Speaking on behalf of a family member, do not bring your boat here. Paid thousands of dollars to have a 115 four stroke Yamaha serviced, there after still leaking oil from high-pressure oil pump - It was not properly installed. It essentially was going into limp mode. I would not recommend bringing my vessel here to get worked on, As far as I’m concerned these people are crooks!

I had a great experience dealing with the service department and the technician. They were able to trouble shoot issues or a 2017 Fountain38. All I needed was two battery switches. This is after Marine One in cape Canaveral took me for $ 5k and said your all set. Thank you Josh and your professional team.

Alert!!! Do not trust these people. They will do everything in their power to lie to you within the law. They do not care about their customers once you leave the door with your final purchase. Please learn from my mistake and at all cost stay away from this awful dealership!!!!!!! By far the worst experience buying a boat from these liars!!!! They take advantage of any kindness you my show. STAY AWAY!! BUYER beware!!!!

They sold me a broken part. The first time I’ve dealt with this location. I worked with Cody who was highly unprofessional. They told me the Atwood float switch was brand new but it arrived outside of the box with wires loose and looking used. I called to complain and received another. After putting the float switch in the vessel we found it does not work properly and we now need another one and it’s very difficult to get these American parts in Europe.

Tom is the best sales guy. They fix your boat in less than 24hrs they are yamaha pros. Will never go anywhere else. Tom Found me an amazing cutwater cabin cruiser and it was affordable and like brand new with a trailer. You are cheating yourself if you go anywhere else!!!!

If you are looking for a boat, any boat, go to Marine Max in Cocoa Florida. I looked all over the internet, went to boat dealers from Cocoa to Stewart looking for the best deal and it was here the whole time.I met salesman Ed Foley from Marine Max at the recent Orlando Boat show and we exchanged business cards. By chance he sent me some information and my wife and I stopped by to look around. We got the deal of deals on a new Sea Pro 219 center console. It was a better deal than the used ones we were considering and with a 5 year engine warranty and 10 year hull warranty. Ed took care of us like we were family. Kim Burch handled the paperwork and made the purchase painless. Thanks to Dwight for showing us the boat and Alan for his help with our new Ray Marine 12 inch AXIOM they installed for us. The installation of our electronics and VHF radio and bottom lights by Jose was flawless. Charlie and Ed took us out on the river for a test run and we were sold at that point. I know you will be overwhelmed with the support and care you will receive here. They really do want your business and it shows with their attention to details. Woody and Sandy

I should be closing on my first boat purchase this week. Dwight Ifland is a top notch gentlemen. The guy is a tried and true boater. He knows quality, wont push to up sell, and any advice he gives you comes from first hand experience. I was weary to buy from such a large dealer but in the end, Ill say Dwight and the Marine Max team here are wonderful to work with. He even let my dog hang at the factory and join us on the sea trial. I would highly recommend coming in to see Dwight and the team here at Cocoa. They sell quality vessels, will work with you to get a fair deal, and will ensure your satisfaction on a purchase. Thanks Marine Max Cocoa, looking forward to getting on the water!

When I bought my used 2008 SeaRay from an individual in 2010, I brought it to MarineMax Cocoa for a bow to stern inspection and service. It was a good experience. In 2013, I brought my boat to MarineMax Cocoa to have exhausts and risers replace. It was expensive and took much longer that estimated; but, everything worked.I recently brought my boat back in for service and diagnostics ... it was overheating. First thing I noticed is that it was a new team. After days of looking, they were able to find records of my boat and did some diagnostics. Alan Larose gave me the news ... with the style of the proverbial used car salesman, he went on and on about how a 15 year old boat used in salt water needs a new motor and that trying to fix this motor would be a lot of labor .... finally, he took a breath allowing me to get a word in just enough to point out that my 2008 boat was 10 years old. Without missing a beat, he claimed there was no difference ... the story was the same ... he continued to bully me into picking between an open check for labor to fix the motor or spend $17K on a repower. In a very condescending tone, he said he was trying to educate me on boating in salt water (Ive owned Sea Rays longer than this guy has lived). I excused myself from his store and said I need to think on it. I came back a few days later to pick up my boat for a second opinion. They released it to me once I paid the $350 bill ... though the engine belt was off and spark plugs lay in the bilge. The good news is that all that was wrong was a water pump. I had the engine serviced and pump replaced by Tom Houser and she is running great .... cost was $1500.Come on SeaRay ... we deserve better.

I recently purchased a pre-owned Boston Whaler from MarineMax Cocoa. The purchase experience was very professional. I decided to purchase through MarineMax because of its reputation. During the process, I inquired about the condition of the boat and in particular, the engine. Because the previous owner was a Mercury technician, the engine was represented to be very well maintained. When I received the boat, it would not start because the MarineMax technician failed to re-attach a wire in the engine for compression testing. When I took it to another MarineMax, they explained that the engine was poorly maintained - low oil, sticking thermostat and leaking steering hydrolics. The MarineMax Cocoa decided that it was a buyer beware situation and did not assist with the repairs. $1500 later, the lesson that I would pass along when purchasing a pre-owned boat from MarineMax Cocoa would be: Dont assume that the boat is in good condition even though it is being sold through a reputable organization; Pay a qualified mechanic to inspect the engine and boat, even though the boat is being sold through a reputable organization; Other than lip service, do not expect any assistance after the sale is complete. I made a mistake. I advise a great level of due diligence, not trust.
