Great local hardware store! Friendly and helpful staff. Prices can be more than other stores at times but for the most part they are fair.

Although its considered an Ace Hardware store, still has local vibe to it. They are extremely helpful and if you cant find a specific item, theyll order it for you. They also have a UPS drop off which is super convenient. The employees here are well informed, professional and personable.

They have good stuff for a small store. If I need something they dont have I go to Ace in Norwich, which is also great.

Looking for clear silicone caulk and cleaning alcohol on this trip. They always have what I am looking for.

In town on vacation and needed some propane. I stopped in to get my 40 pound bottle refilled and they were super nice and happy to help! I also found the smaller gauges chicken wire I needed to fix my grill! The store is easy to find and everyone was super helpful.

Sold me a display model ego lm2102sp electric lawn mower when I purchased new. Actual model provided differed from the one I purchased. The grass bag doesn’t fit, covered in dust. Was never told it was a display model. They have offered to replace it with a new one but only because I caught it. Beware and check contents and box condition if you order a “new” item online and pick it up.A new item is not a display model folks, a best it should be classified as used. Who knows how many children have roughed it up.

Hope Plumbing help was absolutely amazing. I would give them 10 stars!! They deserve it. I showed a young guy my project and he had all the parts / and related tools for me in less than 5 minutes. It wouldve been an hour in a big-box-no-help store. He took on helping me as if it was his own project. He was surprisingly knowledgeable, yet knew when to ask for help from a superior. Fantastic, absolutely fantastic. I am so glad I stayed local for this project and help with it!!

I called to see if they had a spark plug and the guy who answered said he couldnt tell me and I would have to bring it in. He didnt ask what the number was on it at first, and it wasnt until I asked if anyone worked in that department that could help me that he did. I told him the number and he immediately repeated his useless yeaaaaah, youre going to have to bring it in. I couldnt tell you. Garbage service. I have never physically been to the store and this first impression means I never will. Hopefully that idiot gets fired.

I have visited this store four times since I moved here a month and a half ago. They have had what I needed only one of those times. The first time I needed replacement screws for a Hoover rug shampooer. They couldnt determine what size I needed. But, I couldnt find the info on the web myself; if I had not had three failures out of four visits, I would not be writing a bad review. The next thing I needed was socket covers for a chandelier; standard 2 covers with a 7/8 diameter. They said wed have to go to a specialty lighting store. Home Depot had them. The other thing I needed was a replacement nut for to go on a bolt on my grill. They didnt have it. We had to go to Home Depot again. This would have been a one star review, but the staff there is attentive, which earned the extra star.

A well stocked hardware store for general hardware, house and garden, paint, plumbing, electrical, hand tools, and small power tools.Anything they dont have in stock they will offer to order (arrives in a few days) and/or suggest another local business which would have it.

Pretty good selection uncommon hardware and things needed for emergency fixes although a little more expensive than the big box stores. However, its often much quicker to go to Hope and I dont have to spend time and gas money going 15 miles away and back.

This store has all your needs. I was even impressed they carry boiler parts. Great to find what you need.

Had a washing machine hose burst on a Sunday afternoon and to my dismay Hope Hardware was closing in 5 min and I live 12 min away! I called and they were kind enough to wait for me to get there! Great store and service and would highly recommend!

Cant find anyone in there who knows what theyre doing. Prices are outrageous and owner is rude and arrogant. Id rather go out of my way and drive to Hebron where theyre always helpful and polite.

Youll pay more than at one of the larger, chain home improvement stores. However, the small business feel, extra attention received immediately on entering (theyll always ask you what youre looking for and help you find it), and quality goods all make the slightly higher prices worth it.

I cant say enough about this place they are extremely helpful and they dont try and sell you what you dont need.
