Family Business!!! Highly recommend!
Safe your time, if you want to hear excuses and no results you came to right place.
BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!!! Do not take your bike to this shop. Kevin is sneaky and a fast talker. He’ll try to give you the runaround. Had to get police involved in order to get my bike back from him after I decided not to sell it on consignment. He also recommended I replace a fender since it had very minor scratches on it and when I did he never even installed it on the bike. I wish I would have read the other reviews before going there but I’m definitely never going back. This guy is a joke!!! Wish I could put a zero star rating
Friendly service and good prices
Worst shop ever took my bike for front wheel bearing kept my bike for 3days I brought the part charge me 300 plus he charge me for a tool so he can work on my bike never heard of a shop charging customers for tools to work on there bike fast talker my bike ride different now he is a scam artists in will lie in your face STAY AWAY or you will be disappointed I read the reviews they had more bad than good Im a man who likes to give everyone a chance well it backfired in my face I check the BBB after the fact it has a F ratings stay away or you will be over charge the owner makes it sounds good dont trust him a man who cant look you n the face when you talking to him always trying to talk over you he want be bless taking advantage of people
Excellent care of my Ridley! Not too many people know of, or work on Ridley motorcycles. Kevin and crew provide great service and are very nice to deal with. Help keep me safe on the road. I highly recommend them.
My scooter is now running well
Went there to get my rear tire changed on my motorcycle. The cost of rear tire on 05 ultra classic was around $170 everywhere else but the owner of this business wanted $220 plus $100 in labor/installing the tire. The reason I said yes to the deal was him saying that he can get the tire installed by next day if he get it in timeThat was on Thursday. I had to call him again on Friday. He said he got tire in late. On Saturday i had to contact him again asking about serviceHis response was he didnt have an employee to work on it. In Monday i had call him again and this time he took he dont have employee again to do the work. I told him then to give me my tire and Ill have work done elsewhere. He still charged me $16 for tax plus $1 for State of Florida(unknown charge). I just handed him $20 and told him to keep the change because obviously he needed money more than i did. Just made mistake by going there because this guy is dishonest crook and dont deserve to have support of customers/community. After this situation with him went to Steves Cycles down the road and get the job done right away. Just regretting for not staying away from this business owner in first place.
Great folks! Best customer service! Owner stayed late to squeeze in my repair on my motorcycle. I have been going to them for several years now and they work on my bike and my sons bike. They are really reasonably priced for the expert service. Their techs know their stuff and it is nice to have a shop I trust. I have never taken the time to thank them for always taking such great care of us and our bikes running great! Thanks guys and thanks for staying late for me. Im glad you have grown and moved into a larger location. Nice to see that around here. I am bringing in my Grandsons little ATV for some service next week.
Thanks for all your help! The customer service here is wonderful. They went above and beyond to help us find the best deal possible. I really appreciate all the time it took out of your day to give us your full attention.
Over promises and under delivers. Can NOT keep his word. Very poor business model.
So I called around many different bike shops this place was not only the cheapest but the quickest. They did spectacular work hands down. I will not go anywhere else after coming here today thats for sure.
Awesome people
I really dont understand all of the negative reviews. Ive been taking multiple bikes to Kevin for a few years now, and they have always done incredibly well by me, even as far as to meet me at his shop after hours on a weekend.Kevin and his crew are not only good people, but also do phenomenal work and I will continue to refer everyone I know to him for repairs, purchases, and everything in between.
So I usually check google reviews before going to a new place however I needed to help my husband find a new front tire for his ZX10r. All the other shops quoted me over 100 bucks for a tire however Kevin said he could give me a front tire for 82 bucks! Also I told him I needed it put on the bike right away. He said he would put what he had going on aside to help me when we got there. So my husband and I showed up and he help my husband unload the bike right away and took it back directly. We were in and out within 35 minutes. I’m glad I didn’t look at the reviews because I wouldn’t have gone to him. I will definitely be back to his shop. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about but my experience was great.
