I didnt go in here for fabric. I remembered that Joanns also has home decorating items and in this case I bought 2 great wreaths for fall, after having looked in Hobby Lobby, Marshalls, Target and Wal-Mart. Joanns was cheaper and had such a nice selection I bought 2. For that they get 5 stars.

I love shopping here! I got great deals at the 70% off summer sale. The staff is super friendly every time I go in. Service was slow today but that is very rare.

Had a need to some card stock paper was planning to make tissue boxes. Joann had it on sale great buy. My project turn out beautifully with the card stock I purchased.

I hadnt been in a JoAnn store in a long time. The store was clean. There was a really nice selection of various craft and project items. I had a great time going up and down every isle. But I chose not to buy anything. Everything was so expensive. There were no fun bargain bins to dig through. Even the remnant bin was way over priced. I love digging around for good deals and I used to find all kinds of goodies there. But JoAnns is no long a bargain hunting place for me. But if you are a serious sewer, quilter, etc. then you will find about anything you need, if you can afford it.

Going to the store is helpful in finding fabrics and notions. The rest can be ordered but seeing the selection of fabric and yarn is better for my projects.

I made my first curbside pickup today at the Colonial Heights JOANN store. I was extremely pleased that the order I placed Saturday night was ready to pick up the day after I placed the order. Im still waiting for orders I placed at another JOANN store a week ago to be ready. Curbside pickup went smoothly. Keep up the good work!

Not one person spoke to us. We walked in and walked throughout the entire store. Not one greeting or an offer of help. We left and went to Michaels.

My favorite fabric store with some amazing employees!

My visit to this location of Joann, on Tuesday, June 25 around 5:30 pm, completely shocked me. I am accustomed to great service, positive attitudes, and a welcoming environment when I go into a Joann, and todays visit was completely the opposite. I went in to purchase something I needed for a trip out of town, so there was a sense of urgency. Neither was I greeted when I walked in, nor acknowledged for 5 minutes as I stood patiently at the counter looking at the rep do everything except acknowledge me. Finally, I asked if I was at the right counter to be assisted, and she said, oh, yes of course I can help. After asking my questions and being completely disregarded, the rep looked in her scanner to tell me information I had already shared with her via Joann.com. To spare the rest of the details, I walked out and drove 30 minutes to the Westchester location and was greeted by a welcoming staff and a quick exchange. Disappointed in the staff today. In todays political climate, it seems like beating a dead horse to mention race, but Id be remiss if I didnt mention that all the other white customers around me were being greeted and helped... I truly hope this was a simple misunderstanding and not racial discrimination. Either way, I suggest management looks into it.

I was I the store on Thursday. The customer service in that Jo-Anns is so bad I will not be going in that store again .the girl at the table was rude.when my daughter was asking about item.. she would not take the time to answer the.or look at my daughter.

I have been a long time customer of Joann Fabrics...lately they seem to not have enough staff members for the customer load. I still love them though.

I do not recommend this Joanns. It is very small and does not have many of the items you find at any other Joanns. I feel like the store is a decade or more behind all the others Ive shopped. In the Richmond area, if you wish for a great Joanns shopping experience, go to the Joanns at Westchester Commons. You wont be sorry. Its worth the drive. I promise.

Workers do not know store policies. Everyone does some different everytime I go there. Mesh fabric folded... folded this time, last time was rolled and put in long plastic bags. Invest in teaching the workers one policy.

If you sew or do crafts, this is a great place to go. The staff is knowledgeable and efficient and the selection is really good dor everything except really super high end fabrics (like wedding dress fabric). If you are starting to make jewelry its a great place to get what you need.

Its always so relaxing to walk through the store and feel the fabric!

I love Joanns. I stopped at the one in Richmond Va on my way home. Its bigger than the one at home. I was planning on buying several patterns, but the 2 drawers I needed to get patterns from were in a mess. One was hard to open and the 1500s were between the 81o0s and the 9100s. I ended up just got 1 pattern instead of the 6 I wanted because it was difficult to find the others.

