Had a great experience here. The store had a great selection of trim and I found some items I needed that I couldn’t find anywhere else. The lady who helped me was extremely nice(I believe she was the manager)and even came over to ring me up since the people in front of me had a large amount of items and I only had a few things. Will definitely make the trip to this store the next time I need something even though some of their competitors have stores much closer to me. Worth the ride.

Giving 5 stars for excellent customer service! Had 2 very helpful associates during my shopping trip. Especially the cashier! Im sorry that I didnt get her name she was on register around 1pm on Sunday.

My 1st time there and everyone was extremely kind and helpful.While the cashier was very nice she did not offer me any coupons or asked if I were a member.

Really nice place to get all your arts and crafts stuff. They have home decorations and fabrics as well which can be cut to whatever dimensions are required. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good quality which is reasonably priced too.

I was almost done shopping before I got greeted. And the bathrooms were filthy. If you have the time to look through each isle you will find a good selection of fabric but it will be scattered throughout the store

Karen was great helping us fix the ticket price with the flyer because the bloom flowers were buy 1 get 2 free but it didnt say that. Quiora was our cashier who inputted all the changes and made the transaction very smooth. Nice people and the craft store had everything we were looking for

I placed an order online for 51.00. They charged my account immediately. They processed half my order and charged my card an additional 20.38 for the items thats were being mailed in addition to the original amount. Customer service says there is nothing they can do the bank will eventually release the right amount on the original charge, I asked her to cancel the rest of the order since I dont want to be charged additional money she stated no orders can be changed or cancelled. So if they mail the rest my card will be charged in total over 102. For a $51 dollar order Never do business with them again and I will be filing a complaint with my bank and federal trade commission and Ohio attorney General office.

Colonia, NJ store: Nice selection of fabric - which is what I shopped for today. Made use of 60 percent off certain quilting fabric coupon in the app and sale prices on other materials. Plus used my $5 reward earned by using the app on a second purchase. The ladies at the cutting table were very nice and efficient. Donald, the manager, manned one of the registers and was very nice to all the customers. Great shopping day - will return.

Very friendly staff, love their fabrics

On 4/10/21 at approximately 7/8 I stepped into this store for the 1st time with my 8-year-old daughter to pick up material for her sewing class. To make a long story short I ended up leaving the cart in the middle of the store and walking out due to the horrible customer service they provided to have to convince my daughter not to quit sewing class due to the defeat she felt the 1st trying to buy material for her class. I will never step a good in this store ever again!!

Purchased 2 sewing machines here. They offer sewing classes with the purchase of a machine and they have tons of awesome sales and sewing supplies you can’t find at any other store.

They were so helpful and even showed me how to get a great discount ... will be here more often

I am a longtime customer and it is noticeable now with Lucy as Manager and Karen as Asst. Manager this store is so well managed. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The store is clean and well stocked.

I got most of what I wanted for sewing. Nice hangout for crafters.

Thus location looks like its from the 80s. Limited stock. Plenty of fabric though.

I can find exactly what I want at JOANNs. Reasonable prices, no doubt.

Second favorite fabric store in Jersey, love the coupons because generally I think they are over priced for whats available. The coupons bring the products down to what it is really valued or worth. Otherwise people are nice there and selection is usually good. I frequent the store often and never had a bad experience.

I came to Joann Fabrics looking for material to make acoustic panels for my studio. I was greeted by Alexa at the door and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Kat went out of her way to help me pick the perfect fabric for my needs. I love this place and will be back as soon as needed!

Joanns fabrics is great. They have a great variety if fabrics for whatever it is you need. Staff a very helpful. They did not have a lot of sewing accessories which is what I went in there for.

Found exactly what I was looking for and the cashier helped me add the coupon app to my phone so I could save half on the fabric I wanted.

The experience was great. We ran into a sales associate who helped my mother pick out everything she needed to completed a hoddie/sweater that was started by my nephew. Wish I would have gotten her name. I will be going back to the store with my mother again.

My wife loves this place. I couldnt care for it. Its old and needs updating. I get depressed everytime I have to go to it.

Im not a crafter so I had no idea where or what to get for a project that I had in mind. The door greeter directed me where to go and the best materials to buy. And others in the store helped me also. Great place to go.

Lucy and Rosie were very friendly and helped me as best as they could with my return. During this pandemic I purchased a lot of things that unfortunately came without tags and broken from online. Lucy was very patient and helped me with a smile on her face. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole transaction. Not many people will go above and beyond like she did for me and I appreciate it so much! I hope she gets recognized for such wonderful customer service !!!