THIS IS REAL! DONT TAKE YOUR BIKES THERE!I work on a ship and we are in Cocoa only once a week (but I cant always go to town, because of work). Our bike broke down and the only place we could find was this one. The guy said hed have a look and hed call us. He never called! A month later I was able to go back and he said they couldnt take a look at it. It went on and on like this for 4 months. I went back tired of him playing around, and he was even more disrespectful, condescending and couldnt give a toss about our bike. Another month and a half went by and he finally, after so many messages and calls sorted it out. I went to pick it up and he was the nicest guy you could imagine, which is very annoying, because it was PAY DAY!!! He charged me U$400+ for things that I didnt even ask! And he supposedly changed the battery and 2 months later, the battery is not working! He even said things like this took 1 hours work, but Ill charge you only half and so on...I will never again take my bike there, and I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone.
Absolute joke! i bought a brand new Wolf 150 from this place, paid over 2 grand for. i come back for my first oil change/tune-up FINALLY after they first keep it for a whole day only to not touch it or call to tell me that they’re keeping it overnight but the next time i bring it in. they say done by 4. 6pm i finally get a call it’s done and ready to go but not without first paying over $230 for a tune up/oil change. unbelievable. absolutely disrespectful and a complete rip off.$180 in labor?? i asked for an oil change and break in tune up,
I sent my Boyfriend in with our scooter to get a back tire changed! Seems simple enough! When he left, the exhaust was fine! When he came home the exhaust was messed up! We called and he said he is not responsible but went on to tell us what happened! A bolt was stripped and fell out? He never gave us the bolt back and just left it out of the exhaust! We have no idea what part we need to fix it now and have a bigger problem than we started with! Sounds like a whole lot of greed to me! Definitely wont be going back! Terrible customer service and nothing but greed!
The absolute WORST “professionals” i’ve ever dealt with. extremely rude and nasty. DO NOT GO HERE
This shop is a No Go! Had work done on brakes. Came back with light scratches on tank below brake reservoir and brake fluid splatters that were already eating into the paint. I got them off before they ate all the way through but the clear coat is bubbled where all of the splatters were. The reservoir is seeping fluid now. Ill fix it myself as I should have to begin with I guess. The shop appears seriously understaffed. They did also install a custom cosmetic part and that seems to have been done OK. I wont go back.
This place was great, I was having trouble with a new scooter I just bought from a different dealer. They were closed when I called on a Saturday and they told me to bring it in anyway. My gas cap was stuck shut from picking it up from the original dealer, they fixed it on the spot after hours because they knew I needed the scooter for transportation.Great place I highly recommend!!!
So far so good, I gave them a pretty impossible deadline (Brought in a pair of burly slammer shocks at 3 pm and told them I needed the work done by COB, they said no problem...If they pull it off theyll have a customer for life...Ill keep you posted.Update: These guys pulled it off, very professional, quality job. Thanks guys
Nice shop!
The owner Kevin is shady and fast talking. He will low ball you on a trade and try to explain his greed as “market conditions”. I made an appointment to see a used bike he had listed, only to find out that the bike wasn’t even runningand this shop has no insurance so forget about a test ride...just take his word that “it’s top notch”
Do not do business here they lie about prices and hold your bike without letting you get it had to take them to court they forged paper work added my signature to a bill of sale please stay far away not honest people save yourself the headache...PLEASE. ... ...
High energy sales people, Low mileage bikes here, but not many on hand when I was there. Reasonably priced as dealers go. A+++
Cool dude great prices, they only guy i would take my bike to; for any repair or anything i need fort my bike
I went to MotorWerks this year and they did a great job on my motorcycle. I was given a discount coupon for the Safety Motorcycle class. I lost it and when back in a month later, with no hesitation I was given another card.
