Great experience buying a boat this past summer at Saba. John Welch is such a fantastic salesperson. He worked with us to find the right boat and was quick to follow up every step of the way. We are new boat owners, so the care that he took in making us comfortable was first rate. We are really happy with the boat and the service from Saba.

Awesome service! We were just 1 day into our vacation, having traveled 6 hours from upstate NY, when the propeller on our boat failed (spun hub). We pulled the boat out and drove directly to Saba Marines service area. One of the technicians, Matt, appeared from the building and asked if he could help us. I explained our situation and he promptly went to get his tools to remove our prop. After a quick look he confirmed that the hub was most likely spun. As the prop was old and kind of beat up anyway, I asked him if they might have a new prop for us. Matt then went to see Joe in Parts and after a few minutes was back at our boat with a new prop and installation hardware. After installing it for us, he took a check of our lower case oil to ensure it was full. Then, after a quick trip to see Joe and pay our bill, we were done - within about 20 minutes of our arrival! Both Matt and Joe were very helpful, friendly, and provided great service! Cant thank them enough for helping us out so quickly and saving our vacation!!

I bought a Sea Ray at Saba Marine from John. He spent hours walking me through the options by multiple different manufacturers. Great showroom and service. When I took delivery, John went through all the systems on the water to make sure I had no questions.

These guys really know how to properly execute all aspect of the business. From their tremendous customer service to their ability to fairly negotiate deals and make both parties happy (Ive been on both sides with them) I would STRONGLY recommend using Saba Marine for any of your boating needs. Great staff at the retail store and marina. Were happy such a great establishment is in Vermont with little boat dealers to choose from. With a wide selection of new and used boats and the great service, you will be a happy buyer! Give them a try if you havent already.

I have never been treated so rudely while patrolling a business as I was by the manager at Saba Marine, especially while considering spending thousands of dollars. He was short with me and acted like I was ruining his day by asking a question. I seriously almost cried. There are other places to shop for boats (actually right next door is another marina) and based on the utter lack of professionalism and basic human kindness at Saba Marine Id strongly recommend going elsewhere.

We literally searched all over the country before finding our boat at Saba. Even though they were just the broker they have treated us like their #1 customer. Jeremy and John always take the time to politely answer our numerous questions. They have provided such great service from the sales floor to the shop, that we now use them for storage, maintenance, detailing and even launching our second boat. They are a truly top notch group of guys and we wouldnt think of going anywhere else for our boating needs.

2 boats Ive purchased from Saba Marine; VERY PLEASEDIn 2011 I boat a new 330 twin gas engine Sundancer from Saba. They were fair in their prices and when the boat arrived, they prepped it, and patiently took me over the entire boat to review and educate me in the operations and maintenance of this craft. This was my 5th boat and I have been a life-long boater. With a rare warranty issue, they were on-site immediately. and after the warranty had expired, they continued to maintain and service the boat including winterize. After 6 years, I moved from Lake Champlain and sold the boat with their expert assistance for a very good price.Moving to a Lake outside Nashville, TN, I knew the boat I wanted for this lake and I found it at Sabas Marine after a national search. Once again, I was very happy to deal with John Welch at Sabas and bought a Sea Ray 280 SLX with a 350 I/O. Their support and prep and assistance to ship it to TN was perfect. They dropped the ball a bit with the education of the new functionality of this boat which was not easy being so far away, but overall, Im very pleased with the expertise, professionalism and knowledge of Sea Ray. My wife Leslie and I had been talking buying a boat since August of 2015 (OK, actually it was mainly me talking about buying a boat :-) ) While I have been on and around boats for many years, I had never owned my own. Back in early April, while heading to Burlington, I convinced my wife to stop at Saba Marine - to just look around. When i walked in to Saba Marine, I was immediately greeted by John Welch. I told him that I had more questions than answers, and the only thing I knew was that I wanted a 22-24 bow rider.I was no guaranteed sale by any means, but John said no problem, and he brought me into his office and answered by questions for 45 minutes. I left that day still not sure we were buying a boat, but I did know that if I was going to buy a boat, it was going to be there. That kind of customer service, when the sale was unknown, told me the quality of the dealership and its people.My wife and I talked about it for a week or so, and decided to go back in and look at the Chaparral 227 SSX. We both really liked the look of this boat.After a little convincing, Leslie agreed to purchase the boat with me (yeah).We were literally the 2nd boat on the water in the bay, and took countless trips around Malletts Bay with no other boats in site, and wearing winter coats.I remember John telling us that boating is a life style. i did not know exactly what he meant, but I do now. Every day we look at the weather forecast, the wind speed and direction, as well as wave activity. All in an effort to determine if we can get out on the boat.We love our Chaparral and look forward to every single opportunity to be on the lake.