Horrible customer service!!!! I came back to the store first for a return and repurchase on a roll of fabric in which I overestimated the amount I needed and didnt end up using most of it. I wanted to return the amount I didnt use, seeing it was over 11 yards, and just pay for the amount that I did use. When I was told I couldnt do a return on cut fabric, I was fine with that and asked for an adjustment on the roll instead. I was assured by the cashier at the time of purchase that this wouldnt be an issue, even if I had used some. However, when I did finally have the time to come back for it, all of a sudden there was one.The manager on duty, Christine, seemed the least bit interested in her job or customer relations, as she rolled her eyes at me frequently as I explained my situation. She said that she doesnt have the authority to do anything, their return policy only has a week limit for adjustments, and said that I would need to come back tomorrow morning to talk to the store manager. When I told her that I dont have the time, and that nowhere in the store or receipt does it state this mysterious 7 day price adjustment policy, she just looked at me blankly and said this time our system wont allow it. Um....ok, so your system doesnt let you do returns or purchases? Because thats all a price adjustment is. Gotcha.Being a loyal customer to Jo-Ann, after this experience Im taking my business elsewhere. Smart move to lose hundreds of dollars on future sales with a loyal customer over $30 adjustment. REAL smart

Nice craft store. I can find anything that I need for my knitting and crocheting projects. Theres almost no one to help on selling floor but is very well organized that is easy to find what you are looking for.

Perfect pricing always has amazing sales and coupons. Love going here and sometimes I go twice or three times a week. Staff is super friendly and helpful!!

Sales lady was extremely pleasant and helpful which stood out because they were closing in about 30 minutes of my arrival time.

I am a frequent shopper at the Joann s in Colonia Store. Its a great store with a very friendly staff. Yesterday they out did themselves. I had been trying to purchase a child size mask for my Autistic grandson in hopes that he would wear it . With his sensory issues this is difficult. He likes Mickey Mouse so I thought I would give that a try. No luck sold out every wear so I called the Joanns store to see if they had any fabric I could use to make one. Don answered the phone and he TOTALLY STEPPED UP. He did not know that I was a regular and busy as they were with their curbside pick ups he took time to check the stock to help someone with a special need. He had staff members cut and put pieces in a bag and I flew back to the store. When I got there two young ladies brought out a bag filled with multiple choices of Mickey and Minnie fabric and Dons message that the fabric was a donation for my grandson .They all wished me luck, hoping he will take to one or more of the multiple Mickey and Minnie Patterns with great concern for his safety. They were all so concerned and helpful, If not for the virus I would give them all a hug! Especially DON !

Website said they had stock went to that store because of what Website listed got to store no one on floor only 2 people were cutting fabrics or demoing sewing machines the store Mgr showed up and asked him about item and what Website said he went to back to check and never came back out not good...

Joann Fabric is an excellent place to shop. Had an incident with an assistant manager refusing my service dog to be in the store, however this was rectified immediately (was a training issue) and no harm was done. Still a pleasant place to shop.

Friendly staff, but needs a makeover

The merchandise is good and this is the closest fabric store to my house, and I like the app and coupons. But the customer service vibe here is lacking - I know working in any customer service capacity is hard, but in the 20 minutes I was in the store I hard 3 different staff members dramatically and loudly complaining about other customers. I get it, we all complain, but some things are for the employee break room, not while youre standing 3 feet away from a customer (who is now going to wonder if shes getting talked about too as soon as she leaves the store).Ill be back because it convenient, but if I have the option, I usually go to other craft stores.

Joann usually has some great sales. The downfall I see, is that there website has a lot of more products than in store, and many times the store is sold out.

I ordered some items online the other day, and got the confirmation email saying not to go to the store yet, they would send me an email when my order was ready. I called the store after a few days to tell them I was on my way and not put the order back on the shelf, and when i dial the number I get a fax machine. So now i have to rush to the store to get my order before they restock it. **UPDATE** I rushed to the store, arrived at 5:30 only to discover the store closed early. There was another angry lady there complaining about the store closing early. The store is supposed to close at 6pm.

One of the only functioning Joanns left in NJ in the midst of a pandemic. A+ to the entire staff! Things are delayed and it may take a while, but you can at least speak to a person and that makes all the difference! Don’t bother with corporate email. It’s all copy and paste statements. I have to go out of my way to go to this Joanns but it’s absolutely worth it given the quality of staff.

Great choice on fabric, but the one I wanted was sold out. A little run down, but serves it’s purpose. The cashier was excellent, fast, helpful, friendly.