I had Kevin tow a 2017 scooter in for a relative that had been hit by a car. It took a long time to get parts because it was a kymko which is normal for certain parts for them. Kevin and I were patient and respectful of each other and today I picked up our scooter completely redone and beautiful!! Thank you again Motor Werks for a job well done!!!👍
I just had my motorcycle fixed at Motor Werks. They did a fanstatic job! They are friendly, courteous, and honest. Fixed my bike in a timely manner. Kevin was great and very informative. Danny did a wonderful job on my bike. I recommend them highly. They gave me a free estimate and Champion Honda was going to charge me $120.00 for an estimate.
I brought my scooter in to get the oil changed and asked if they could take a look and see what could be the problem as my scooter was running slow and not wanting to go over 55mph (normally goes 65) he didn’t mention anything about The cost all I was aware of was the oil change charge for $20. When it was finished I was hit with a $100 Bill And they still couldn’t figure out what was wrong. These people are scam artist. Stay far away!
I had my outlaw 525s there for 8 months with no work. They never answer the office phone when I called. When they did answer I was told they have no mechanics. After 7 months of waiting Im fed up and ready to pick up my fourwheeler and take it else where. For 2 weeks solid no answer from the phones. I went to cocoa from Orlando during business hours on Tuesday morning to find out they are closed. I found the delivery door was unlocked so I shouted out to find the owner to tell me I should have called first. He has to go to court and dont have time. I remind you its in business hours and Im asking for 5 minutes to take something back that hasnt been worked on in 8 months. He slammed the door in my face and locked it. So I hoped on 911 before the cops cam show up my fourwheeler and the 1100$ in parts was pulled out to my truck and trailer. Super disappointed to agree to spend thousands to get crapped on for months and possibly could of lost my fourwheeler at such a crooked shop. All I can say is good luck with these guys. I havent had any...
Brought my bike in to get some work done, but first quoting me an estimate on the work. Like new tires brakes oil change, sparkplug possible paint job, handle bars lose and key lock in the middle. Well this guy has for two weeks come to find out he just started doing everything without giving an estimate first a set of 402 dunlops were about $400 wholesale he says he also did brakes front and back, changed the oil put in new spark plugs, tighten the handle bar, he took the lid off the saddle bag to get an estimate to repaint the wanted$450 each saddle bag I said no thank you he kept trying to pressure me to it and I sad no thank you come to find out there is a huge scrape gouge in the lid Now. Over a month later with only the above done, be the bike covered with grease all over the come and paint ask him why doesnt he clean up his mess he said he would never did though still grease everywhere. I got a bill for almost $1800 for the above work. The worst part was I brought it in because it was idling way up when you tighten the breather cap, I told please look at it because I know has nothing to do with the filter. Well he ignored what I said and order a new filter and at the last hour a month later calls me oh your idling up problem is not your filter it because the manifold has two broken heads and when you tighten the breather screw it idles up. That he would need to order special screws from Harley to fix it. I said no thank you put back together Ill fix it myself you should have had this diagnose a month ago. Do not used this place they will rip you off!! It was a very bad experience next time its going to Harley in Melbourne period! SMH
I received the best service on a personal level that Ive ever received from a motorcycle repair shop.I pulled in to moter werks from out of town on July 5th, both front and rear tires on my electra glide were bad, bike was unsafe to ride Kevin replaced both and did a great job with fare price and got me back on the road in the time that he said he would.Anybody that says they had a problem there must not understand how a motorcycle repair shop operates . The work order was presented to me before the repair and remained the same at the end of the repair . Kevin gave me a courtesy call after I left his shop just to make sure all is well . Thanks Kevin
Good, honest, and timely service. I have owned many motorcycles and it is very important to have a mechanic you can trust. I would not go anywhere else.
As a former employee of Motor Werks I would have to say Kevin Rude is a extremely aggressive guy. He tends to yell at customers. My four months that I worked there I witnessed the cops being called on him twice for not returning customers motorcycles.I also would like to add Kevin will make up any excuse not to pay you. You get paid billable hours but in the end it gets changed to billable hours on completed units. Stay away from this shop. This shop is a joke.I do think its funny that my post got changed from one star to four. Because he doesnt like the truth. Prob thought I wouldnt notice. So he must of broke into my email to change it. That should say it all. People stay away.