Its my happy place. The staff and even other customers always make it a wonderful experience.

The employees are so patient and very helpful and they always have great sales.

They seem to have more knowledgeable staff there now. Drapery/ upholstery areas kinda lacking. We really need a Joann Super Store like we had up north. I do miss the fabric store competition from years ago.

The assistant was very knowledgable and polite. She attended to me to with personal touch.

Great place to craft items and sewing items. However, they dont carry plastic canvas anymore. Lots of drapery material and table cloth material.

If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD Im always in a Joanns store but since I was in the area I decided to stop and pick up what I needed instead of my usual store I asked where they was I was rudely spoken to and the lady didnt even bother to find out if they had it or not ..... Then I stood at check out for 30 minutes before anyone helped me and they wasnt doing anything but talking to each other no other customers were in the store !!!!!!!NEVER AGAIN ILL DRIVE 30 MILES TO MIDLOTHIAN TURNPIKE

It was the shopping experience from hell! But, it always is when you go into this store. Ashely and Joan seem to think they own the store and can pick and choose which customers to be nice and helpful to. Ashely can not count and should not be in the position she is in. And Joan dont check the tapes to find the true facts about a customers visit. First time....I came in and ordered 12 rolls of wire. I returned to the store on truck day. Ashely told me there was no order for me. She was very rude. I was told to return tomorrow because the truck had not been stacked down. Ok. Unhappy about it but I agreed. When I returned to pick up my wire. Ashely told me she didnt have time to find my wire. I would have to wait until the close of business at 9pm. I arrived at 430pm. Second time........I had 30.00 of merchandise to return to the store. Ashely returned the merchandise. Rang up my new merchandise which totaled about 50.00... She then requested I pay her 50.00. It took over 45 minutes of going back and forth. Before she realized she never subtracted the 30.00 from my total. That also was a visit from hell. Third and last time. Of course when I walked through the door there was Ashely.. I started to just turn and walk out. But I have a business and I needed to return the unwanted product. And here we go with Ashely and her ability not count. This time I thought it was elementary. The merchandise was 1.99 x 9 and 4.99 x 3 with 30% coupon given by their corporate office. This time should have been a breeze right? Wrong. She put it in the register . She said it cant be returned because it has been returned already. What?!!!! I had the receipt showing the merchandise. I have bought 100.00 dollars at a time at that store. Sometimes three times a month. Why would I even attempt to steal 30.00....she told me the manager was on the way. So again I had to wait. But not only did the manager show up but so do the police. The police asked for my ID. Checked me out like a criminal. When they found I was not wanted. They started to talk to Ashely and Joan about the situation. Joan said she could do a without receipt return. Which would discount my items even more. Why? It was on the receipt. I thought the first requirement for management was reading and adding? Ashely even stood there while another customer call me names and talked about me and how I needed to be jailed? Why? And who are you? It was. hot mess!!!! After I agreed. Agreed. To take the stuff back to the store in Henrico Va. The police ran out and said the employees ask that I not return to the store. Why? Because Ashey cant count and Joan just put a warm body in the position and not a qualified person. Thank you. Thats less money I will spend in your store. And the corporate office should not give coupons before the head employees (Ashely and Joan) agree to it. Because I really think they dont like coupons. Because Joan told me once that the coupons kills the store average.

Awful I just left there was there for almost an hour after asking for help looking for something I could not find I was walked away from by not one but two employees finalee the one that helped said there aint none stood in line for an additional twenty minutes to check out for what I was gonna settle on fabric cutter left said she would be rite back half an hour latter still not back I left now late for an appointment no fabric diapoinment every time I walh in ur store point I am making to u today or store is worse than WALMART Id rather have nothing than ever come there again Ill drive to mechanicsville an go to BENFRANKLIN . I hope yall shut down soon ( very soon ) your store is the worst at customer service I have ever seen yall shouldnt be servicing a dog kennel