Decided to ignore negative posts and give them a try. 1:00 Thursday and betraying lit open neon sign the place was closed. Revved up and drove to Melbourne to buy my bike.
Good service they act like they know what there doing but they suck! if you go over there work somethings always wrong! if you have something you care about at all do not bring it here! if I could give them negative stars I would
First said bike was pristine, two weeks with no tag been back twice for it, and did not do proper maintenance on bike. Called to get throttle cable looked at was unable to help me out till the next week.
I have found Kevin to be hardworking and overworked. It is only because of his commitment to his customers that he gets behind. I do not understand the negative comments as my experience was quite the opposite.
I went in for a tire and left with a broken head bolt on my scooter instead.i asked about fuel line clips and the guy just like ignored me it felt like. I didnt get an answer to my clip question till the very end. The third time I asked about them the guy freaking started going off on a rant to the next customer about one of his buddies driving in a race or something and started showing the customer pics on his phone instead of helping me . they didnt do anything g about the head bolt that they said was busted. The busted head bolt is now causing my scooter to leak exhaust improperly. The scooter wasnt doing that wen I took it in n they said it would be a 4 hour job to fix. I just feel like the boss or front counter person was rude and I feel swindled kind of.
After reading all the reviews from this place I have decided not to take my bike there. Thanks to all who posted about the bad experence they have had from this place. More bad reviews then good means this place should be avoided.
I never get involved in internet reviews like this, but feel i have to after reading these posts. These are totally unfair negative reviews here and am very shocked. I have been going to Kevin for several years now and hes a great guy, hes honest he tells you what needs to be done and calls you before he does it. I highly recommend his service. Ive taken 2 bikes to him to service and he does a great job and hes quick. Its a shame that there are so many negative feedbacks on this site, which I really dont understand. I have never had any trouble with any of the things that people are mentioning about Motorwerks. This must be some kind of mean spirited revenge that local competitors are doing to Kevin. Its a shame.
This by far is the best experience Ive ever had at a motorcycle shop just went into browse at bikes and Elena was so helpful and very knowledgeable about the bikes will definitely return later to buy one
I cannot stress enough, do not bring your bike to this shop. I have been to motorwerks twice and both times i experienced the same terrible service. They will not call you about anything, you will have to call them. They will not meet even self imposed deadlines and they didnt even do all the repairs i asked.
Dont buy from China people! The idea is to save money right? Well consider whatever you give them to be more hassle than if you just flushed your money down the toilet. You will be paying thousands of dollars just to get your hopes up then have a hunk of junk on your hands. I got one of the chinese scooters and honestly I cant even keep track of all the things i have had replaced on it. I ended up trying to sell it. It was less than a year old with 2,000 miles on it and I basically had to give it away just to get it off my hands. And he will overcharge you and not even fix your problem when it does brake. I had mine in there 4 different times just to fix the head lights. What a pain. Dont support people who dont support you.
This is the worst place to get your bike fixed. I took my scooter here for a simple fix but left with more problems. I highly recommend that if your thinking about taking your bike here to get fixed DONT. Read the reviews and believe the bad ones because they are true.
This place will miss lead you. Owner doesnt follow through with what he tells you. Your better off going elsewhere.
Look at these reviews. They are all either pissed off customers, or overly enthused clients that sound like commercials, id put my money on which ones are fake. These people are crooks, and it doesnt help there case much that this motorcycle shop had to downgrade from a place on US 1 to burried on kings street.Much better shops elsewhere.
Great place, great people. Good to see a small business become successful through hard work, great customer service and dedication.
Watched them give a friend the run around for weeks. To the point he had to call the police to get his motorcycle back from them. Being this rude and untrustworthy of people, I cant fathom how they are still in business.I am leaving one star because it does not get lower than this. These people do not deserve any stars. After watching them say they would give friend a call back in 20 minutes about 25 times throughout the week and then in person locking the door when they come to get their motorcycle. Forcing the police to be involved is borderline stealing.Save your self the stress of dealing with these incompetent and lacking of integrity individuals. Kevin Rude is not a person to do business with.
So helpful!!!
Crooks. Brought in an atv for brake pads and came to pick up an outrageous bill because their tech took to long to figure it out. Kevin Rude certainly lives up to his name. 60+ reviews and below a 3 star rating? Dont bring your business here, there are far better shops elsewhere.
Never did any work properly. Everyone said stay away should have listened
Worst servise Ive ever had. Went in trying to get a new key and breaks done and came out with a 400 dollar bill. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
Heres my review of Motorwerks in Cocoa FL.First of all, I realize that I took my bike in for repairs during the worst possible time of the year. I dropped it off right before Christmas, on the 22nd on a Friday and that New Years eve would probably mean another break in work schedule. I completely understood that there would be some lag in service due to that. The rest of the review, comes after taking that into account.Issue #1- I took the bike in to get the drain plug removed and to have an oil change as the plug was stripped and needed to be replaced. Was told that it would be a very easy job to do. Did it get done? Nope.Issue #2- Also, the bike was sputtering to the point that it was a challenge to get the bike there on the 22nd of December. Had I felt that the bike wouldve made it to Melbourne, I no doubt wouldve taken it elsewhere. From the initial diagnosis of a messed up slide and float in the carburator which the parts alone cost $235 to the valves not firing right, to what might be a new gasket and a new piston to more and more parts that came out to $190 MORE dollars. I finally just asked them to put the engine back together so that I could just trailer it home or even walk it home if need be.Issue #3- The communication between the shop and me was awful. If I didnt call them constantly, I would probably still be waiting to hear from them. I had to make every call and almost always heard, Well call you back in fifteen minutes or I have you on my list of customers to call etc.Issue #4- The run around. Its simple. I wanted two issues fixed on my bike. I didnt want 4 more issues to come up to make me dump more money than initially expected into the bike. Dont tell me its one thing and then it turns out to be 3 other things. Just be upfront and honest with me. If you cant figure it out, just let me know and let me take my bike elsewhere. The sad truth of it is that when I took my bike in, it was running bad, but at least it was running. I picked up my bike and they didnt even check if it would start. In other words, it was a total waste of time and money. In closing, dealing with Motorwerks was a terrible experience. I would not recommend taking your bike there to be serviced. They have some nice bikes for sale and accessories etc, but thats a whole other side of the business. Again, the reason I went there was because its just around the corner from my house and I did not know if my bike would make it to Melbourne and I didnt have a trailer to use at the time. To reiterate, I would not recommend taking your bike there to be serviced. Ever.
THIS GUY KEVIS IS A SCAM!!! NEVER TAKE ANYTHING HERE TO GET IT FIXED your bike will be in the shop for 6 months... You wont get one phone call. The only phone call u get is when your bike is done and your bill is ready. I went there for a key and brakes about 8 months ago and came out with a 450 dollar bill that had stuff added on to it that i never even told him to do but he charged it onto the bill anyway.. Then got it home and it wouldnt turn back on. So i had to bring it back the next day.. That was about 6 months ago... YES.. JUST GOT THE BIKE BACK A WEEK AGO!!! And i didnt get it back... Had to have the COPS CALLED and come to the shop to even get the bike back. Then when the cops left he came out of the store screaming and had my bike parts in multiple boxes... NO NEED TO SAY MORE.. STAY AWAY!!! oh yeah and if u wanna give me a call like u did after I wrote my review the first time you can. You have my number Kevin : ) and by the way just like i told you i took my bike else where and it was done in 3 DAYS.... 3DAYS. The same part the u couldnt find for 6 months.. Took someone else 3DAYS HAHAHAHA screw this place
The worst service I have ever experienced! My scooter has been in their shop for over 6 months! This is after Id already paid for a repair that didnt even get me home before breaking down after picking it up from the shop the 1st time, so it went back in the shop a 2nd time.Every time I confront them on getting my scooter back, they give me more lame excuses of why its not done... still after 6 months!!!DO NOT... I repeat, DO NOT, do business with Motor Werks! Read the other reviews... even worse, read Motor Werkss replies to some of those reviews. UNBELIEVABLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Amazing shop they do great work, very knowledgeable, and quick too. Would recommend everyone to check them out!!!!!
Trying to give the local independent guy business has once again been a costly disaster. Great sales pitch on his experiences, but to be brief, an over abundance of BS that did not deliver. Ive been changing cycle tires and riding for over 40 yrs, its not my first rodeo. Got a friend to drop me off when the new tires were ready (who was going to buy tires from him,) he saw his business practice and walked away. Two tires, $400. Then charged $50 per tire to mount which was not included in price. Total $518, did not balance or change valve stems. DONE WITH THIS Motor Werks SHOP. Good luck dude, Im sharing this with other cycle clubs as required.
Do not trust this guy he basically stole my friends bike he has to get a lawyer to get his bike back. Do not trust anything he tells you or do anything dealings with this guy this is the worst case of trying to steal a bike legally . I have never been so amazed on what a shop owner would do to try to make a buck.Sorry for the rant but dont trust this guy
Horrible customer service told my husband if he didnt come get his bike today he would put a mechanics lien on it as well as keep it yeah its been there for a bit but the person who has the money and put it there is in the hospital highly uncompassionate yes I understand its a buisness but still wont recommend to anyone
Don’t sign those papers until u read them he has u sign the at the very end so if he want to add more changes he can and u can’t do any thing cause you already signed saying it was ok so only sign what u read poeple don’t put any trust in this placePlease if you read this stay a way from this shop I had a tire changed there once told me one price and in the end told me another I was upset but ending up paying the price trailed my bike home find that the brake was never hooked back up called him to tell him he told me he would call me back guess what he never did ! The very next day I go to go for a ride and my tire was flat the tube was pinched so he never fixed my tire at all . I trying to get a case together so anyone who want to help please contact me via Facebook. The owner was very very rude calling me names useing Inappropriate language after I was up set that he told me 40 on the phone and than he charge me 106 when he got done told 30 min I was there for 3 hours I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and I’m also going to contact the state attorney The mechanic in the end the best he could to apologize for the owners behavior this review is not about mechanic only the owner
The guys here were very professional and knowledgeable on helping me value my motorcycle and help me with my title problem. Thanks
Do yourself self a huge favor and read his reviews then bring your bike to Steves Cycles on us1 across from where Forest meets us1
Absolutely the WORST business owner I have ever run across. Kevin had my scooter for 5 months. He charged me over $1000 for repairs. My son picked up the scooter and it still didnt run! We returned the scooter for further repairs with no communication whatsoever... I called and left numerous messages for Kevin and his staff (one mechanic). I showed up to pick up my scooter and was told that I could not have it because I did not tell him I was coming to pick it up. I called the Cocoa Police Department to help me out. While waiting on the officers to arrive, Kevin verbally assaulted me and told me he would not return my scooter until the morning (I came from 3 hours away). The officers arrived and were not at all surprised with the situation, stating that this was common for this business. By the end of the ordeal Kevin was very confrontational with the officers as they threatened to charge him with theft. He returned my scooter to me with parts in boxes. Please do yourself a favor... STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!!
Best service in the area! These guys Rock! I have been coming to Motor Werks for about 3 years now with my CBR1000 and KTM. Their techs are better than any other shop in town and I have tried many. I just had front and rear tire put on my CBR and Kevin gave me a killer deal on the tires. They use a machine that never touches my rims which I like. I had Custom lights done about a month ago. My friends are jealous! i am always treated like family here and they are great people to work with. I leave happy every time! Wanted to tell everyone to come here and check them out!
Very poor customer sevice took bike there on consignment owner not a honest individual . Do not do business with motorwerks had to call police an they knew him by name stated he messes over so many people dont fall into the same category I unfortunately did . After I took owner to court not what he claims i indeed found out how dishonest he was i cannot believe someone can think being so dishonest is going to be successful your customers are what make your business At least the judge did not feed into his lies an deception I learned a lesson here an hope no one else gets caught in his web of greed an decect please do business else where
After reading all the negative reviews I figured I had better alter my review so it doesnt look like a fake or paid review.I have been going to Motor Werks since I got my first scooter. My first visit and Kevin took my scoot back and did a complete check up on everything to make sure it was good to go, replaced a spark plug, a few lines, and adjusted the brakes and only charged me a half an hour of labor. Then I got my first motorcycle. Had a nasty fuel system issue. Kevin took it in, rebuilt both carbs, replaced the petcock, synched and tuned the carbs on the dyno, and buttoned it all back up for just a few hours of labor and parts. My wifes scooter broke down on the side of the rode. Kevin came and picked it up, diagnosed it, and repaired all for under $200. What more can you ask for?Ive since had three tires replaced by Motor Werks, and each time I have been in and out in a half hour. And at $50 a tire, it is the best deal around town. (Being poor, I checked EVERYWHERE)People forget that labor on two wheeled vehicles and small engines is a lot different than on cars. The labor is more detailed, in tighter spots, and is literally protecting you from serious injury or death. 100% of the time Id rather have a safer ride coming back for a few more dollars than the cheapest job I could have done. The best thing about Motor Werks is that you dont have to sacrifice a ton of money to get top class work done. Kevin feels obligated to get you back on the road on the safest machine possible, and a lot of times, cheap ass people would rather have a half finished bike back than spend a few extra dollars getting it done right the first time.Ill say this, if youre cheap, think you know better than certified techs, then by all means do your own work. Then, go see Kevin and have him fix it right for you. This is a shout out for LARRY! Hands down the best tech in central Florida, and also a really really cool dude. More knowledgeable than your 80 year old mechanic father, and cooler than your neighbor, hell get your work done quick and right, the first time.
I called in thursday about a problem i was haveing with moto werks my friend took my bike in for me for repair the bike had a problem after picking it up i called and talk to danny about it he told me he did not care and call back a another time and talk to some one elese when my friend take my bike in she deal with kevin must of the time which he pretty nice he pretty murch did not believe danny would talk to me like that after the way danny spoke to me i really have nothing i want to say to them or talk about it
Waste of time and money on my part. I came in with a Scooter that was much too challenging for their mechanic to work on, and another excuse was that the price of repair with super exceed the scooters worth, I personally think he made a judgement call into thinking that I wouldnt be able to afford it and would then get stuck with my scooter. You decide. I leave this review as an indifferent and neutral 3.
The owner tells you one price then up charges every thing when the bike is done also very rude and his mechanics are secound rate and know very little and thats the only help he can get because smart mechanics walk out of his shop to work else where
The epitome of shady tree mechanic shop with even shadier practices to boot. They WILL do work on your vehicle without approval, they WILL give you a run around for lengths at a time, and they WILL bury their hands into your wallet as far as they can.
I just purchased a recumbent Terra Trike from Motor Werks and I just want to say what great people they have there and compliment them on their excellent service. They assembled the trike while I waited, sized it to me, then showed me how to take it apart and put it back together and how everything worked. I live in Palm Bay and one of their employees, Chris, who lives in Palm Bay offered to stop by my house if I should ever have any problems I cant fix.Ive been taking it out daily and have had no problems with my back or knees, which swell up like melons when I ride a regular bike—even for a block. I went about 15 miles last weekend and gave out at least 4 Motor Werks cards to people who asked me questions about my new trike and wanted to know where to get one. Gave out 3 more cards today when I went to the grocery store! I highly recommend you buy from Kevin and Elena, the owners of Motor Werks. They are good people.- Haley
